We celebrated my child’s birthday with 7 of her friends. We had a table off to the side, away from everyone. Our server was great. The kids menu was perfect ,lots of choices and priced well. Once done the children played at the arcade. The arcade was spacious, there was no waiting. Everyone had a lot of fun.

Management on duty did not accomplish by answering our inquires and then our table was double charged and paid for the nachos we ordered. I took care of that bill and left the table to go downstairs. I did not have a chance to connect with them to notify them. The other patrons had to leave suddenly and did not know the bill was paid for, and paid again for the same thing. Unimpressed with the lack thereof service and lack thereof organization.

Food was good but games aren’t the best. Dave and buster has way better games. They had bowling for 45 credits and axe throwing for 16 credits which isn’t too bad it’s cheaper than actually going to do those things.

While we enjoyed our time, it was our first time to the Rec. Room. we were disappointed that the pool tables and ping pong were closed at 8pm for a 10pm event, with NO notification upon arrival for a 630pm reservation. After we completed dinner at approx. 745pm, the tables were busy, we kept coming back and by 805pm signage was in place, even though no preparation was started for the event till 900pm. This could have been easily handled by staff or security during that last hour prior, with communication on time limits. Service by wait staff, meals and drinks were very good. Just not sure on taking the younger family members back for entire the evening.

No special deal or either celebration for birthday celebration, the place was empty, however the service was taking forever, we were there for 3,5h seating and waiting for our food and drinks, 20 minutes waiting for a drink.

Our first experience at the Rec Room…….very big and noisy. Not a lot of atmosphere. We asked to sit at a table and were sat at a booth as we were told the tables were reserved. No one showed up the entire time we were there!! The server was very pleasant and efficient. The food was basic pub fare…..OK but nothing special. This place is best suited for a large party group.

Very disappointed with the level of service at Rec Room. Went for lunch on Sunday and the place was relatively empty but service couldn’t have been slower. Waitress didn’t take drink orders for at least 30mins and didn’t even offer if we wanted another round. We had two kids at the table and they didn’t even offer kids menus. When food arrived, they brought out appetizers with main course. They brought out kids ice cream with their main meals melting while they ate. Just horrible experience

The food was amazing. Atmosphere was loud and energetic, I really liked it. Only thing was the food took so long so we didn’t get a chance to stay and play games as it was too late. It was very busy though as there was a leafs game on. The servers were still very friendly although they didn’t offer or give us water. Will definately go there again just to play the games!

Reserved high table and got a low table. Asked to make as per requested reservation and seemed to cause alot of confusion with who would serve our table . We did not get any service until 35 min after seating. No lime available for drinks, and nachos came out stone cold. All around not a very pleasant 1st visit to this location.

This was my second visit to this restaurant and both experiences weren’t the best. Our first visit was for a table of 4, our waiter took about 20-30 minutes to take our food order after serving our drinks and didn’t apologize. The waiter was not approachable, never provided the name, never checked if our food was good, didn’t ask if we collected scene points, didn’t even smile while serving. It didn’t make the restaurant welcoming, however, we decided that we would try it again. Our second visit was slightly better, table for 2 this time! Sadly, we asked for no ice in the drink, she repeated what we said, but continued to serve the drink with ice within 3 minutes. Closer to the end of dinner, she checked on us to see if we are done and noticed that I didn’t touch my dinner and asked if I didn’t like it, I explained no and why, told her we’re all done and good to go. She didn’t apologize or have sympathy and then didn’t come back with the bill, we had to wave her down after 20 minutes to ask for the bill again, which she didn’t ask for scene points either and didn’t offer anything since I didn’t have any of my dinner. These 2 dinners have made an impression for this location, and sadly it’s not a good one.

The arcade section is BUSY on a Saturday (it was also the last Saturday of the March break) I was hoping I was timing it right to avoid the crowds, but I didn't. There are wait times for most of the games at the arcade. Pool tables were unavailable due to a private event. And of course, since it is an arcade, the noise level in that area reflected it. The noise in the restaurant area was typical. We were far away from the arcade area and it was early 5:30 when we arrived, so the restaurant was only half full. After being seated, we waited for 10 minutes and no one acknowledged us, although different servers passed us by. We could see other servers gathered in different areas chatting. I asked one server if they could find our server, and one of the ones chatting looked at us, but continued doing what they were doing. No one came by, so 5 minutes later I stopped a manager and the person who looked at us came by to serve us. Not sure if he was ending his shift, because we got a new server part way through our meal. When they were present, the servers were great. My burger was really good. The pizza was yummy. The fish was HUGE and good. The fries were just warm. There was a mix up with one of the orders (fish tacos, not fish & chips) and when the correct order arrived, it wasn't warm (we expected the fish part to be warm). My son says he would come back with friends (teenagers), I don't feel the need to come back. If you have kids and want to play video games and eat a nice meal - then you will likely enjoy the Rec Room.

Great place! My son and I had so much fun! The portions of the appetizers and meals were great:huge! My son has a big appetite and we left a lot to be packed up. I forgot our server’s name but he was so sweet, kind and helpful. Had lighter highlights in hair and I believe Filipino nationality I think? Not sure but he was awesome. We got our food quick so we can go and play!

This was our second time dining here. We love the game area and axe throwing and the cocktails are great but the food is horrible, I had the shrimp and salmon pasta and it was so bland I had to overuse the salt and pepper to add some flavour. My friend had the steak which was cold but he ate it because he was hungry. After we got our food we had to wait for our server to get cutlery as well.

Went for Valentine’s Day, was busy but not too busy. Waiting for almost 15 minutes for a server to tend to us. The server told us when she was finally able to introduce herself and take our DRINK order that they are extremely short staffed. It took almost 45 minutes for our food to come out and 25 minutes for DRINK. Keep in mind we ordered two entrees and an appetizer, usually your appetizer is the first meal of the night. All of our food came out at once, my order was incorrect (got the salmon with the potatoes and asked to sub the veggies for a Cesar salad) they gave me Cesar salad and veggies It was taken back and I was given the right order but the potatoes were barely warm but I was too hungry to ask for it to be taken back. We ended up ordering dessert and that took almost 20 minutes for a tiny cake to come out, I actually ended up paying before the cake came out to save time for payment so we could just leave after the cake came out. Despite them being short staffed it wasn’t that busy so I’m not sure why the delays were so long. Disappointed as we went to recreate our first date. WILL NOT be coming back for food, maybe for games though

4 of us came for dinner and games on kid’s birthday. We didn’t have a wait staff for almost 20 minutes until I flagged down a supervisor and requested a server to take our order. Our waitress was courteous and professional. Drink and food came relatively quick after our order. We all enjoyed the food. But kids were too tied after dinner for the games.
