We came for trivia night and the service was so slow and the food was cold and bland when it did come out. Our server didn’t ask about refills and no one acknowledged the note on the reservation that we were celebrating a birthday. We will NOT be back and will be spreading the word!!

We were five adults and a little one. We had some delicious appetizers and then each ordered an entree. There was enough food that a few of us took part of their dinner home. Good food great service.

Booked a reservation for 10 and was told we only had less then an hour and 45mins. It had to be taken up with a manager to allow us to stay longer. Very strange.

Come here for my birthday every year, usually with a group of 10-12. I booked a reservation for 6:45…got seated at around 7:05 Food was good, unfortunately every time we come the service is really lacking…is it because of the “mandatory” 18% gratuity they think they can skimp on service? We all waited ages for drinks…no one knew who our server was cause we barely saw her, and the bills were all over the place. Saving grace was the gaming area, always a good time! Will probably find somewhere else for the future.

Food was served quickly and hot on arrival. Service could have been better. Waitress seemed unfamiliar with protocols, wasn't very engaging and would disappear for lengthy periods of time, especially after we received our food initially.

They were able to accommodate us showing up early to our reservation. A hockey team so not an easy reso lol. The waitress although very busy was friendly and attentive. Overall very happy with the experience. Great place for the kids to kill some time between games.

We went on a very busy night (Sat night) so it was very noisy and difficult to have conversation. Having said that though, the energy was very high and contagious. The food was just ok, dessert was great, and the gaming was really fun.

The food is horrible and super overpriced. Our server was great though. All women’s bathroom stalls were out of toilet paper on Saturday night at like 9pm. A couple of the games glitched and took a bunch of our credits without being able to play. The kids had fun, but we probably won’t be back.

Jordan was awesome. Literally took care of our two families(9) and was so impressed with him. The food was really good and we just felt taken care of while we visited and the teens went off to game. Servers like him are not the norm anymore.

It was so loud, but that was to be expected. DJ on Saturday was really good. The service at the restaurant was subpar. We had to hail the waitress to finally order, she never checked on us upon receiving food, we had to retrieve our own napkins, our plates were never cleared, and we couldn’t pay because our waitress was MIA. After the meal and waiting around we finally told our kids to go and play the games without us while we tried to find our waitress so we could pay. We stood by our table 20 minutes while 2 staff members tried to find her. *Also the restaurant was out of CO2 so all drinks were flat. We let them know but it still was not rectified before end of meal. (We didn’t have to pay for the 2 flat pop)

Hostess was a disaster. We had reservation and they didn’t have a table ready but yet seated 3 parties of walk-in ahead of us. The waitress tried to make up for a bad start so I give her credit for that.

First time attending as I had heard great things about the food. I was only visiting Calgary. However the food was mediocre at best (salmon and shrimp pasta) and the chocolate cake dessert I would rate a 1. It was dry, minimal chocolate flavour, no lava and tasted like it was freezer burned. The service was extremely poor also. Asked for Parmesan for my pasta and didn’t get it. No refills ever offered and rare check ins by the waitress. The gaming area was enjoyed by my son and he was happy with the prizes he chose. Overall I would likely try one more time when next in town and see if my experience is different a second time. However not a great first experience.

The food was great, staff was accommodating. All staff need to be aware of how Scene+ points are issued to diners. We asked if all diners could get their own Scene+ points since we were getting separate bills, we were told absolutely, then found at the end of our meal that only one person at the table could get Scene+points.

Nothing negative about the environment - I just get overwhelmed quickly and easily the more that going on around me and the more people I have to deal with. I didn't stay as long as I would have liked but perhaps its best to break up visits in small intervals for someone like myself. Knew it was going to be busy being a Friday night and noisy, but it was my first experience, so next time perhaps going in the middle of the week would work better for me.

Thoroughly enjoyed dinner. My wife and I split a Butcher’s Daughter pizza. I’ll likely go back to the ABC burger next time, but the pizza was still pretty good. The staff are always amazing, and the reason we keep coming back!

I think the Rec Room is a great value for a family. The food costs are reasonable and it's fun to play the games! The food was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. Overall the food was really good. The food came out really fast which is great for little kids. Service was excellent .
