We have been happy with our experiences at The Prospect. It's a nice upscale restaurant. Food is good, they have a good kids menu as well. It's fine for children who are well behaved and used to dining out in upscale restaurants, they are accommodating. Great cocktails. Our complaint is that the food always takes a long time once you've ordered. We've been there on busy nights, and this particular visit it was not busy at all. This is our third visit there and it's been the same each time. That is going to start prohibiting me from choosing this restaurant in the future because it's frustrating. Otherwise, we've been happy with our meal and service.

They had recently changed there menu but did not change the prices in the computer. When the bill came there was a discrepancy based on what was on the bill and what price was on the menu. This was something a good server should have caught but once it was address it was taken care off, but surprised that a restaurant that is upscale did not catch this prior to serving guests. Also the bartender up stairs was clearing menus off out table prior to us even pms I g our food order very strange and he was also yelling at staff down the stairs and was very loud was communicating with guest. Lastly a manager should have talked with us post meal about the billing once it was brought up to the hostess, but no nothing happened. It’s a shame as the appetizer were very good and drinks were good but the little mistakes make certain things unforgettable, won’t be back.

We sat at the counter. The food was great and it was fun to talk to the chefs and watch them prepare the food. We had an excellent meal.

We had excellent service from Maggie. She's terrific. Loved the beet salad and the kale salad. Steak Frites were excellent as were the black cod and scallops. Wish you'd bring back the small steak on the children's menu. Our granddaughters loved that.

The noise level was not energetic, it was obscene. Many individuals at many tables were looking over to the D.J. and shaking their heads in dismay. We came for conversation, camaraderie, good food and excellent service. We received excellent service only. We will not be back. I will say, the pastries were very good.

Band was way too loud for a restaurant. Cannot hear the conversations. Pounding music. They turned it down upon request but it was back to pounding in 10 minutes.
