New Year’s Eve dinner
Great space and ambience. Good food and service. Nice patio in Summer.
Great service. Great cocktails selections. Perfect for a date night or a special occasion. We had a lamb ragu pasta, wedge salad. and a chicken tikka masala. Both were good, not excellent. Still would recommend this place.
Beautiful environment, we loved the atmosphere and ambience. Absolutely delicious food! Would highly recommend.
Our server was fine. Though weirdly when we were trying to get her attention at one point, another server watched us doing that for at least 10-15 seconds and did nothing, just stared at us and then walked away - he was standing three feet from her and could easily have let her know. That was pretty off-putting.
The food was overall on the salty side but otherwise bland. The exception was the tikka masala, which was tasty, and the fries in the fish and chips were good. The oysters were fine also.
Great comforting food. The ambiance is very fitting to the Alice in wonderland theme. The drink selection was great too. My only issue was the server. She was very rushed. It is one thing to cater the crowd and ask if you need anything, but if it’s happening so frequently you almost feel like they want to kick you out. The place wasn’t even filled up. I would still recommend for the food and ambiance, and hoping this one server was the bad exception
Excellent service and menu for lunch
Fantastic dinner at The Rabbit Hole. The service was really nice and the food delicous. Nice ambiance
Was very happy to have discovered this place. Absolutely loved the ambience, our server and the food.
Staff was really nice and accommodating. They have an amazing cocktail menu. The food was very tasty. had a great time here.
Im a returning guests. Excellent experience both times.
The food was excellent. It's casual but it has a warm ambience. I am not over the Holiday Special. Beef Wellington came with these roasted potatoes and cauliflower. So delicious. The starters were also delicious. The drink menu is expansive. It does not disappoint. I was transported to London!
This restaurant is excellent. I’ve told everyone about it. Now you know too.
A pub with unique items on their menu. Rabbit pie, shepherds pie with lamb and haggis. An amazing roasted chestnut risotto. So many things to choose from. Some great cocktails as well. Definitely worth a visit!
I had no issues making the reservations. Staff are very attentive, but often overlap (for example, one person would take our drink order and then our assigned server came back to ask about drinks - I would rather being overattentive than not at all, but just flagging). Cocktail menu, beer selection, and lunch menu are superb. Noise level was not too loud so we could have a decent conversation. I'll definitely come back for my next business lunch or after-work drinks.
It was really nice. Biggest oysters of my life, had to figure out how they were going to fit in my mouth haha
Enjoyed every dish we tried, fun and cozy room.
Good comfort food. Nice place for a chill dinner out.
Perfect night out. Our server Michael was phenomenal. We weren’t in a rush and wanted to enjoy the evening and he provided the perfect balance for that. The food was outstanding, with what I’d consider perfect portions.
If you want a relaxed but sophisticated evening out, definitely give The Rabbit Hole a try.
Get the fish and chips and whatever specials they have - always amazing!
The drinks, Mrs Tiggy-Winkle, were amazing.
We shared the Beef Tartare which is so tasty.
I had the Halibut which was very good and plentiful. My friend had the Braised lamb rigatoni which he found delicious.
The dessert, the sticky toffee pudding was great.
The service was very good.
Moderate at best. We indicated we were not in a rush and would flag out server when ready to
order, but he circled back twice within 10 minutes asking if we were ready. Not the laid back atmosphere I would associate with a laid back pub.
The food here was so creative and delicious - a very cool take on British gastropub, and unique to the financial district. Where it fell flat for me and my collegues was the service. Our server seemed to lack any emotion, and her timing wasn't great. Would still recommend this place and go back though!
A very good restaurant with great food and ambiance. Also the drinks are awesome. Just a fantastic experience
I really have a soft spot for the Queen's tea, it's so cute that it comes in a teapot!!!!!! <3
The food was very good but the service was not as great. The table it felt rushed and cocktails and wine took a long time to get to the table. In fact, one of the wine orders was came much later than all the rest. I would give a solid four stars when the service improves.
