The Potting Shed is a place to meet, eat, drink, relax and chat your day and night away – where hanging plants, terracotta pots and timber beams meet brass, brick and iron. Where you can plant yourself down on the swing seat, bench or at the bar and feel like you are on your family’s porch.

It’s a lively place where you can hoe into fresh, locally harvested produce, delivered by our shed-hands. The same hands that will deliver you good-natured banter, craft beers on tap, great tasting wines and unique cocktails.

Beautiful ambience and location. Certainly felt like you had been transported to another place. Only disappointing thing, and it really would annoy many people who book, is that on arrival for our booking at 5.30pm for dinner (rather early) a number of dinner items on the menu were already sold out. This is not something you would expect if you’ve booked for dinner, and left limited choice on the menu.

We were absolutely mesmerised by the stunning setting of this restaurant — it truly felt like dining in a beautiful garden oasis. The atmosphere alone made for a memorable experience. We began with the Heritage Sourdough, which was so delicious we ended up ordering a second serve. For my main, I chose the Wagyu Beef Schnitzel, which came with the option of pink or well done. While the schnitzel itself was tasty, I was quite disappointed with the accompanying salad — it was simply a few lettuce leaves. For a $45 meal, I was expecting a bit more variety, perhaps some tomato, cucumber or carrot. It felt more like garnish than a proper side, and I was still hungry by the end. My husband ordered the Little Joe Sirloin MB4 300g and was thoroughly impressed. It was cooked to perfection — exactly how he likes it. Our kids ordered the mini cheeseburgers from the kids’ menu. They came with a small salad-style lettuce, which the kids removed, but overall they both really enjoyed their meals. My eldest had the Chicken Schnitzel Parmigiana and requested it plain — no sauce or cheese. Unfortunately, due to a miscommunication, it came topped with diced tomato and she said the schnitzel was soggy. We mentioned this to the staff, and the manager kindly offered to replace the meal. Instead, we opted for another round of sourdough and they provided a discount, which we appreciated. It was also my youngest child’s birthday, and we had noticed the staff singing for other birthday celebrations. When we asked if they could do something similar, they happily agreed as long as we ordered a dessert — which we were more than happy to do. Watching my daughter’s face light up as the staff brought out her dessert and sang ‘Happy Birthday’ was a truly heartwarming moment. I’m so grateful for the extra effort they made to make her night special. Despite how busy the restaurant was, the service remained attentive and friendly throughout the evening. All in all, it was a lovely experience.

Ambience, vibes and services are very good. The themed atmosphere specially is very nice. Food and drinks presentation is over the top. I would say it compensates the price but it's still too much.

Venue fantastic and atmosphere relaxing and staff lovely. Menu is interesting and varied and food well presented. Loved the roasted pumpkin starter to share. Only complaint 2 of us chose Fish cos we enjoy it, but found crumbed coating thick and overcooked and fish a bit dry, plus fried potato scallops too big and heavy to digest. It was served in a bowl so potato underneath fish was wet. A Plate would have been better. Otherwise everyone else enjoyed their meals. Snowhite dessert we shared was amazing, so creative & delish. Coffees were disappointingly very luke warm which was a shame. We will come back tho!! We just loved that is is a dog friendly eatery. Thank you.
