   We were excited to have brunch in this place and left not wanting to come back. I had a tea reservation also for my girlfriends and I cancelled that also. Very nice place but the service was not great. Also, 3 of the items we wanted they were not available. Server was rude as well.

   I always grab their eggs Benedict with salad and it’s so good! Their vanilla lattes are amazing, as well as their pastries. The decor is so beautiful too. Had a great time! Easy with baby!

   It was disappointing to find out they were not doing restaurant week menus at this location- that was my sole reason for the reservation. The new chef is talented but there are so many unusual flavor combinations that don’t sound like something I want to try. Really miss the gluten free peanut butter cookie!!! The brownie was the only dessert item available that sounded good. It was very good, but you’d hope for more options.

    Brunch did not exceed expectations for a busy Sunday. We had a reservation around noon. Most of the pastries were already sold out. Food arrived warm but not hot. Seemed a little pricy but so is everything in Edina. We were expecting all of that to be honest. I wished our waitress had been a little more welcoming and told us about the menu. She didn’t introduce herself and only asked what we’d like to order with a check in once our food arrived. For first time customers, an explanation of the menu and options (pastries still available, brunch bundle) would have been appreciated. Decor and ambience were absolutely lovely though, and that was a large part of what we came for for a ladies birthday brunch.

    Our group of ladies had a great lunch! They had just changed to a new brunch menu, and we all got prime rib sandwiches with salads (instead of fries) and we all agreed it was delicious!! The service was attentive but we did feel that we were yelling to hear each other talk. High ceilings and bare cement floors didn't help with the loudness factor. Maybe sitting in a booth would reduce the noise volume, because the food was so good at a decent price, that I would definitely return for lunch or tea.

    Lynhall has changed, not for the better. Food was not made well, they do not have their famous pastry and their menu is not what it used to be. May not return.

    My son asked me to join him for lunch. I loved the ambiance of this place! The menu was different and intriguing! I found it interesting that so many of the items offered featured eggs. I love eggs and the dish I ordered included two fried eggs. My entree was both tasty and interesting. I liked the combination of items included.

    The duck wild rice stew was awesome. The turkey in the turkey sandwich was dry, reheated and very overcook giving it an unpleasant metallic taste. This mix of great and awful items on the menu occurs frequently at this location. It points to a problem in the kitchen when it comes to preparation.

    Ambiance is very good. Food is mediocre. Our server, Ian, was very good. We also had another lady server who was very openly rude. She was serving water and also worked at the coffee station, I believe.

    Four of us met for after holiday gathering at 11:00. Everyone loves brunch/breakfast. We split our bill 4 ways. We had only coffees, no alcohol. Each of us paid nearly $30 (with tip). The prices seem outrageous. I had French toast. Not enough syrup not worth the $. My clothes actually had a lingering odor that permeates the restaurant. It’s cooking odor and it’s heavy.

    First time there, my friend had the burger, I had the Lynhall standard. Both delicious! The bacon, so good and thick, the potatoes I could have eaten all day! Delicious!! Our waitress was a sweetheart and didn't rush us even though it was pretty busy in there. Will definitely go back soon!

    The venue is beautiful! So light and bright. Comfortable tables and nooks. Waitress was super and the coffee continued to be offered through our long stay. Menu is wonderful with lots of variety. I had the steelhead trout scramble which was wonderful and shout out to perfect sourdough toast that accompanied the dish. My friend has veggie hash ( forgot what it was called ) , which looked and was great. Love the location!

    While the food and table service was quite good, I am compelled to report the table seating was less than desired. I arrived at my appointed reservation time on Tues. Dec. 27, 11:30 am and was seated promptly. My friend arrived just minutes behind me but was left waiting for 15 minutes with some unfathomable confusion about her reservation with me. No apology was given when she was finally seated. Despite this problem, I will give The Lynhall another try and caution friends to be ver specific with their reservation.

    In the heart of downtown Edina, this is such a gem! Parking in the Nolan Mains underground parking is so convenient. It’s cozy, nice menu, and you can even do a little shopping on your way out!

    The gnudi with shredded dark meat chicken was very flavorful, and the sauce was divine. Gnudi are like gnocchi except made with ricotta cheese, so they are lighter and tastier. My partner had the shakshouka with the poached egg on top accompanied by the chickpea fries and tahini sauce -- it was excellent. The portions are generous and I took a box of almost half of my entree home. We also enjoyed a tasty side order of roasted gremolata mushrooms. I also have to comment that the decaf coffee is very very good. Lynhall is airy, clean, with high ceilings but great noise mitigation, so a conversation can be carried. Lynhall reminds me of an upscale French cafe.

    We went to Lynhall for lunch to celebrate my mom’s birthday - the food was tasty and our service was fantastic! The green falafel sandwich was a little hard to eat because the fresh bread is soft/falls apart. The potato mushroom bisque was fabulous.

    Lynhall is lovely, I took my Granddaughters this week, had great service, but was disappointed in the menu choices for a bit younger group. They “ kind of” ate some, and I finished it today. I’ll be back, but not with teenagers, who love Pasta.

    Food is excellent. Ambiance and service are fine. Nothing will "wow" you. What I don't like is businesses which charge extra for using a credit card and tacking on a fee for health and welfare, blah, blah. Just build all this into your pricing.....urgh....

    Love the restaurant and style inside, so cute and cozy! Brunch was average at best with decently small portion sizes for the price. It’s just a cute restaurant. My friends got two of the cocktails, a beet Bloody Mary type thing? He strongly disliked it. Overall I liked it just not if I was starving lol

    Staff was attentive and considerate once they took our order. Initial coffee was quick but ordering required seeking out the server. Our food was excellent, very nicely plated and served with a flair. We selected Lynn Hall for its spaciousness and quality and we were not disappointed. Initially, the music was excessive, adjusted twice at our request.
