   My fiancé and I went to the melting pot for her birthday, and we had an absolutely incredible experience!! The food was amazing, the waiter and back end staff were very friendly and helpful, and you absolutely cannot be the price for a night out!! 1000% recommend! We will be going back!!!

   It’s a good thing our phones have flashlights! We needed to use them because it’ was very dark at our table. The service fairly good and the food was very good. Don’t expect a nice dessert for celebrating your birthday though … a 3/4” piece of a brownie with a candle in it just wasn’t what i expected.

   It was a unique dining experience. The service was great with very friendly and helpful staff. The only disappointment I had was with the chocolate fondue at the end of the meal. Ordered the Flaming Turtle which was supposed to be caramel, melted milk chocolate and walnuts but there was no flavour of caramel and the chocolate was not a melted chocolate but dark chocolate syrup which was overly sweet and had a very disappointing flavour.

   We had a nice ladies night out with cheese fondue and chocolate dessert fondue. Our waiter was Brandon and he served us six months ago. He did a fantastic job and shows through his service that he enjoys what he does.

   Haven’t been to and years, or since becoming vegan. I found out recently they have a small vegan menu. We went to celebrate 2 birthdays and the food and experience was very enjoyable. Will be back!

   The place was very loud I had candles and rose peddles the servers were nice but never came by to ask how we were doing. They also didn't ask if we were done our courses. The food was amazing The vibe no so much

   Really great food! We had the big night out, and felt very full at the end. It was an amazing experience. Lighting was almost a little to dim as it made it hard to see some stuff sometimes but did make for a romantic setting.

    What an amazing experience. Food was on point. Our reservation was on time no waiting beyond our time. Every dish was delightful. My wife and I couldn’t believe how amazing everything tasted and paired together. I even mentioned to my wife how nice it was having the high back booth as a sound barrier. You could hear the normal restaurant back ground noise but with high back booth we didn’t have to raise our voices to talk. Our normal voices were more than sufficient. Will definitely plan another date night to go back.

    The Melting Pot was fantastic!!!! Took the wife for her birthday and the service was spectacular. The set up was great, it worked wife was surprised, and she loved it. Good job Melting Pot!!!!!

    My fiancé and I went for our anniversary dinner and we’re so glad we did. Food was amazing, they set up some candles on our table, and we received a complimentary dessert plate with our chocolate fondue. Brandon was our server and he was wonderful! Very helpful, informative, and pleasant to converse with. We will definitely be coming back and would love to have Brandon as our server again! Thanks for the wonderful experience

    Birthday for my best friend, was noted on reservation. No acknowledgement given to her. Georgia the waitress kept forgetting to bring drinks to table and hardly checked in on us. She was pleasant just not attentive. Lejandro best server in the restaurant!! Asked to be seated in his section but hadn’t started shift yet. Also from staff of young gentleman not very customer obsessed. Very meek & mild. This was my least favourite visit to the restaurant and we like to come often and bring out of town visitors with us.

    Was our first time at the Melting Pot and it was amazing!!!! Took 2 hours to complete the 4 courses which was just enough time. Waitress was very helpful ! Definitely will be back:)

    Always love eating here and usually service and ambiance are top notch but it was not the same this time. The salad was brought out before the cheese which was unusual. Service was so so but not amazing like it usually is.

    What a huge disappointment!! Part of the experience in a Fondue restaurant is your service or lack of! Our server did not engage with us at all, he was somewhat rude, forgot about our table 3-4 times and was annoyed everytime we asked for some. It was my Sons 12th birthday and it was not the experience we were looking for at all. $240 for 3 people before a tip and not a smile or any effort at all to make his night special. Shame off him! Normally we love this place but it was definitely not worth it last night

    Feb. 4 2023 We went to celebrate our two birthdays. Our reservation was for 8:00 and we got in on time. We left at 10:30. The restaurant was busy, the staff friendly and our waitress efficient and kind. The food quality was very good and we enjoyed taking our time as enjoyed the four courses. People were quite casually dressed, ( jeans, hoodies,) however I did not feel over dressed in a more formal blouse.

    Server was rude Drinks were slow We sat with no food or drinks for wayyy to long The food made multiple people in our party sick like out both ends sick 😫 Someone also left cell phone behind which some nice people found an went to leave with front staff at melting pot an they refused to hold it 😖later making my friend drive to red deer to get the phone from the people who found it ... why not just keep the phone melting pot???? Anyways thats the jist😑

    We went there to celebrate what would have been our daughter’s 22nd birthday. She was tragically killed in a car accident just before Christmas, and we wanted to acknowledge and honour her birthday at her favourite restaurant. Our server was just amazing and he made the evening even more special by personally buying our drinks. Sending many many thanks for his kindness and sensitivity and a very difficult time. His name was Brandon (sp?). Thank you very much

    Excellent meal and service. We had a private dining area which was quiet and allowed us to celebrate our family member’s birthdays without interruption. It was a first time experience for some of our party who were impressed with the experience. A great time was had by all.

    Our meal was very good; however the service was slow. Our server was very lovely but every time she came to our table she had to apologize for how busy she was. The meal and everything was fantastic but the service could have been better and not so rushed.

    Very happy with the service, this visit. There were 8 of us celebrating our teenage daughter’s birthday with her friends. So 5 were minors. We had a reservation for 6pm, and one of the two tables designated for us(the divider between them drops to turn them into one big table) was still occupied and they were not in a hurry to leave, despite being over the slotted time. The staff were very apologetic, and we figured out alternate arrangements that still allowed us to be close to each other. It worked out better because the kids all sat at one table, which was most important to us. Our waiter and support staff were so good to them and treated them like any other guest, made good suggestions, and made the experience fun and less stressful for us. We had a great time. We do apologize for any extra noise from our area, and for going over our time if 3hrs. We underestimated a few things not related to the restaurant. Getting 5 excitable kids to eat as they visit so that we can manage our time and keep things flowing, was like herding hungry cats…in a room full of mice…and intoxicated with catnip. Keeping the noise level down, especially with several with ADHD…well, we are so sorry for anyone sitting in our area of the restaurant. Not managing more closely what the kids were ordering resulted in us going WAY over budget. Like, we will be eating Mac and Cheese for the next month, over budget. TIP: 1: Listen to the server and take the advice offered. It would have saved us SO much money. 2: Don’t give hungry gremlins the menu and not closely monitor what they order. Man can they eat! We should have had them work off some of the bill by washing dishes! They’re legal to work in Alberta. At least they didn’t waste much. We left an extra large tip, as an unspoken apology for any disruption caused and greatly appreciate the team for not making us feel rushed and we didn’t feel like we were inconveniencing them. A big Thank You!

    Cheese fondue was brought to the table already made. Had way too much wine in the fondue and tasted awful. Service was subpar. The waiter didn’t come check on us and when we needed more complementary dippers they took a long time to come. Quite disappointed.

    Celebrated a family birthday here. Food was good, ambience was okay. Quite expensive but you do get a lot to eat. They brought a complimentary “Anniversary” cake for the family members birthday and never apology, not that the person was upset with it. Is okay for the price of about $100 a person with drinks.
