We were thrilled to find out The Mule opened in Port Dover. We love the food at the Hamilton location and we were not disappointed. I wish they were open all year round but I can appreciate the seasonal aspect of Port Dover. We will definitely go back. The servers were friendly and helpfu.

Service was impeccable. Food was amazing. I didn't get sick afterwards! Fully appreciate the 100% GF kitchen. Some GF options at other restaurants still wind up getting cross-contaminated and while everyone does their best, I feel very confident I'll be returning to The Mule (or any of their locations).

Excellent tacos & choices & can modify to your tastes. They are pricey…but nothing is inexpensive anymore. Guac needed salt and lemon or lime, we found it bland. Would probably skip appetizers next time & just go back for drinks and tacos. Service was friendly and pretty quick, no issues other than a forgotten drink (it happens!) thank you

Excellentnt tacos and margaritas! We were able to sit on the patio with our dog which was also nice as it’s off the busier Main Street, so vehicle traffic/noise isn’t as pervasive.

Had a great mother daughter dinner at The Mule. The brussel sprout tacos were delicious. Highly recommend. Such a great vibe with attentive, friendly staff. We will be back for a marg & taco or two!

We were very disappointed.... thought we were at a Mexican food restaurant... not so. Only soft shell tacos available... not even chips and salsa. Very much over-priced. This restaurant could be so much more....

They ran out of quacamole at 7pm on a Friday night. Not impressed. Servers seem frantic. We waited 30mins before getting our order for 2 people. Seems like they need to be better organized. The service is inconsistent- sometimes it’s good, sometimes not great, like on busy nights.

The only reason I didn't give full marks is that portions are small. You're going to need to spend more than anticipated to leave not still hungry but everything we had was very, very good.

Found Karaoke during the dinner hour very loud and distracting. Not enjoyable...especially on Father's Day with a family out for dinner and unable to even have a conversation it was so loud and the singing often so awful :(((( Otherwise, food and staff were amazing.

Awesome first visit to The Mule in Port Dover! Fries supreme & wings were delish & we tried all nine tacos & all nine were fantastic! As a newly diagnosed celiac I love, love, love that everything is gluten free & safe for me to eat with no worry about cross contamination. Our server Megan was terrific too! We've already booked back in for next time we're in Dover to go to theatre!
