   There is so much choice on the menu, every palate is catered for. The service is great, happy waiting staff and bar staff. My guests were really impressed with the whole experience.

   Came out birthday meal, very pleasant beer garden in the sunshine. Lots of families. Sadly one of our meals was nearly inedible as chicken was clearly frozen prior to cooking and solid, with some of the sides being cold. Tried to inform staff but unable to get anyone’s attention. Renovation of interior looks great but food and service needs to improve.

   The last time we visited we were disappointed with the quality of the food, since then there has been a change of management and on this occasion the food and service was excellent, the restaurant was quite busy and there was a nice buzz of chatter, I hope the new team continues the good work and we will definitely return to sample more of the new menu, good luck to the new Moorend Spout team.

    Well what a turnaround new management can do! Food was amazing great portion sizes, and the restaurant had a lovely feel to it. My only suggestions are that they have drinks menus on the tables, as you do feel awkward having to ask what beers they have! Slightly bigger spacing between tables. Apart from that we will definitely be coming back and telling people how much it has changed for the better.

    We had a very pleasant meal in the Moorend Spout, Family of five and the staff were very attentive. I think they could do with a few more things on the menu that doesnt involve chips, but thats just my personal oppinion.

    This was a last minute booking. We were hoping they’d have a table for a roast late afternoon, when my sons football match finished. The Moorend Spout was able to accommodate us and satisfy our roast craving! The portions are huge and a real variety of veg along with the meat roasties and Yorkshire puddings! There was only one young girl serving and she appeared rushed off her feet but handled the pressure extremely well and professionally. I think she could of done with some assistance though. Would love to come back and great value for money.

    The Moorend spout has recently changed hands. We used to be regular and were hoping the new owners would maintain the standard. I am pleased to report yes. We have been there a couple of times for Sunday lunch and will go again.

    Lovely food, very enjoyable evening for 4 people. We needed a taxi back to Clevedon for one person and the bar manager said he could arrange and tried to book an Uber for us, he couldn't get one and offered and drove my friend back himself. That is service going over and above what anyone would expect, we were very grateful.

    Excellent service from booking the table to enjoying the meals with great service. We booked for a family Birthday, they were very accommodating & allowed us to decorate the table. The 5-meals ordered were absolutely delicious. The sausage, mash, Yorkshire pudding, gravy & peas was absolutely devine. All the meals were amazing - my husband really enjoyed the ribs. They even presented the Birthday girl with a Birthday cake & candles! She was delighted!! Thank you so much to all the staff at the Moorend Spout!

    Ordered scampi and chips but mushy peas were cold and watery. Obviously not mixed and heated up properly. However, the biscoff pudding was to die for. 100 percent better than last time which had no biscofff. Would have been nice if staff asked if everything was ok with our meal. This is our local which we try to support but always not quite perfect .

    Not a good experience preordered main courses were served promptly and were all ok the problem was with desserts. We were advised a couple of items were unavailable and orders were taken, after at least 10 minutes we were then told there was no vanilla ice cream which a couple of people had ordered. This was stated by the manager/owner with no apology mentioned. When one of our party queried the fact that a fairly basic item was unavailable early in the evening on New Year’s Eve the response was defensively aggressive with still no sorry being said. Upon paying the bill I politely mentioned to the manager I felt her response had been aggressive when she should have more apologetic. The only answer I got was Ok. Not what expect from hospitality.. As a result this establishment has lost 6 local customers

    Since refurbishment we’d heard mixed reviews. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised. The pub has been nicely updated. Food was mixed. Lovely king prawns and battered fish but chips and sauce cold. To be fair the only serving staff member did try but wasn’t up to it. I had to fetch our cutlery and condiments. Unfortunately probably won’t go back. Just 2 many options in the area where service and food are both good but most importantly they are consistent

    Food was great. Staff friendly and Service good on arrival, but once main course eaten staff seemed to forget us re sweet or coffee etc. there were only 3 other tables so not busy.

    The starters were lovely the main was a microwave lasagne with some crumbs sprinkled on top and made to look like it was homemade The chips were cold and the onion rings under cooked Staff lovely Wine selection great Get the food right and it’ll be a lovely place !

    Our first visit to the Moorend Spout since the change of management – and it was absolutely perfect. We booked a table for six for our Sunday roast – and everything from the welcome to the service to the food itself was perfect. Reasonably priced, cooked to perfection and with generous portions, we all had a lovely time.

    It was very cold in the restaurant (no heating) my lasagne was delicious but my friends had the butternut squash ravioli which was very disappointing they were offered another meal and one of them had fish and chips which was good, the other refused another meal. The staff were excellent and they were not charged for their meals. Uncomfortable eating with our coats on - you need to make sure it’s warm.

    Went for Sunday Roast, was very nice, fresh veg, good Yorkshires, beef was a little tough but last visit beef was lovely, yummy desserts, sharing cookie dough with ice cream was very nice
