    Very nice place, great ambiance but extremely low service and the stuff didn’t know the menu, they were double checking all the time

    I felt the decor needs updating. We sat in a corner table with half chairs and half sofa. The sofas were so soft you sank in and made you sit so low at the table it was so strange and uncomfortable.

    Went with another couple and shared charcuterie, cheese plate, chicken wings and fois gras brûlée. Enjoyed our food subject to the following comments. The file gras comes with three small blinis which were insufficient for the serving of fois gras. Some bread, crackers or more blinis would have been nice. The cheese plate came with dried fruit but a fruit chutney would have made a better compliment. The charcuterie plate and wings were perfect as presented. Service and ambience were excellent.

    The service at the Palm Court was wonderful. The place gave off a very nice ambience and I enjoyed the fact that the experience was like sitting in a very luxurious coffee shop with delicious food. We sat on a comfy fabric arm chair with a table between us. Tables and the bar are available, however. Noise levels are perfect. I could actually hear myself speak without hearing the ones around you. A wedding reception was happening as well and started an hour after we came in. Very fun to watch! I'd recommend going on a Friday for those that wish to have a dinner sans wedding reception in the background. It did not ruin my experience at all, just being mindful :) The food was delicious and well portioned. Was hoping the appetizers would be slightly bigger in portion.

    The service was just bad. The attitude of the wait staff was abrupt and uncomfortable. They got my order wrong and instead of just apologizing they seemed combative so I apologized. It was just a weird experience. Then they disappeared for an extended period of time. There were a handful of tables they were not busy. I should have picked somewhere else for a birthday dinner but I assumed they would be run the same way as the hotel; friendly and professional

    Our waiter was absolutely wonderful. Engaged in conversations and was quite funny. We stayed longer just cause we had such a delightful time. We ended up staying and eating at maison boulud. The vibe and deco was superbe, very comfortable seating and the drinks were divine. Best espresso martini hands down.

    Had a very nice time here. Service was perfect. We ordered a club sandwich, seriously the best that we have ever had. Our bartender (Giuseppe) and Daniel our waiter were amazing. Highly recommend.

    The was an event and I had half of my supper right beside people standing and chatting at 1m of our table. The music and noise made conversations impossible.

    Not what I was expecting from a bar at the ritz. Outdated, furniture worn and not a lot of options- we went looking for drinks and dessert and couldn’t really find anything. The device was great- bartender was so attentive and nice.

    Service was excellent, however my low score was because I felt a little misled by the description of the “ Lounge Experience”. The experience was nothing more than sitting in the bar area. Dom Perignon is mentioned, however you have to buy the bottle. The menu is seems to be their every day bar menu. The food was good, but unfortunately nothing special.

    Very pleased with our dinner last night; very relaxing and comfortable. The food was very good as was the service. We have been there several times with family members and we all agree that it is "a come back to again" place!

    In early October, 2022, my wife and I went to the The Palm Court at the Ritz Carlton in Montreal. We waited 1 1/2 hours for any food. When it arrived, it was cold. We went to this restaurant because we trusted the Ritz Carlton name and because our daughter had given us a gift certificate to use there for $200. Before purchasing the gift certificate, my daughter confirmed with the Ritz that it could be used at the restaurant. Before ordering our dinner, we showed the gift certificate to our waiter who also confirmed that the $200, represented by the certificate, would be applied to our bill. Upon finishing our dinner, we were told that the gift certificate would not be honored. We were also told, that, while this restaurant uses the Ritz Carlton name and logo as evidenced by the signage and logo at the entrance of the restaurant, they were not really a part of the Ritz Carlton system. They were merely trying to "build the brand." I believe if this restaurant uses the Ritz Carlton name to lure people into their restaurant, they should honor Ritz Carlton obligations. There was no signage in the restaurant or in the terms of the gift certificate that the certificate would not be honored. I was extremely dissatisfied, paid the bill and expressed the feeling that I had been deceived.

    The food was just OK. Onion soup had little taste and “smoked” steak had barely any discernible smokey flavor. Service was simply interminable. It took forever for the kitchen to produce our food and waitstaff was seldom seen.

    I thought it was a special 'group thing' you booked to sample different French Canadian foods and have a glass of Dom Perignon champagne (which I really wanted to try!)... There was no Dom Perignon available and basically it's just booking dinner in the lounge. The staff are extraordinary - no doubt about that and the room is beautiful, but I guess having it called a "Lounge Experience" I expected some sort of .. well, experience.     Je dois préciser que j’ai été lors de la Saint-Valentin et le restaurant était rempli. Le service était malheureusement lent mais la nourriture était très bien. Les serveurs ont aussi tenté de gérer le manque de personnel tant bien que mal. Je recommande tout de même le restaurant et y retournerai avec plaisir.

    Le plateau de charcuteries était excellent! La salade César était bonne mais sans plus! Le plat de crab cake pour sa part était décevant, Très sec, et peu goûteux! L’ambiance était agréable et le service excellent par contre! Je suggérerais un menu un peu plus varié car les choix de plats principaux sont vraiment limités.

    Je me suis rendu à cet endroit lors de l’Afterwork organisé par l’hôtel avec Dj Mac D, endroit très sympa tout comme la musique d'ailleurs et les cocktails étaient délicieux. Rien à dire, je recommande !

    I went with 3 friends to the After Work at the Palm Court and everything was amazing. The service was excellent, the DJ really good and the food and coktails we ordered was so good! I would definetely recommand the Palm Court and Ritz-Carlton to my friends.

    Valentine’s Day dinner We walked in not expecting it to be seated basically at the lobby bar of the hotel . Seated just feet away from the revolving entrance doors of the ritz, Where we continuously saw people in and out and the smell of pot from outside overwhelmed the lobby every time those doors opened. At one point we thought it was the waiter. Speaking of the waiter the description of the food he was serving us was vague (and not to mention cold) and it was more detailed in the menu. It was a set menu so we didn’t have much choice (which wasn’t the problem) but when u pay 90$ a person for a “4” course meal and purchase a 80$ of wine you expect the waiter to serve you your wine.. The waiter forgot an extra item I had added on to my order then after mentioning it to who I am assuming was the busgirl the extra plate came out and the waiter admitted he had forgot. He didn’t charge for it which I am happy cause it was cold and 100% reheated food . Just all in all not worth the 400$ bill
