Celebrate the Autumn London Restaurant Festival at The Port House Strand and enjoy our set tapas lunch menus: 3 courses for £23 to choose from: 1. Piquillo peppers toast /Salmon Toast /Tomato and serrano ham Toast 2. Patatas Bravas /Spanish Omelet/Aubergine Tempura with hummus 3. Prawns Pil Pil / Spinach cannelloni /Pork meatballs in tomato sauce 4 courses for £26 - 3 tapas + Pasteis de Natas and coffee Available from 12pm until 15.30pm Monday to Friday. A discretionary 12.5% service charge will be added to your bill. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate all dietary requirements. The Port House is always a delight. The food and wine were superb and the service excellent. It is such a gorgeous place and very reasonably priced!

Food was nice, but didn't blow me away. Some of the food was a little bit cold. Staff were pleasant enough. Nobody came over to ask how the food was. They were clearing plates away before we had finished eating. Don't think the food and wine was worth the money, a little bit pricey for what you get. The dark lighting didn't make the food look very appealing. Wouldn't eat here again.

Really enjoyed our Tapas Lunch at the The Port House, Strand. Very helpful staff and excellent service. We will definitely return when we are next in London.

I booked for my husband's birthday, having travelled from Australia with 6 other people. We walked in, and it looked cosy and inviting until the man at the bar looked up with a blank expression and said a woman would help us. I said our name and that we were meeting friends, she said they're upstairs and walked off. We waited 15 minutes before being greeted by our waitress who was clearly rushed off her feet. It took 40 minutes to place the drink order - at least organise a drink swiftly for customers so they feel as if the 2hr 30m limited booking has some experience! There were empty tables, so no idea what the issue was. THE MOST FAWLTY TOWERS was: the waitress was running (I mean elevating off the floor to run!!). She apologised, was flustered, did not smile, even though we reassured her for the first hour or so, it was ok (is it a customers'' responsibility to look after the staff? The cashier (manager?) who processed our payment at the end of the sitting did not smile until we asked her a couple of questions about herself in an attempt to feel the evening was finishing on a pleasant note. She then chatted and told us London dealt with C19 better than Australia - no idea why this topic came up! We usually tip VERY WELL. This is the first time in 35 years I have not tipped. The food was nice enough but the experience buried any sense of enjoyment. I am SO disappointed. We have saved for years to visit London (15 years since we last visited). If under pressure, at least smile, be hospitable, get first drink order out quickly and maybe offer a small bowl of olives or something. It's not rocket science.
