   They have new menu items with more appetizers. The nuts were said to be spicy but were just toasted, very little extra flavor.

   Made a reservation for our anniversary. Staying at the hotel for the weekend. Food underwhelming at best other than the Cuban sandwich. I NEVER salt anything and had to salt poutine appetizer. New York strip only steak on the menu. Asparagus side came out cold with 8 pieces of spaghetti-thin and over-charred stalks. Service was incredibly slow, too casual (greeted us as and called us “you guys” multiple times), and disinterested. Second round of drinks took over 25 min to receive. We were given the excuse that the bartender had already stabbed the ticket so they weren’t made. Server also stated that they had sent staff home and then got busy. Plates, glasses, and empty beer bottle sat on the table until I stacked them up and pushed to the side. This with a server assistant standing not ten feet from our table. Sounds picky, but zero attention to detail. Never offered dessert. Won’t be back.

   Great experience! Everyone’s food was excellent, service was great and add the music for the perfect trio. The only suggestion I have is to bring a jacket. There is a fireplace, but it was still a bit chilly. I am looking forward to the summer when the outdoor area is open. Definitely a top pick for date night!

   The Rackhouse is a good venue for pub food and drinks. Stick to burgers and fries and you’ll be happy. Avoid the spicy coleslaw.

   What a fabulous experience! Cocktails, apps, and dinner — all stellar, and phenomenal service. Beautiful, light, open space with tasteful equestrian themed art — lovely. (Although not noted on their menu, they DO have a number of gluten-free options/alternatives, and our server was able to warn about potential cross-contamination issues, so my celiac husband felt safe ordering.)

    Food is always very good here. Server was friendly and brought water and my wine quickly. But when it was time to order my entree, it took over 45 minutes to receive it. This is highly unusual as I eat here frequently.

    My partner and I decided to have valentines dinner here and we had a good time. I ate the salmon and he had a burger, both were great. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was good as well.

    Live music was going on during our meal, we didn’t mind it. 4/5 The rackhouse burger was very dry — 1/5 on that. Deviled eggs were the best part — delicious 5/5. Cajun pasta was great - 4/5 Risotto dish was good but spicy, — 3/5 Cosmopolitan cocktail was tasty - 4/5 Smoked Mac was very good - 5/5 Wedge salad was great too - 5/5 Overall, first time here was fun & we enjoyed the night. 4/5 on the ambiance, food & dining experience

    The Rackhouse is a beautiful venue and on Friday evening had live entertainment to add to the experience. The waitstaff were pleasant and helpful and checked frequently to see to our needs. Unfortunately the food was a disappointment across the board. With a limited tavern menu, you would expect that they could produce each item perfectly. Another diner told us not to order the salmon so we had 3 French Dip sandwiches....the meat in all of them was dry and crusty and not juicy. A Hot Brown was similarly ill cooked. The desserts, however, were all wonderful. Life is short....eat desserts first. Such a shame for a lovely place to gather.

    From the delicious chicken wings, deviled eggs, and awesome brussels sprouts--the overall food was outstanding. Highly recommend to those traveling nearby to stop and enjoy the food.

    Nice place, even though in a hotel lots of regulars. We went on a Friday night and they had music so it was very loud. I had the wedge add grilled chicken. It was OK. Pretty much half a head of ice berg, scattering of bacon dust, yes dust, 2 cherry tomatoes and a drizzle of ranch. I asked for more dressing and more bacon. The chicken was fine and typical. My date had the pork chop with crispy reds and brussels sprouts. It was excellent. We also had the deviled eggs. They were good but not filled as much as I would have liked. We had 2 drinks and a bourbon flight for dessert. It was nice to find a flight of bourbon that we had been wanting to try. Overall it was good. The wedge could use some work.

    We aren't ones to send food back. However, the steak came out too rare and we asked to have it cooked a little longer. The team was so accommodating and our server even provided us a free desert for our troubles. We always get excellent service and the food is amazing. Portions are great, especially for the price. We absolutely love this restaurant and always recommend it to friends/family.

    The restaurant was fairly empty and the table offered to us was in the busy traffic way to/from the kitchen. We asked for a better location and they grudgingly obliged. I ordered the salmon medium rare (and said, better yet, rare). It was served well done so I sent it back. (Actually, it just sat there uneaten the entire duration of our meal. I didn’t eat it, of course.) A new piece of salmon (the small, very tail end-not as nice by any stretch as the first, thick, center piece) was brought out. It was more accurately cooked, but quite inferior to the first one. I just ate it and kept quiet. Disappointed in the experience.

    This visit was my first at the Rack House. The Host was excellent!!! I was not able to secure a table of 10 online. The web site referred me to call and schedule. Unfortunately, I was not able to get in touch with anyone so, I went back online and scheduled two tables of 5. When I got there, I explained to the host my situation and they gave us a large table so we could all sit together. The table had 9 chairs and they so graciously got another chair. The waitress was really nice as well and did a good job. Everyone said the food was good. I liked that we were able to talk with each other without everything being loud. The atmosphere was not rushed and very casual. The live music was great as well. I will definitely be back and would recommend the Rack House to anyone.

    Birthday celebration after a College Women’s basketball game. The restaurant was a little challenging to find cut once found it was really nice. Nicole was our server and she did a phenomenal job. She was Very accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly (we loved her). Isaiah was the host and he was also accommodating, nice and helpful. The ambiance of the restaurant was beautiful! The food was ok speaking solely for myself. I ordered a Cesar salad which looked good but could’ve been cut up better. I ordered the Blackened catfish with grits instead of the rice and beans and a side of asparagus. I was slightly disappointed that the catfish was well seasoned and flavorful but it could have been cooked longer, it was to soft and not at all flaky. The grits and asparagus were amazing as well as the hush puppies and remoulade. For dessert I ordered the Coconut fluff cake and it was amazing. Well proportioned coconut flavor and perfectly homemade whipped cream and white cake. Overall minus a few meal adjustments for the group, We had a great experience and a lovely time! Thank you for having us!

    Could have been good. Wasn’t. Drinks were nice but pricy. The room was nice but loud. They had live music with two guys doing jazzed up 80s covers (please don’t ever do Duran Duran whoever they were) and they made it too loud to talk. Our apps came out ok. They were fine. And the server forgot about our drinks (they had been sitting on the bar for 10 minutes). Our food took over an hour, the servers were overwhelmed as this place is part of the Campbell House Hotel and with a big home game they were full. We complained nicely and they comped it and we took it home.

    Food was good. Service was excellent. Could not carry on a conversation because the noise level was WAY too high. The music was so loud I could barely hear my girlfriend’s voice. If we had been seated closer to the musician we would not have been able to hear anything other than the music. Would like to go back sometime but won’t if there will be music.
