This was an anniversary dinner for two couples. We had heard good things about the Inn and were not disappointed. The room was beautiful and inviting. The service friendly and knowledgeable. The bread starter was warm and delicious. The scallop appetizer savoury and tender. Our friends raved about their beet appetizer as well. The meat on the short ribs fell off the bone into its rich sauce. The vegetable dishes were subtle and satisfying. Paired with a local wine we haven’t seen anywhere else and capped off with expresso and a dark chocolate dessert. It was the perfect end to our visit to Naramata. Looking forward to next time!

Elevated comfort food dishes in a beautiful dining room. The incorporation of local ingredients is commendable but the main dishes we tried lacked refinement. Big flavours (savoury, acidic) were noted in the duck dish that unfortunately overwhelmed the essence of the duck at the same time. I would stick to their extensive wine list as the several cocktails we got that night were inconsistent.

Great ambience and food. However, the blue dining chairs are too low, uncomfortable, and too deep to lean back on. There are more appropriate for a living room not a dining room. I hope that they can be changed so guests are more comfortable, especially us, seniors.

Food and service were outstanding, however started out with seating at the table near doorway where all guests passing by but told no other table other than outside - (touch chilly)available despite our early 5 pm res. Advised that a special request could be made on Open Table for table choice ????. Very personable staff. Checked menu before arrival and zoned in on seafood chowder.... a definite winner. Good chunks of fish and superb flavour. Could have been a meal in itself with fresh bresh a perfect match. Chose the sablefish after asking guidance from Efram our waiter and was very impressed. Delicate, juicy and nicely presented on celeriac puree and brussel sprouts. Would have again in a heartbeat. Pairing with Lariana Viognier from Osoyoos was ideal. Atmosphere is upper scale historic. A definite return choice. Would have been 5 star except for seating.

Ned Bell, Kate Colley and team are creating a magical, meaningful and definitely memorable dining experience at The Naramata Inn. We celebrated my brother and sister in laws 25th wedding anniversary there and it will be a night they remember forever. My meal, the Field & Forest was to die for, all local, roast vegetables with Romesco sauce. It’s as special a dish for plant based diners as all other choices, which is rare. I did add the Oceanwise wild BC side striped shrimp and they were so tasty! Local Naramata wine choices abound and we went with Amelia from Daydreamer Winery. I can not recommend highly enough and urge everyone who can splurge make it their special night out. With your patronage, Ned is supporting the community and creating solutions to climate change.

The location and historic building makes you think that it’s going to be an amazing food experience but it’s not. Was only told that they had a special Thanksgiving giving menu a few hours before my reservation, to me this was disappointing as I was looking to try their regular menu and in such short notice I couldn’t find somewhere else to book. My main course dinner was the beef rib, the sauce was full of salt and all I could taste is salt. My wife’s Turkey was not warm enough and the Turkey had no taste. The Brussels sprouts were supposed to caramelized but they weren’t and were uncooked. The Cheesecake was salty instead of sweet. Overall disappointing.
Our lunch selections were abundant and delicious - creatively presented - and the service was professional and upbeat!

We drove 60 km from Osoyoos to the Naramata Inn for lunch on a friends recommendation, we were not disappointed. The seafood chowder was the very best we have ever had, and we have eaten chowder in NZ, France, England and Eastern Canada. The server David was very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend.
