   Service was absolutely wonderful. However, the food was too long in preparation and extremely overpriced. Also, there were not enough choices of entrees. More sandwich and salad choices would have been appreciated. Temperature was extremely cold in the dining and bar area. Even returning to the car to get a jacket didn’t help. Overall our experience was disappointing.

   The restaurant is beautiful but the live music was obnoxiously loud. Our request to move outside was accommodated right away but service was very slow. The burgers were way over cooked and the bread was stale, one order was incomplete, the dessert was good. Will not eat here again.

   The food was great, the bourbon sours were good, however it seemed if you weren’t at the bar or you weren’t in a group and dressed nice the attention for the table was lacking.

   I never leave reviews of places good or bad, but I cannot get over how unseasoned the food is. I feel the need to warn everyone 😂 the dishes come out beautifully presented but have zero flavor- I can only speak to the strip steak & lamb dishes. The cornbread & deviled eggs were decent. The mussels were just okay- undercooked. The inside is beautiful but it is frigid cold. The drink menu is limited & the one drink I did order was soooo strong. Our bill was around $180, which is on average what we spend on a nice dinner, absolutely not worth it. Would never be back. I gave this place a chance because the reviews were mixed both good and bad- it’s the latter. I am doubting there’s even a salt shaker in the kitchen- seriously, it’s that bland. They should have taken all the money they invested in the inside and put it toward a trained and seasoned (no pun intended) chef, just my two cents.

   Service was a little off. The server was pushy and almost too attentive. We actually assumed he had been cut and was trying to get out of there. We are early reservations so we could watch the Kentucky Derby. We had our cocktails and appetizers and had another couple with us. The server came up and asked when we were going to order our dinners, suggesting that we needed to hurry up and do so. We told him we wanted to enjoy our cocktails and appetizers beforehand. He came back again five minutes later, so we just felt like we needed to order them. Both couples ordered salads and asked that they be brought out first they were brought out with our dinners instead. Then we had not only our server, but a few pastors kept coming by our table and trying to prep us our food when we still had food on the plates and we did not have silverware on the plates. It was very clear we were still eating. We decided to order a post mule cocktail and still felt like we were being pushed out. We finally decided to settle our tab and go outside to drink our cocktails. This was really disappointing because we had an invited the couple that came with us and they had never been there before. There was no grace to the service and that is something that really should be worked on.

   The restaurant's architecture is very nice. The layout with sofa seating is very inviting. The servers were pleasant and attentive but covering a lot of tables. For dinner we ordered hamburgers, salmon salad and beet with shrimp salad and they were fine but nothing exceptional. The breakfast again was ok but the waitress was covering a lot of tables and therefore we waited for coffee refill etc.

    This was a great place for our prom group. We had advance reservations for a large party, and we were seated immediately. Service was great, food was amazing, and the place was fancy enough to not feel weird that we were dressed up but casual enough that we felt like we could be ourselves. The only issue we had was that the online menu was very different than the in-house menu. We chose this place because of the menu offerings (checked two weeks prior to the reservation), so the change was a surprise. The picky eaters among us had a hard time finding alternatives, but we managed. Great experience overall, and we all really enjoyed ourselves.

    First time here. I felt like they’re trying to figure out what they are. But maybe I’m in the minority as they were busy for 8pm on a Wednesday evening. The grits were super. But they got hidden in all the greens around them. The accompanying chicken was tasty but rather undersized I felt. My associate enjoyed his salmon. Anyway—some pluses for sure. If someone took me there I’d be ok with it. But not my cup of tea otherwise.

    This was the first time me and my fiancé have ate here, It will not be the last. The food was amazing and the drinks were even better. Everything was fresh and the service was impeccable. Entire staff and very polite and friendly. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

    We have loved this place in the past but they have deleted stuff from the menu that were favorites and the food last night just wasn't very good. Our server was excellent though. Go back to the old menu and we will give it another try

    We went to the Rackhouse since the website talked about local and bourbon inspired food, but when we arrived we found that the online menus were outdated and the only bourbon inspired food was two of the desserts. After waiting an hour to get the food, the rare stake was well done and we decided to just return it (because we did not want to wait another hour for a properly cooked one). Come to desert time, they were out of the two bourbon inspired desserts. The reset of the meal experience was quite acceptable and the bourbon flight was well composed. Servers were nice, even though the kitchen and chef failed. I’m sure most people have a good time here but I was thoroughly disappointed that this place did not live up to its promise, and failed so miserable in food quality, menu and preparation time. Won’t be going back.

    The rackhouse burger is very good. The bourbon flights are great. The chicken and gritz was delicious but the portion size is not filling. The atmosphere was good and the service was good. Biggest let down was the menu on their website is not up to date and I made the reservation based on what I saw on the menu and I was really looking forward to food that is no longer served.

    Made a reservation for our anniversary. Staying at the hotel for the weekend. Food underwhelming at best other than the Cuban sandwich. I NEVER salt anything and had to salt poutine appetizer. New York strip only steak on the menu. Asparagus side came out cold with 8 pieces of spaghetti-thin and over-charred stalks. Service was incredibly slow, too casual (greeted us as and called us “you guys” multiple times), and disinterested. Second round of drinks took over 25 min to receive. We were given the excuse that the bartender had already stabbed the ticket so they weren’t made. Server also stated that they had sent staff home and then got busy. Plates, glasses, and empty beer bottle sat on the table until I stacked them up and pushed to the side. This with a server assistant standing not ten feet from our table. Sounds picky, but zero attention to detail. Never offered dessert. Won’t be back.

    Great experience! Everyone’s food was excellent, service was great and add the music for the perfect trio. The only suggestion I have is to bring a jacket. There is a fireplace, but it was still a bit chilly. I am looking forward to the summer when the outdoor area is open. Definitely a top pick for date night!

    What a fabulous experience! Cocktails, apps, and dinner — all stellar, and phenomenal service. Beautiful, light, open space with tasteful equestrian themed art — lovely. (Although not noted on their menu, they DO have a number of gluten-free options/alternatives, and our server was able to warn about potential cross-contamination issues, so my celiac husband felt safe ordering.)

    Food is always very good here. Server was friendly and brought water and my wine quickly. But when it was time to order my entree, it took over 45 minutes to receive it. This is highly unusual as I eat here frequently.

    Live music was going on during our meal, we didn’t mind it. 4/5 The rackhouse burger was very dry — 1/5 on that. Deviled eggs were the best part — delicious 5/5.     The Rackhouse is a beautiful venue and on Friday evening had live entertainment to add to the experience. The waitstaff were pleasant and helpful and checked frequently to see to our needs. Unfortunately the food was a disappointment across the board. With a limited tavern menu, you would expect that they could produce each item perfectly. Another diner told us not to order the salmon so we had 3 French Dip sandwiches....the meat in all of them was dry and crusty and not juicy. A Hot Brown was similarly ill cooked. The desserts, however, were all wonderful. Life is short....eat desserts first. Such a shame for a lovely place to gather.

    From the delicious chicken wings, deviled eggs, and awesome brussels sprouts--the overall food was outstanding. Highly recommend to those traveling nearby to stop and enjoy the food.
