inizio serata un po’ incerto:
Su nostra richiesta siamo stati fatti accomodare al tavolo 5 minuti prima dell’orario di inizio servizio previsto (18.30). La richiesta era dovuta alla necessità di finire la cena per le 19.45 in modo da arrivare in orario per l’inizio dell’opera alla vicina Scala.
Il nostro ingresso antipasto ha parecchio innervosito il maitre in quanto erano ancora in corso delle modifiche nella preparazione della sala. Ci può stare ma il cliente non deve essere messo in imbarazzo.. tra l’altro non ci sono nemmeno stare prese le giacche.. Per fortuna poi la cena è proseguita molto bene.. gentile il personale e ottima la cucina con una menzione particolare per i dolci.

The location is beautiful, obviously with the design pièces of Tom Dixon but unfortunately the atmosphere is really cold.
The DJ used to mix old commercial songs revisited in remix.
The food was very not qualitative, i could say that it was dramatic. When you are in Italy you have the feeling that you are going to eat marvelously and this is not the case, here unfortunately. If you want to see and be seen, the place is ok but for 250 euros of final invoice for 3 people with just a starter, a main plate and one glass of wine... it's a bit hard if the taste of your food is not good.
Sorry Manzoni's team but you should check your critics and try to improve

Place is nice and beautiful, service is very good, but no ambiance in the restaurant, so it’s feel cold. The food was ok but nothing incredible and nothing feeling like Italian taste.
We were expecting something more generous and delicious for the food.

After reading a fantastic review in Wallpaper magazine and having always admired Tom Dixon’s work I was eager to visit this restaurant. Looking at the website promised much. I invited friends from both the UK and Milan to join us. On arrival we were led to a table at the most distant point from the entrance which was pretty much in darkness. No offer was made to take our coats. We were then just left there. After 10 minutes of waiting we decided that the table was not suitable and eventually spoke to a member of staff who put us in a more inviting part of the restaurant- just as well as a party was held in the room at the end which got pretty raucous! After 50 minutes we got an aperitif and our menu choices were taken. We ordered appetisers and primi dishes to start! I have had better risotto in Wildwood! One couple ordered their primi. 15 minutes later they were told their choice was no longer available. We decided not to order a secondi. I got the bill , spoke to the maitre d’ and expressed our disappointment. 10% was knocked off the bill and a drink offered! We were all underwhelmed by the whole experience. Such a massive shame. Maybe it’s early days ?!?!?
So disappointing, no one met us we had to find someone to register our booking. Told to wait at the bar but many free tables. Food uninspiring and expensive, no atmosphere and service slow. I took my son as a treat thinking it would be similar to the Coal Office and we left as such a bad experience
Every dish was great. Sophisticated menu and reasonable wine list. Wonderful service.
We booked after the opera because it was close and one of the few places open. At first although there were other open tables we were seated right across from the toilets. We were moved away but then realized that their front door kept opening uncontrollably blasting nearby diners.
The decor is usually cited as a plus but we found it to be designery corporate. The bathroom was so high concept I couldn’t figure out to turn on the faucet.
The food was quite good, sometimes excellent but it was spoiled by the wait staff trying to hurry us through our dinner so they could go home.
An amazing experience. Thank you to the team for looking after us so well.
Very bad cuisine. Interesting design but It’s not necessary in it if your food is bad
