The Meadowpark is a nostalgic haunt for me and my wife, with a long association going back nearly 20 years. The ambience in the bar is excellent with a rustic feel, roaring fire and well-pitched lighting. On our visit on 9th December 2023, the food was exquisite and the service attentive and courteous. Unfortunately this rave review is now to be ruined by our experience of paying the bill. The first bill we were given was for an eye-watering £176 and included all the drinks quaffed by the party before us. The girl realised the mistake and re-did the bill, but on checking it still contained drinks we didn't consume. The third bill for £105 was correct. Getting the right items onto a customer's bill is absolutely basic, and this experience was disappointing. Our mood of satisfied contentment was wrought asunder by this carelessness, and we did not leave with smiles on our faces.

Our table was ready, the staff were attentive but not overly so. Interesting menu choices and stuff understood what gluten-free means. We'll be back.

The staff here are what make this place. So friendly and great service. The food is great and I’ve never had a bad meal here. The cooked breakfast is the best I’ve had anywhere. It’s an all round lovely place.

Lovely meal had, service was fantastic. I have a gluten allergy and the waitress was great and knew exactly what I could have or if she wasn’t sure went and checked with the chef. The food came out lovely and hot and cooked perfectly.

The waitress was very friendly and attentive and when we asked if the radiators could be switched on she didn’t hesitate and the room soon heated up. The food was nicely presented. We will certainly return

Food comes across quiet pricey, but the portion size makes up for this, great service all staff are attentive and nice, shout out to Neil who took great care of us and was great at recommending food from the menu, Ambiance was great, place is so nicely decorated and clean

Although it is a wonderful venue and the food and service are both great, we felt very rushed overall. We had not yet even sat down before being asked for our drinks order - again, great and efficient service but we did put "date night" on our booking form so looked forward to a quieter, more relaxed evening. The music was very loud as well - not what one could call ambient. We were in and out in under an hour - a point, we felt, being the purpose of rushing us through our meal - more seats on seats? We fully understand that the place is a business, but if you're going to ask the occasion on your booking form then please take heed - we were originally escorted to a very public table squashed between a large party and a family dinner, something that shouldn't have happened if you were aware of what we requested. Perhaps we're just getting old and we're too introverted, but we find it difficult to find quiet, ambient places to go on our bi-annual date night. Would recommend to others who are seeking a louder, more fast-paced place to eat.

You are allocated 2 hours for your booking as standard, so there would be no reason for the guys to rush you, perhaps they were just a little too efficient, as most diners these days like quick service. Lovely setting, great service. Only negative was that there was 3 main courses off the menu (including the steaks). All beef shin had been added this was a bit disappointing although we dis enjoy our evening.

My dinner was absolutely lovely. It was freshly cooked and I didn’t have any issues at all. My friend’s chicken was quite pink and was undercooked. They took the food back though and took it off the bill. The staff were very friendly and we got served so quickly. It was a lovely place. I’d love to go back the next time I’m in Stirling

Another pleasant evening at the Meadowpark. As ever, welcoming staff who engaged with us Promptly and attended to us in a professional and courteous manners. The surroundings make for a perfect gathering with my teenage family and the food and drinks were likewise to the standard I have come to expect from the venue.

Dinner was fabulous. Some of our group have eaten here before, some was the first time. All had a great evening. The steak frites and the flat iron steak were perfect, the MFC and cheeseburgers were thoroughly enjoyed. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Good ambience/decor and good food choices. Good attention from waiting staff when seated and from Olivia when paying the bill. Did felt a bit lost on arrival. But overall a good venue for a casual catch up!

We stayed overnight and ate in the restaurant. Menu had a great choice and included options for dietary requirements. Service was friendly yet professional with a visit from the chef after us asking where the produce was sourced from. Overall highly recommend

I was meeting a friend for lunch We just wanted to catch up and enjoy bite to eat. We chose a starter a a main and it was well presented and delicious. The staff were friendly and we didn’t feel rushed to leave and we had a lovey relaxed catch up. Thank you, we’ll be back.

The food was delicious. They had run out of the roast but the chef was very accommodating and improvised to make us a roast using other meats available. So delish!!
