    The only complaint I have really is that as an adult I was not allowed to order myself a children’s Sunday dinner so ended up having an adults meal and leaving most of it as there was too much there. I can’t manage an adults portion.

    The staff were very good, attentive and friendly, the food was excellent, I would have given them 5 stars but the nann bread was slightly over cooked, I personally don't mind it a bit crispy, the lamb rogan josh was beautifull, and the prices are very reasonable.

    Haven’t ever eaten here before so decided to give it a try after seeing the menu. It has plenty of options to cater all tastes and is reasonably priced. The portion sizes are generous and the food was beautiful and served piping hot. The staff were friendly and attentive even despite how busy it was in there when we went, we all enjoyed our food and can’t wait to eat here again in future.

    Excellent service, food and price. They have a varied menu with plenty of choice to suit all tastes and serve proper chips that are devine. A great outdoor space for when the weather permits. Plenty of parking and easy to find. The staff are friendly and professional. I highly recommend.

    I tried to tell the waiter that there was a problem with the telephone line, constantly engaged from 3p.m. until 5p.m. He said that it must have been busy with people calling. It made no difference to me as I then booked online, but they may have lost business.

    We had a perfect evening…food was gorgeous, very large portions! Staff were brilliant we never even had to ask for a drink they were on hand to top up our glasses 👌🏻a lovely evening with friends. Thank you 😊

    I love the menu, however I rely on the chips being Gluten Free, as not many places cater for this. So this time I was very disappointed as the fryer had been used for Gluten containing food.

    pleasant place to have dinner, it was fairly busy but didnt have to wait long for the food. Staff pleasant and didnt bother visiting the table once the food was served. Food was quite good as pub food goes and this is our third visit over the last 3 months and will return on a monthly basis

    Had bottomless brunch for my granddaughters 18th birthday. 3course meal plus all you can drink in 90 minutes. Service and food were 1st class, really enjoyed it and will be going back

    Booking online was easy. Table was as requested. Staff friendly & professional Service from was COURTNEY 5* Food arrived hot and was tasty, cooked to perfection. Great value for money. Have been here a few times for lunch and will go again. Would definitely recommend to others

    Had roast dinner. Good portion but absolutely no taste. Very bland. Roast and Yorkshire pudding and stuffing seemed frozen ones. Unfortunately Wouldn't go again for roast dinner.

    I have been a loyal customer of the Ivy House for many years and have sung it's praises to friends and family on countless occasions but with sadness I must be honest about my experience yesterday evening 14th July '23. It was appalling! Staff and floor service as usual were faultless. However my choice from menu 'Black Country Stack' was beyond appalling. The first presentation of my meal was burnt to a cinder. Chops & black pudding! It was returned. The second meal was shy of acceptable with still a dry over cooked chop on top with the 2 same burnt slices of black pudding hidden between what I believe was the best of the 2 returned chops!? I couldn't and wouldn't eat it! It was again returned. The lovely loyal waitresses couldn't apologise enough and deducted it from my bill. At £12 it is not cheap. All I request is no more but definitely no less than what is on the menu and of course what I paid for. The skill of your 'chef' is very questionable. This is very basic food preparation and cooking. I'm not sure whether I'd return... ???

    Family of four booked online for Sunday lunch… first ever visit after a family member recommended. Table was available on arrival, clean and laid out ready. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere. Food was beautiful, drinks ice cold couldn’t ask for anymore. Will definitely visit again .

    Although perhaps the place needs a lick of paint and decorating, our overall experience was good, food very good service good so 8/10 only let down by decor. Will definitely return, great value and great food !!!
