Excellent choice for a birthday dinner. Food was amazing and so was the atmosphere. Will definitely be eating here again the next time I visit Calgary.
My boyfriend and I love this restaurant! It is our favourite place to go on date night
Another great meal at The Nash.
For anyone looking for upscale home cooking this is the place to go
We love The Nash and its staff! They always make us feel welcome and the food is always amazing.
We went for Mother’s Day brunch. As usual, the food and drinks were fantastic. And our server was great too; right on top of things the whole time and very pleasant. I made reservations several weeks in advance, however, so I was disappointed that they squeezed three adults at a two-top table right beside the bathroom. Especially as two, nearby four-top tables opened up within a few minutes of us sitting down and stayed open for quite a while. Later, they sat just two people at one of those four-tops. But there we were, eating beside the bathroom lineup. When I arrived, the hostess seemed to take quite a while scrolling through her iPad to find my reservation with a look of concern on her face; a reservation that I did have and had confirmed. It was an uncomfortable welcome on a busy Mother’s Day, thinking they didn’t have my reservation for a minute. So needless to say, there were some details that would have made the day more enjoyable. But overall it was nice and I will return on a less busy day.
Hard to justify a $300 dinner (for 3.5) when we were sitting in the middle of the room (very very cramped) and the service, ambiance and food were just “ok”. Won’t be returning as there are so many other restaurants that provide a much better overall experience.
I would, but very over priced. Ambiance and service was very good.
Another great visit. We have made a habit of coming here for Sunday brunch for a reason. The food is excellent; the service is excellent. Thank you for making our visits so enjoyable!
The service was terrible, I had my food dumped on me by the server and not replaced and was charged full price for the meal. We ordered drinks which they were out of the ingredients and was brought something else and charged full price. We did complain although we mentioned these things to the server after we paid and were told that if we complained and made a big deal out of it we would have then received a little discount.
Waitress seemed to want to rush us out after dinner, did not ask if we wanted anything more and cleared everything off the table as if to say it was time to go. There was no one waiting at the door so not sure what her rush was to get us out.
Possibly the worst salad I have ever had. My husband and I split the $20 BRASSICA SALAD. It was bitter, the salad dressing was below average, not a lot of flavor. If the chef needs a good salad dressing recipe I can provide a better one.
Food is:delicious, portions are good. We then enjoyed some live music after dinner at Off Cut Bar 😉.
Excellent food. Prices reasonable for the quality. Would go again.
Great service and food was excellent as usual! Highly recommend The Nash!
Niki was a fantastic server. We had a really lovely time there. The food melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend the Waygu beef and the Arctic Char. We will definitely be going back.
Food and service were outstanding. It is a little noisy but most busy restaurants are noisy!
Awesome experience. We had received a gift certificate for our 25th anniversay and finally made it. We went for lunch and had a wonderful time. Our server was lovely, went out of her way to make our experience memorable. My husband is a vegetarian and they were able to accomodate his needs. It would be nice to have more vegetarian options, it is pretty meat heavy. Regardless our food was delicious and we will definitely be back again.
Our food was terrific, and the service was excellent!
Went to the off-cut bar for a burger and a cocktail before a Jazz concert. Lively environment, good food, eclectic crowd.
We had a lovely birthday dinner for 2. The burger was delicious but messy. The duck was so good!
We love coming here for everyday and special occasion dining.
Complimentary desert for my wife’s birthday dinner was greatly appreciated. Good food. Excellent service. Background noise a little loud. Overall a very good experience!
First time going there. Food was extremely delicious, big portions too. Would recommend splitting the plates. Great service as well. Will definitely be going back
The food and service was incredible. We felt very well taken care of, without feeling bombarded or rushed. 10/10 would recommend
Overall a positive experience. I have sent our Managers here also for lunch and they too have enjoyed their experience. There's free parking for lunch time Guests, in the back lot - nice touch for Inglewood area! My only other feedback would be to ensure that Open Table requests are "Confirmed" promptly when the Guests have actually dined in the Restaurant for their requested time and space. I have had to follow up with past reservations just to ensure they have the correct information so that the points reflect on my Account immediately. Although you take the initiative to call their line to confirm that you did indeed dine there, they'll tell you it's an Open Table matter and to take it up with Customer Service. In which case, I have done and then had shortly been resolved. This is easily preventable by just confirming the reservation once the Guests have arrived.
Cool fact: their Sister Company is "Notable"! Both great places, similar but yet different!
Food was good but not outstanding and expensive
The Nash is back on the top of my list for brunch places in the city. Amazing food (at a great price), attentive service, nice ambiance, easy parking, and a consistent experience. It's not hard to talk myself into the Nash when I think of prices at lower end restaurants and pubs and the difference you see in service and food. It's a no brainer for special occasions (it's beautiful - bright, great natural lighting), and for a small or large group. Highly recommend.
Fun place. Really great service. Some dishes are a bit pricey but overall the food is amazing!
Very nice Sunday brunch. Wait staff are delightful.
Went with two friends and my 8 year old for brunch. My friends ordered breakfast items, which looked great. There is no kids menu so my son had their must-have cinnamon bun. The cinnamon bun was gigantic! Definitely something should be a shared item on the table. I had their poke bowl. It tasted good except a bit too much source to me.
The Nash was a great spot for a good meal. Great service. The restaurant decor is cozy, and I like that they honor the space's history. The food was wonderful. I would highly recommend this spot for a special occasion!
The Nash is the best restaurant in Calgary. Their rotisserie chicken ravioli is made by elf magic. I’ve never had ravioli where the pasta is so thin and delicate. Another must have are their mussels in a curry broth- simply amazing!
Amazing food, creative compositions, ambience and decor is upscale casual
Very attentive staff. Awesome kitchen view. Amazing food !
Great brunch. Server wasn’t amazing but everything else made up for it. Will definitely come back and look forward to it!
Fantastic food! Mussels and fries were delish. Loved the mustard sauce that came with. My son said the pastrami sandwich was yummy and my daughter loved the steelhead Benedict! Service was excellent. I've sat at the bar for cocktails before and quite enjoyed watching & the interaction with the chef. Will be going there regularly!
Our food was amazing! My Mom had a chicken dish which I normally wouldn’t be too excited about but it was absolutely delicious. The waiter was very lovely and attentive. He chose a delicious wine for us and gave my Mom a spice jar with the chicken rub to take home! Thank you The Nash for yet another amazing supper!
It’s a must see and eat it in Calgary
