Beautiful place. Decent service in that the staff did they best they could. It took about 75 minutes to get the meal after the entrees order was placed. The ribeye was quite good. The chicken dish was over cooked and dry. Based on the location and the view offered by the restaurant this could have been a memorable dinner. Unfortunately it was not. We did bring the long wait and food quality up to the wait staff. They reduces the bill by 30%. I would have rather paid the full price for the meal we expected to get.

I was visiting The Killarney Mountain Lodge and we dined, my husband and I at The Ranch House yesterday! I was blown away by the food, the service and the incredible view. Let me tell you, I am a big Alain Passart fan! I had dined all year at the best tables of Toronto ( Scaramouche, Canoe, Select Bistro, Kasa Moto ) and Québec City ( La Fenouillière, La Tanière, Le Champlain in Chateau Frontenac) At the Ranch House I had the grilled oysters with chili sauce with crispy shallots, green onions and peanuts as an appetizer - It was 6 pieces and the combo of flavours for me who is a fan of raw PEI oysters was delicious, complex and spectacular even if the oysters we grilled. Chef Hanna Jo Clemens was able to let the taste of the oyster shine with this asian fusion creation of her crue. My main was the Crusted cod with hazelnuts, pancetta, Jerusalem artichoke émulsion with roasted Brussels sprout, the layer of flavour had a complimentary effect on each other, it truly blew me away! Each bite was spectacular. This was by far my BEST dish of 2023 ! Our waiter Tayler was attentive, caring and a pleasure to talk to! At our arrival he joined us outside the amazing patio volunteering to take a picture of us two, i never had a restaurant view like this in my life, i was transported in a Group of 7 painting making you feel like in a AJ Casson’s painting! I give it 10/10

We have a lovely time at the Ranch House. When we walked into the building, we knew that it was going to be something special. Our waiter was fabulous and the food was outstanding. My husband and I are still talking about the tomahawk steak and the polenta fries. Best meal we have had in a very long time.

Our meal was exceptional, the oyster app was especially good. Our waiter, Conrad was a keeper and we would ask for him again. My only disappointment was the lack of Canadian Wine on the wine list.

Beautiful ambience, nice view of the Killarney Channel, fantastic quality of food served. Staff can be a little more responsive and friendly. The gentleman who served us seemed to be very quiet and serious... Need the overall mood of the place to be a little more brightened up. The burger was on the menu but unavailable. The dessert menu was pathetic. I would say the place is a bit on the pricier side.. not sure if every pretty penny we spent were justified.

The restaurant was understaffed, the poor waitress was running from table to table, therefore it didn't allow for much attentiveness to each table. Despite this fact, the waitress was really friendly. Our appetizer came out cold, but was replaced with a nice hot one once we mentioned it. Our main course was underwhelming. The steak was quite dry and the potatoes were like home fries. We ate at the regular dining room the night before and were surprisingly more impressed with the food there. I think this restaurant has a lot of potential, because the atmosphere is great, but it's not quite there.

Good tasting steak but my ribs eye had fair bit of fat , I showed the waiter after meal ( couldn't tell as I was eating it due to coating) but nothing done. About 25% fat. Otherwise superb meal, a bit pricy but amazingy venue site

Great meal with a great server. Hard to get a spot here, as they don’t have enough serving staff right now, so if you considering eating at the ranch house, make a reservation early. The kale Caesar salad was awesome and of course the steaks are legendary. Overall a great way to spend a birthday evening.

The restaurant is Beautiful, Service was Fantastic, Food by Hanna was suberb! My only complaint would be the guests ignoring dress code and bringing very young children to dinner. I expected an atmosphere to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary not Chuck E Cheese. The restaurant should enforce the policies as advertised. Overall experience was still excellent!

Although this is a steakhouse the non-beef Chef's Specials are spectacular. Half a continent away from any of Canada's three oceans the cod was one of the best fish preparations I have had. The wine list is extensive and provides a good match for any of the dishes. The scenery at the east side tables is breathtaking - bring your camera!

Restaurant seem to be lacking adequate help. We sat down at a table for 6 and and only two place setting were there. I had tried to book a party of 8 one day earlier and was told couldn’t. But we sat at a table for 8. And invited our friends to set with us and that was fine. It took about 20-25 minutes to put a drink order in and about 45-60 minutes to have food on the table. Recommend having more servers in the dining room. Food was great when we received it but waiting for service made the experience bad.
