We had an excellent meal and service!! Our experience last year (ate twice) wasn’t fantastic so we were a bit skeptical; BUT this experience redeemed our love of this restaurant again!!

We had the best dinner here of our 3-day stay in Cape Cod. We drove from Chatham to Dennis Port hoping for a good meal with views and were not disappointed. My husband ordered sea bass and I had the scallops and both were perfection. The peach sorbet (with an anniversary chocolate) was delicious too and my cocktail was amazing. Will come back again if we are in the area.

Staff were excellent at the outside bar and inside. The reception staff kindly told our friends we were waiting for them outside at the bar. I appreciated their awareness! The prices are very high but I also understand your paying for the view, which is priceless !

Very enjoyable evening…..Wendy our server was superb. Helpful with suggestions, attentive and very friendly. Started with hot buttered lobster dumplings with blood orange syrup to dip.The better half had blackened swordfish with Meyer Beurre Blanc and a Piment d’Espelette crust……and it was thick and delicious. I had the 16 oz Frenched bone-in ribeye with a heavy peppercorn crust and very tasty umani compound butter…a real treat. For dessert we went a little crazy and ordered their Summer Flight but Grande not Petite….which meant two of everything !….Sweet soy caramel, crème brûlée, lemon yuzu bars, mudslide tiramisu, spumoni ice cream truffles and finally strawberry cheesecake wontons. People in the next table just stared at us in amusement. And then…..we had two Irish coffees with Jameson. What a dinner……we will be back. Thank you again Wendy for being such a great host.

I come once a year to the area and absolutely love coming to this restaurant. The menu is always different, creative, amazing combination of flavors and has maintained quality, service and high standard for an industry that is changing and declining so much after the pandemic. As long as I continue to come to the Cape, and they continue to amaze me, I’ll continue making reservations, enjoying and recommend The Ocean House.

Unbelievable location directly on Nantucket Sound with views from every table. Delicious food and service was unbelievable. Ordered the Sea Bass which was outstanding.

Food, as always was great. Been coming for years. Great atmosphere and staff. Our waiter, Christian was fabulous! Maybe on the expensive side but you get what you pay for.