My friend were here for lunch on a Tuesday, quiet, lovely atmosphere. Great decor. Attentive service and excellent food. Loved the rabbit pie!
The service was warm and welcoming. The food was also quite nice. It wasn’t too fancy and the environment was relaxed with the food feeling like a fine dining restaurant.
Amazing food and service! Looking forward to coming back next time I am in Toronto.
It's a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations.
The service was excellent (thank you) and the food was very good. The staff was very, very friendly and accommodating with respect to our toddler. The only issue was that it was a bit louder than we would have liked, but we understand that others may enjoy it louder. We would definitely eat at Rabbit Hole again.
Food, cocktails, and overall flavours were incredible.
HOWEVER there were some service & execution flaws.
When we first arrived, we seemed to have two people servicing our table, which resulted in a mix of over-attention and neglect. We were asked 3+ times if we were ready to order cocktails, in a span of like 5min, which, if you've seen the cocktail list, you'll know this is WAY too much attention in too little time, because that list is HUGE. We did finally order cocktails, but then server #2 came over to take our cocktail order...at which point we had already ordered them with the other server, so he took our meal order.
Then we had radio silence from our server(s). Which should have been fine, because our appetizers came out and at this point we would just be enjoying our meal -- but I ordered the bone marrow, and they forgot to bring the scoop that's supposed to come with it (so you can get the bone marrow out). Took a little while of me struggling before I managed to catch someone's attention.
At this point, I'm now finally starting to enjoy my appetizer properly, and suddenly our entrees come out. We've only had our appetizers for like...10min? max?
So we finished our appetizers, with some uncomfortable haste at this point, and then moved on to our entrees.
Entrees were very tasty, but temperature and timing negatively affected them. I ordered the steak pie, which is drizzled table-side with gravy - but this gravy had been soaking into the crust this whole time while I was finishing my appetizer, so I was now eating a slightly chilled and slightly soggy pie.
We also wanted to order another round of cocktails, but seemed to be in a period of server neglect again, so by the time we ordered cocktails, we were mostly done with our entrees, so we just finished our cocktails and didn't bother with dessert.
ALL THIS BEING SAID - food/drink was delicious, and I'll be back again. I think it was just a bad night for service.
Overall, the evening was terrific. Brandon was a FABULOUS server, a highlight of the evening.
Rabbit Hole has been decorated beautifully, the bar area in particular.
To me, it’s a pub with a Parisian “je ne sait quoi”! However, the televisions reduce the ambience by adding an American sports bar, “je ne desire pas”!!😂. At one point in the evening the TVs was showing the fireplace visual, more cosy and welcoming in keeping with the ambience of the restaurant. AND, the music was loud and interfered with conversation. Soft jazzy background music at a soft level would make the whole experience more warm, cozy and intimate at each seating area. People had to raise their voices over the music so it was difficult keeping track of three separate conversations, the one I was suppose to be listening to and two more from other tables! 🤣
It is a little on the expensive side BUT the food was great!
I’ll be back and have already recommended The Rabbit Hole to others!
Very innovative menu in a nice central setting well worth a visit
Food was amazing and Alisha was very attentive and knowledgeable!
Service was excellent food was too, second time coming here, will definitely be back. Have a scotch egg they are great !
My three friends and I visited as we were staying in the hotel beside the restaurant. During a visit from Ireland. As soon as we walked in we were greeting in a very friendly way and shown to our seats. Our server was Alisha and she could not have been more helpful. She guided us as to what was good in the menu and was chatty and approachable. The food was lovely, I had the burger, two of my friends had the fish and chips and one had the vegan option. Alisha was very helpful concerning the vegan food and also a shellfish allergy. We will definitely return.
Great new place. Check it out.
Good environment, good food, just a bit loud, if it's a bit quiet, that would be nice!
Very fast service, good for business lunch, great food
