WELCOME TO THE MULE.

We’re not your traditional Mexican place. We just happen to think that tacos are a dish best served fun, with a side of liquor. Welcome to The Mule, where tacos, tequila and bourbon come to play.

Located in one of Cambridge's most treasured spaces, we think we’ll be your new favourite lunch spot, your regular late-night haunt and your go-to destination for a good drink. Our bartenders have crafted a bourbon- and tequila-focused cocktail menu that will surprise and fascinate, and we also have a variety of beers on tap.

And don’t forget the food. From baja wings to Brussels Sprouts tacos, chef Matthew Kershaw’s menu offers an approachable and fresh twist on your favourite flavours from way down south. Our tacos range from classic Mexican to weird-and-wild-you’ve-gotta-try-this. All of our food is 100% gluten-free and we offer a variety of fare that is sure to delight your vegetarian and vegan side.

    The tacos are a bit expensive but okay. Being able to order individual tacos is a cool idea as sometimes you might just need a little snack. The place has a "what if a food truck was a restaurant" feel. It's definitely a younger crowd, but the 80s movies playing in the background was fun. The music was loud, but not memorable. We checked in at the front, but didn't get checked in for our reservation (but OpenTable straightened it out with no intervention on our part).

    Outrage server was great. Friendly. Super attentive( it was stupid busy). Food was fresh, fast and well presented. Love this place.

    Great atmosphere but I would rate it at a low value because of the small quanity of food for the price. Small expensive tacos!

We do offer our tacos a la carte so that our guests can enjoy as many, or as few, as they desire. The cost of fresh, quality ingredients has risen substantially over the past few years, a struggle we have all had to face. We do actively work to keeps costs as low as possible.
