I was expecting something more from a supposed "gastropub". My Cesar salad came with a "couple of fries inside..... One of the plate on the menu was not available after my request, should be declared before the choice! The appetizers good. Btw I was expecting something more, I even cancelled another booking for this one :(

we asked for bread and oil as a shared appetiser but it did not turn up. The roast chicken dinner had good veg but both the roast potatoes and yorkshire pudding were really greasy and therefore not very appetising. The burger that my son had was tasty but he said there were not enough skinny fries. Very disappointed for the price and would not go there again as overall not good value.

Being a fairly regular customer, usually for main menu, having a roast for the 1st time on recommendation I was extremely disappointed with it. The beef was tough and fatty, the roast potatoes were hardly roasted as still being a beige colour, so not a choice next time !! I did mention to the barman and then to the lady who gave us our bill with 20% off.

Fantastic food every time we visit, if anything it gets better. The service was amazing, managing all our fussy orders and the food was delicious, clean plates all round. I highly recommend the food at Moorfields which some may say is expensive but I think it’s completely worth the money.

Unfortunately food has definitely gone down hill from last time we visited. The beef was fatty and couldn't cut it. The roast potatoes were rock hard couldn't get a knife through them and nothing in middle. Yorkshire pud wasn't as nice as last time, felt reheated. Disappointed espec6when charging nearly £20 for a meal.

As a regular customer, for the first time I was dismayed by the presence of a dog almost the size of a donkey yapping then jumping on the owner's seating trying to snatch food off their table. Once back on the floor it then cocked it's leg and tried to wee on the potted plant next to the table!

I have known this place for many years in a number of guises. Second visit as an upmarket pub. Surprisingly busy on a Monday lunchtime and the food, service was very good.

A lovely place to meet up with family and friends for a nice, reasonably priced, meal that is served by really delightful and efficient staff. If you want a quieter place then the dinning room is good or you can eat the same food in the bar for a more 'lively' experience🙂 If the weather's okay the outside area is cracking too as it's comfortable and is also non-smoking.

This was our first time dining at the Moorfields Pub. The service was very good and the food was lovely, very tasty and reasonably priced to. The Moorfields has a lovely ambience and was quiet when we visited. Just how we like it! Lovely to dine somewhere where the music isn't blaring!!

Your ‘noise level’ signs are unclear - normally things get ‘better’ reading from left to right - but I do not think that is what you mean with the increasing steps. The noise level was low - good.

We ordered 2 Sunday lunches and a fish and chips from the children’s menu - we all really enjoyed our meals, desserts were also top notch. Nice buzzy atmosphere and staff were all very friendly.

My wife and I were greeted by the staff and, although the pub/restaurant was pretty full, we were made to feel special. It was our Wedding Anniversary, and we were given a glass of bubbly each "on the house". The food came quickly and was beautifully prepared. Every morsel was a treat. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal and everything about it. Thank you
