   restaurant was maybe 25% full, but the three of us (ie., not a big party) were seated in the back, right next to the kitchen. Waiting staff walking by our table constantly, dishes clanking, isolated table. Horrible experience

   Service was very slow, waited almost an hour for food. Wait staff was complaining about the time and apologizing constantly. Were informed that there was only one cook and a full restaurant!

   We had a fabulous meal at the Original Cottage Inn. We visited after graduation and all had great meals. The pizza and pasta was delicious and our waitress was so kind. It was a perfect place to celebrate. The pomegranate martini is so yummy!

    Decent food but not everyone in our party received their food at the same time. One order was delayed 10-15 min. and arrived when everyone else was half done. Appeared to be short-staffed and as a result, service was poor.

    placed on second floor. we had a couple people with ambulation issues. Would have been better if we were given the option to select floor. There was a option to use a elevator. Food was good with reasonable price.

    Coffee was cold, never offered a refill. Service was slow and seemed the waitress didn’t know the menu, chef came out and asked a specific question about one of our entrees. I ordered the chicken with goat cheese, broccoli was cold (menu said broccolini but it was reg broccoli, also said with garlic butter, there was non) mashed potatoes were barely warm and chicken was luke warm. Cottage Inn is one of our favorites, this visit was disappointing.

    The restaurant was jampacked and understaffed. Our server was wonderful, but had way too many tables to manage. The food was mediocre at best. The Cottage Inn should do better!

    Went here with a party of 4 when dropping our son off at UMich. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. They were short-staffed but our waitress was super friendly. We appreciated that she took the time to tell us they were short staffed. Despite that, we don't believe we had to wait too long for our food. Appetizer and drinks came out quickly. Pizza was great. The Eggplant parmesan was delicious. Good portions. Good prices. I would go here again.

    We could not keep our reservation. There was no parking meters available for miles. We were unable to keep our reservation because of Ann Arbor’s poor parks ng conditions.

    In Ann Arbor for a wedding and went to the restaurant for a nostalgia visit. As good as I remembered. One diner has celiac disease and they dealt with it appropriately.

    Our server Justin was attentive and wonderful. The food was fantastic, kitchen was very fast and our drinks were out quickly as well. Definitely a nice spot to enjoy some pizza before a night on the town.

    Average restaurant experience. Our food order was inaccurate, and it was very infrequent that we saw our server. No drink refills were offered, and no discount on our tab for all the mistakes with our food.

    the wait staff was less than expected. We asked what came with the Easter Brunch and got information that indicated that drinks were included (coffee, pop, Mimosa). This was a unexpected increase to our bill. She provided no refills on coffee. Did not bring us items asked for and there was no salt or pepper on the table. And we could not ask for it. Because of these issues the bill was high in comparison to the food we ate and thus we will not be back.

    Requested no high top table and was seated at high top table. Received very little service from waitress. Waitress was ask for some forks and never appeared with them. Every time waitress walked and asked for something she kept saying she right back and never showed back to the table.

    The best that can be said is that I had an edible meal. I had a reservation, but was shown to a table in a passageway between two open kitchen areas--which could be heard and smelled, as I were in the 'back rooms' of the restaurant--which I refused. I was seated at a different table after complaining, but the service, while friendly, was inept: all courses arrived at the same time. This is a landmark place patronized by students, but the patron's behavior around me was juvenile and intrusive. It was not a pleasant meal.

    We had reservations but were stuck at a bar table and honestly they didn’t really seem to care Food and service was good but I probably won’t go back. This was a special outing for my daughter’s bday and I was disappointed with how we were treated by hostess and manager

    As usual, we had a lovely evening at the Cottage Inn. It was a quiet Wednesday night, so there was plenty of room to accommodate everyone. I’m a little concerned with the redesign of the space what it’s going to be like on a crowded night. I’m hoping you didn’t give up too much space to accommodate your guest.

    In this stressful time in the hospitality industry, Cottage Inn is meeting the challenge. The waitstaff was welcoming and accommodating for our party of eight . Our waiter, Travis was very attentive. The food was delicious. We did not feel rushed. A great experience for my birthday dinner.

    They randomly closed their restaurant for 2 days. White sign posted on the door said their employees needed a break. Maybe they’d been busy during the Art Fair? But to neglect notifying people of this status when we have a reservation? I will never attempt to eat here again.
