You have outdone yourselves.. It was a perfect evening from the front desk greeting, superb server ID 1743 was extremely knowledgeable with service, food and beverage ideas. Food was slowly eaten and savoured. Thank you
Could not come back mostly because of the noise level, very uncomfortable, perhaps shut the radio or cd off? $1 for water?? and $15 for a glass of wine, wow, too much. Flavor on food was great, the chicken in my rissotto was really gristly, I think had 2 small bites of chewable chicken, not pleasant to have to pull chicken pieces out of one's mouth to set aside. Sorry
One of my favorite restaurants in Calgary. Limited menu choices at lunch which is good because each item is guaranteed to be amazing.
Excellent as always! Dinner and environment was supurb!
A picture speaks a thousand words? The Nash went further.
Great service, exceptional food, wonderful decor.
Wonderful experience, as always! Thanks again for an enjoyable evening ♥️
Food was awesome. Service is great. Was a fantastic experience.
Excellent food and the wait staff were really friendly and knowledgeable.....
Great staff and venue. The food isn’t as good as is used to be. Definitely not worth the price point anymore.
Overall great food with large portions but the price is a little high for some items .
Would do get with an happy hour menu.
Fantastic service! It was my partners birthday and the hosts and server knew. He also got a candle with dessert. Would return, the food was diviiiiiine.
Daniel took care of us and made some perfect recommendations. He is exceptional at what he does! The food was amazing! Creative. Well prepared. Sumptuous. Timely. We enjoyed the prime rib and half chicken and finished with the blood orange creme brûlée. Yum! Cocktails were well made and worth another round!
The vibe was lively but not overly loud. Everyone looked to be enjoying themselves.
Was very good experience all around. Place was very busy and full but the service was exceptional. The menu is very basic but offered something for everyone. Had the special prime rib and was cooked to perfection. Would recommend but not for a quiet date. Very lively place.
Our server was thoughtful and attentive. The food was fantastic and we were tucked away. I appreciate the designated parking spot. I will recommend Nash to anyone that asks were to go.
Our first night out at a good resto in Calgary since March 2020. two couples who hadn't gotten together in two years. We had lots to catch up on which made ordering a challenge. Our server was patient, generous and generally fabulous. If she had checked with me I would have ordered a glass of wine with dinner. The 'bread' and the two dips were so good that we filled up on it, which made dinner a bit of work. The bolognese with pappardelle, the mussels and the sablefish with celeriac were superb. The risotto could have use more mushroom flavour. Sablefish would be improved by fewer veg, and at least a sprig of something green. The lemon tart would doo for two. Cherry ice cream was good. Despite these quibbles, it was a great night, largely due to the superb service.
Great atmosphere and food. Vegan dish was good but expensive for what you get. Pecan pie was amazing!
Great food and service as always! Never disappoints at The Nash.
Very good service in a nicely renovated, long established Calgary location.
Our first Sunday Dinner at The Nash was awesome! The three course event started with an amazing beet salad. The main was both beef tenderloin and crusted pickerel with asparagus and squash and what I think was carrots or sweet potato. Everything was awesome. My only wish was the for dessert to be more simple, less creamy and over the top. It would be great if you could offer a simple sorbet as a choice. The quantity of the food was also excellent. It was also a bonus that the room was less crowded and not noisy. Service was great as well. The room is cold imho. We found it to be so on both visits. Not recommended to sit near a window in the cold weather.
Dinner for 2, Sunday special was outstnding! The chef prepares the steak perfect. Sides and deserts, delisous. Good price for high quality food and generous serving size. If you want a really nice dining experience go here.
Sable fish was amazing and yam-steak plus chickpea fritter was a delight for my vegan partner. Great to see some vegan options on menu of better restaurants
Outstanding food, great service. Found myself having to lean in to converse.
Always great food & cocktails!
The Nash was exceptional. Food was amazing and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be returning. The only knock I would have on our dining experience was that there was no recognition of our anniversary which we had booked and indicated in the reservation.
All of the staff was incredibly friendly. Wasn’t wowed by either of the meals my fiancé and I shared.
Great as usual. Doesn’t disappoint
Amazing as always…great atmosphere and delicious food!
Delicious! Would definitely recommend
I have been here a few times now and it is always amazing
Amazing flavours and spot on preparation of each plate. Jon made our visit even better with his warm personality, impeccable service, and great menu recommendations.
I look forward to my next visit.
Incredible experience. In addition to great food, wine and ambience, the service was the best part. We had a great dinner and will be back again.
Food was great and the service was excellent.
Amazing food and great atmosphere, sometime gets a little loud but really not that bad, overall great experience and incredible food with great service
Always a great dining experience at the Nash. Food, wine and service were all amazing!
Amazing service, delicious food, wonderful atmosphere
Excellent overall experience.
Only have one small criticism: the portion size; I felt the main was a bit too big in conjunction with appetizers (shared 2 between 3 of us.)
I would highly recommend The Nash to any of my friends and family.
Staff were all extremely friendly, and a good time was had by all.
I really want to like The Nash. The location is great and it is beautiful inside. I am convinced it is much better for dinner as we had a perfect evening there a few years back. But, sadly lunch on Saturday had some not so good elements. The server seemed to dislike us and didn't like it when my friends corrected her when she call us (2 middle aged females) "guys". Then she corrected my pronciation of "poke" and put a French accent on it (seriously). We both ordered the salade niçoise and coffee. The tuna was amazing, perfectly seared and could not have been more delicious. What almost ruined the dish was that it was ice cold...like it had been pre-prepared and stored in an ice box. And, it came with skin on, boiled ice cold potatoes...no seasoning, just like potatoes you would keep in the fridge and make home fries from another day. When asked how our dish was we mentioned this (do you actually want feedback from customers?) and the server told us that is how a Niçoise salad is always made. While not rude, it came close. I guess as a server she knew more than either of us who have actually eaten well prepared food and are not novice cooks. So that was our experience at The Nash. Still want to like it, but it will not be easy.
Was offered sparking or still water. We always take still as it is generally free, little to know we got changed on the bill for WATER??
Server dropped a piece of food in one of the water glasses and did not even care to replace it, we would have asked for a fresh glass if we knew we were paying for the water.
