My caeser and salmon were great. Service not as good as usual. Seemed like there was no bartender. Took over 10 minutes to be greeted, I ordered. Food showed up but from the time I ordered till I paid not a single person checked on me, and the person who took my order was sitting at a bartop table with other employees.

There are unique menu items that set this restaurant apart from the ordinary(i.e. jalepeno grits, short rib poutine, butterscotch pecan pie etc.) which will make us come back again! The pricing is a little steep, but the quality is comparable to the price on most items.

We enjoyed dinner for Arizona Restaurant Week at The Macintosh. It’s one of our favorite places to eat. I had the burrata toast, short ribs, a brownie for dessert and washed down with a Mexican mule. Delicious! We highly recommend The Macintosh and look forward to enjoying another meal here soon.

Our server was unimpressive. He spent a lot of time in the kitchen, had to ask other servers/bussers for things like a straw, utensils, never asked about my empty water cup, or never made any recommendations, it being our first time. Great food/drinks but I recommend sitting at the bar if you’re 21+.

Went here for the first time for a date and the overall experience was great. We sat outside in the evening, the sprinklers must kept us cool while we were dining. The salmon and short ribs were cooked to perfection. The service was helpful recommending drinks for me as I have no idea what to order sometimes. Definitely recommend if you just want some good food and a good time out.

So enjoyed lunch with friends! I got the grilled salmon and Caesar salad combo and loved it and even ended up talking about it the rest of the day. The Brussels sprouts, shoestring fries, and key lime pie were also fantastic. Looking forward to going back again soon!

Waitress wasn’t open to accommodating us, ash from the pizza place was flying around and set on our clothes which made it dirty, food was average. Presentation really needs to be better. Bag of bones doesn’t look good as a bag on a plate. Will not come back.

We’ve eaten here many times and our experiences have been hit or miss. Latest experience was poor then ended well as I will explain. Our encounter with the hostess right off the bat was poor when she said we could only sit in a booth if we were going to be done eating by 530 (about 1.5 hours from the time we walked in) because they had reservations for another party (we’ve heard that line before here). Well, we had a reservation too! The restaurant was less than 25% occupied and more than 75% of the booths were open. Is the restaurant more concerned about future reservations than present reservations actually showing up to spend money at the establishment? Or does this hostess require training on how to appropriately deal with good and frequent customers? I believe the latter. Then the blonde male server seemed disinterested in his job, he was not friendly, not attentive and blankly stared at me after I told him about our encounter with the hostess. Maybe he requires training too, or perhaps a different line of work. The only things that saved the whole experience was the food and beverages (typically delicious), as well as the dark haired male server who stepped in midway through to provide service for the remaining time we were there. He was very friendly and attentive…and he’s been out server before as well, he has always provided excellent service. These are the only reasons I gave 4 stars throughout. Would have been 5 stars throughout had the hostess and first blonde male server provided appropriate customer service.

We had very good service which made our evening nice. The brussel sprouts have always been our favorite appetizer but we were disappointed this time. The brussel sprouts were burned and greasy. There was minimal bacon and more garlic cloves than usual. We won't order again. I will return to Macintosh but try other entrees next time.

We were celebrating a birthday and had drinks, entrees, and a dessert. Our server happily answered our questions about the menu and was friendly and attentive. I had the seared ahi tuna salad which was very tasty, but the portion seemed a little small for a $24 price tag. We ordered the salted caramel brownie with ice cream and it was outstanding. It was a huge portion—plenty big to share. We sat on the patio and it was a nice atmosphere. We would eat at The Macintosh again.
