We love the Majestic and Ron took wonderful care of us - we ate outside in the wonderful weather and truly enjoyed the experience. The food was wonderful and we recommend this restaurant to anyone!

We've dined at the Majestic a few times previously, but man did they have a bad night on 5/13. First of all, the place is too tightly packed. We were (unpleasantly) sat at the first table in the middle row--despite having a reservation. Servers literally could not pass us by without bumping into us. Service was rough too. Jose presented a Pilsner to one guest who ordered a Porter, only to follow that up with serving a burger to a guest who ordered a steak...which is weird cause he made a big show of presenting her with a steak knife not ten minutes before. To be fair, we pretty much had to shout our orders at him because it was so loud inside the restaurant. Between being jostled by wait staff, presented incorrect orders, and having to shout our conversations, we won't be bringing out-of-town guests to The Majestic again.

Hands down our favorite restaurant in Old Town. Great food, authentic old school (been there for 'a million years', super service in an elegant yet very comfortable dining room. Right on King St so handy spot for lunch or a special dinner. Wonderful and have been here many many times. Can't miss w Majestic.

Kind of a weird experience tbh. Our server was mumbling thru his mask, and already had a thick accent on top of that, so communication between us was difficult and we didn’t get two items we initially ordered for appetizers. Not sure what happened there, but they never even got rung up so we didn’t get initially charged anyway. We were sitting under a speaker so the music was a bit loud, too. I enjoyed the old skool jazz bar feeling, the food was good, but because of our server we may not go back, ad it kind of dampened our spirits, which even those took a bit of a long time to get, too.

Amazing!!! Stop reading and go…hanger steak, mashed potatoes incredible…If I could give the Majestic more then 5 stars I would! The service is TopNotch and the food Excellent! Mohammad, Hugo, and Ron are incredible and know what true service is all about.. The host always has a smile on her face and the bartenders make the best cocktails.. the wine menu is excellent as well.. we have been looking for “our” go to place in Old Town and we have found it! We look forward to seeing you again next Friday!

Went here for our anniversary, it was nice but not outstanding. Cool ambiance but our waiter was just OK, didn't tell us about specials, and the food was very good but not amazing. We'll go back, but maybe not for our anniversary. Would be a great place to go for cocktails though.

Out to celebrate my birthday. The shrimp seemed boiled on my appetizer. and the mussels and sauce were not tasty. I was unimpressed with the cuisine especially with the prices. I am willing to spend good money for a good meal, but I was sorely disappointed.

They advertise $40 LaMarca Prosecco ($15/bottle) brunch drinks and gave us Wycliff ($5 bottle). They offered no explanation for the discrepancy or discount for misleading. The server was only friendly when it was time to close out. The short rib omelette had about 3 tablespoons of pimiento cheese which madre the omelette almost inedible. The charcuterie plate had 4 small wedges of cheese, pickled cauliflower and carrots, two decent triangles of meat and two triangles of cinnamon raisin meat. Def not enough to share with three people. Would not recommend especially if you’re used to variety of cheese. Espresso martinis were good, winter green salad looked good, as did the salmon Benedict. The biscuit was dry but the chicken was tasty. May only come back for happy hour but definitely didn’t care for brunch.

Went here on a Saturday night, 9 pm Reservation. It was a lively, mature crowd. Soft lightning, nice decor. The service was excellent, our server was very attentive and professional. The food was pretty good. Nicely presented, hot, well seasoned and the menu had a good amount of variety. I'd go back to do dinner again or try the brunch.

Our server, Hugo, was wonderful, and everything we ordered was delicious. We also originally planned our reservation for four people plus a baby, but because the baby was fussy, we ended up just being three. The restaurant was very understanding and accommodating.

The service is amazing here. Felt welcome and cared for the entire time, from when we checked in to when we sat outside and connected with the waiter. The food was delicious, though a little pricey with a $24 charcuterie plate. We enjoyed sitting on their outdoor patio on the street, which had nice heaters and shrubbery to conceal the cars. The waiter was so accommodating, knowing it was Ramadan and that I couldn't eat pork without having to explain it.

The service and hospitality were very good. Unfortunately, the food is fairly lackluster and overpriced for the level of quality. The $32.00 hanger steak was a very, very small portion and primarily consisted of an end piece. The red wine flavor was salty, tangy and unnecessarily overpowering. It was difficult to taste the meat because of the sauce it was cooked in. The chicken sandwich was pretty basic — flavorless, overly slathered with mayonnaise and overpriced at $18.00. It was worth about $8.00. The chicken thighs plate was visually unappealing when served and had too much going on with the dish. The dining room was loud — not because of diners but beachside of the very loud background music playing froM overhead speakers. At our table, we had trouble hearing each other talk because of the loud music. Music was so loud it made lingering after the mean difficult. Perhaps that’s the reason for the uncomfortable volume level.
