Absolutely wonderful experience. Lunch was incredible, such a great price for the 2 course lunch meal. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was beyond perfect. Service was impeccable and the drinks choice they had was so broad.

It was a wonderful experience, the food was fantastic we had champagne. I think the most lacking was service their appeared to be enough staff but it was difficult to be waited on, our server was very nice but I felt that she just reallywa Ted get through this quickly.

Lovely experience staff very professional but friendly, relaxing environment with background music provided by talented musicians. My only criticism having ordered the traditional afternoon tea I would have liked my tea served in a bone china cup and saucer not a plain white thick heavy cup the kind I normally get served coffee in.

Took my mother for her birthday. Wonderful atmosphere! Great Service! Great food! Pianist played happy birthday as they brought out a cupcake with a candle. Nice touch! We are now going to be booking the pump rooms when we visit bath every three months.

Nice ambience and generally good. The starters we ordered were uninspiring (prawn cocktail a kick back to the 70's) and the blue cheese tart more like a hunk of standard quiche, but the mains were good. My desert was not an egg custard and had no nutmeg, more like a vanilla tart so disappointing. A pleasant place to lunch, but the food could be better. Enjoyed the live music!

I was treated to a Somerset High Tea for 2 by my work colleagues. My husband and I decided to visit at lunchtime and we booked ahead as the voucher advised. The service was fantastic, the food delicious and the ambience was perfect especially as the pianist was playing and were several birthday groups in the room too. Lovely experience.

Our waitress asked about any dietary requirements and offered alternatives. Thank you all for making our experience thoroughly enjoyable.

We enjoyed the experience but it felt like we had gone back in time where the decor and carpeting were all a little faded and tired. It was crowded and noisy and we could hear other conversations close to us - not very intimate. The tea was yummy but very expensive - were the scones home-made?

Waited to be seated although booked - very busy vibe, which was nice, however seemed others were prioritized over us. We opted for the traditional afternoon tea for two - tea arrived in teapots that had seen better days - not what you'd expect of a place like the Pump Room - overall it was average and certainly not worth the £27 EACH - needs updating

The Ambience at the Pump Room is quite special. You can imagine Jane Austen taking afternoon tea at the next table, listening to the same trio of musicians that entertain you. The service was impeccable, friendly and attentive. It's not cheap, but it is an unforgettable experience and well worth the money. Quitessentially English.

We had an afternoon tea for my mum in law and it exceeded expectations. We often avoid tourist places, but the atmosphere is worth the price with live classical music and a grand dining room. They also made our mum feel very special. Lovely.

My daughter arrived first, placed orders and mentioned rest of the family would arrive in 10 minutes, so that the restaurant could prepare the food. We arrived with no one noticed, this no request about our drinks. And total waiting time was 45 minutes for the food. People arrived late was eating and we had to chase our food for them to come. The afternoon tea set was bad, other food eatable but wouldn’t say it’s good or tasty. And there is no tables with the view of the Roman Bath, if we knew that we wouldn’t have booked lunch here.
