    The place looked nice, but the server was not very friendly or attentive. The drinks were also way too expensive. Overall, it was not a great experience.

    Great location and view. Limited menu with some items out of stock. Prices are higher than I remembered. Definitely paying for ambiance and view.

    Usually have a great experience here, but today the server wasn’t attentive at all. Maybe she was the only server, but even still she was very attentive to other tables but just kept only glancing at ours. However a big thank you to Thomas for making sure we were okay on her behalf. We just tipped him instead.

    If you get the chance to ask for Brendi, do it! What a great server. Miss Sandra sat us at a great table. Monarch Club is a place like no other. Thank you again for a great pregame experience

    If the rooftop patio isn't open, Monarch isn't really worth the expense: $20 for a cocktail, which tasted good. $20 for burrata, $18 for a flatbread -- both were OK, but the burrata was served with crackers out of a box, and the flatbread crust was akin to school cafeteria pizza. Our server disappeared into the kitchen for more than ten minutes after we asked for a water refill, and the place wasn't full. The patio was wet, so it was closed for "safety reasons." And they were thirty minutes late on getting reservations seated because they hadn't finished reconfiguring the seating after they decided to close the patio.

    Fun celebration night in Detroit. The only real negatives were that the service was pretty slow, and the small bites menu didn’t include any dessert items. Awesome location and uncrowded.

    We sat at the bar - both Courtney & George were attentive, engaging & skilled mixologists. The whitefish spread was tasty. We plan to return on our next Date Night in the city.

    Beautiful setting but the service was absolutely awful. Took 25 minutes to just get water and another 20 to get drinks. Server was rude. We left after one drink and didn’t even order food.
