The Castlegar Golf Club, nestled in the majestic Selkirk mountains, provides a spectacular setting for a game of golf, a great meal and beverage or a social gathering. Open to the public whether golfing or not. Golfing? Grab a meal before or after your round, or a quick drink or snack at the turn, the Nineteenth is the perfect location.
Re-opened in April 2017 by local restauranteur Florio Vassilakakis with a fresh menu, name and look. We look forward to seeing you this season. Reservations for larger groups recommended.

Beautiful view from the deck. We were greeted by a friendly and smiling hostess/server. She was attentive and did a good job of serving us.
Still one one of the most creative restaurants in our valley, and always fresh, well-crafted dishes. I also felt like they really put a premium on keeping patrons and staff safe.
I love this restaurant for the great service and value - not to mention the unbelievable food. It is so sad when it closes every year after the golf season, so we'll try to make it before that happens.
The 19th burgers were great. Service was excellent.
While the food may have taken a little longer than expected, the quality and flavour was exceptional. In hindsight I would have asked for the kids meals to be served first. Otherwise a great experience.

Went on Friday night for fish and chips, got there at 6:45 p.m., but the time we got our food it was 7:45 p.m., then we only got part of our order. There was a mix up in the kitchen and our second pieces of fish came 10 minutes later. Overall the food was quite good, but the service left something to be desired. The crowd was declining as we waited, so don't understand the delays in getting the food prepared.
We are very apologetic for the experience you had at our establishment. We were very busy that evening with eat-in and take out and because of the moment we are in, we try and weave both orders in. One hour is certainly much longer than what we target and we apologize. We hope that you might come and give us another chance to wow you.
First time eating here and definitely will go back. Food was delicious and service was great.

There was 7 in our group....although we had to sit at two tables, everything else was perfect. There were 7 different meals and every dish was amazingly delicious. Thank you
We had an absolutely awesome dinner at the Nineteenth! It was our 1st time dining out with our 2 young kids since the pandemic started over 4 months ago, and I really appreciated all the efforts they’ve done to adhere to the guidelines set out by health officials. Our table was very clean, our menus were single use, there was a hand sanitizer at every doorway (not just the entrance), and many other precautions taken that I noticed by our server. I work in healthcare, so taking all efforts to prevent the spread of covid-19 is priority to our family. It’s great to know that we can go out on occasion as a family, and get such excellent service and great food! Thanks George, Florio, and Nineteenth staff!

The food was amazing! I had the curry prawn and pasta feature dish and could taste all the different spices used in the sauce.

My favourite restaurant in Castlegar. Everyone is always satisfied with their meal and the view on the patio is amazing.

Made reservations for 5pm, no waiting, waitress/hostess was attentive, friendly and helpful. Food was fresh and flavorful. Prices were reasonable and surroundings were beautiful (our table was outside on patio). Highly recommend.
Was very busy with Fathers Day and a lot of take out orders so food took considerably longer to arrive than normal. It could have been communicated a bit better to let us know. Once food arrived it was fine. We’ve been back since and it hasn’t taken as long so I would suspect this was just a one off experience.
All four of us enjoyed out meal! I love the lemon grass chicken while my husband likes the ribs. Our friend ordered the prime rib special which he said was excellent. The only complaint was not enough gravy/jus.

We had a wonderful lunch the Nineteenth. Their daily special was a great deal! Friendly, attentive staff and lots of room between tables. Can't wait to go when the weather is warmer so we can sit on the deck and enjoy the view.

The Nineteenth is our favorite place to eat. The food is always amazing and the staff are cheerful and attentive. Great daily specials too!
Excellent menu with very good choices and service is great also. Reservations recommended as space is now limited at this time and that ensures that they know you are coming. You do not have to be a golf club member to eat at the restaurant and in warm weather you can sit in balcony and enjoy the view also.
