I have been attending rec room for every event, this year was by far the worst so sorry that I took my husband here for Father’s Day his first time my sixth time and by far the worst experience we had the restaurant was not over all busy yet still we had no host to check in on us, our waitress forgot about us then our orders were incorrect, when they corrected it half the orders did not get placed into kitchen the second time by the time we got our food it was cold and had no taste. Pets were inside the game area which is not ideal considering it’s a restaurant. We were so dissatisfied and disappointed such a bummer, one restaurant off our list

We revisited this venue following the Jays Game and it was chaotic.
Food, just okay.
The Staffers are energetic and try hard to provide great service.

Made lunch reservation for 6 ppl through opentable. Friend was visiting from out of town and was going to catch a jays game. Perfect location to meet just before the game. Needed to change seating to 10 ppl and had to contact restaurant directly - non issue there. 6 adults 4 little kids was seated in corner by window. Service was prompt and friendly. Kids menu available. Food was good but nothing to write home about, some portions bigger than others. Would go again for the location, games and casual atmosphere.

Not a place to go for a good meal.
There were 3 of us and 2 had a cold meal....and I mean cold. They obviously pre-cook their food and warm it when someone orders it. Stone cold fries and a steak they was slightly warm to the touch. The quality and flavour of the good was mediocre.

Cool place for a drink before a game, but not to eat!

This Venue appears to be based on an 'Adult Version' of the Chuck E Cheese (Biz Model);
but, dropped into a converted Leons furniture warehouse.

Regardless, it is in a prime location (Across from the Rogers Centre) and does offer an
alternate to the other venues, located on Bremner and Front Streets.
However, Staffers say that it's a real struggle on 'Non-event nights'.

The FOH Desk is actually located towards the back; so make sure you check-in and get credit
for honoring your reservation or they will list you as a 'No Show' and if others in your group
arrive a few minutes after you; they will not recognize you as being there....Annoying !

The Main Bar with giant screen is a big attraction.
Food, just okay; but is a viable option to the 'Junk' sold at Rogers Centre.

The day and time we went, it was not busy. Even though
We had reservations, the staff sat us by the washroom and kitchen, pretty much the worst seat in the house. I requested that we be given a better table considering it was completely dead and after some debate we were moved. So not the best start. Service was sub standard.

Excellent place, it literally has everything im looking for an entertainment. Just sucks that I have reserved for few of my friend for my BIRTHDAY and as a first timer here and they were insisting to give us crappy seat when I have requested a good seat when i booked online. Of course i refused to sit there and we had requested for a different table, good thing they found better one for us, or else I wouldve given a 1 star. Food was EXCELLENT and in a GREAT PRICE. I will recommend and I will come back again, especially for those fried potatoes. O.M.G. simple but taste so good. Keep up the good work. Just dont offer any crappy table, thanks!

Disappointed this visit. Ribs were dry — had to ask for sauce. Tomato side salad had more cucumber than tomato. Pizza was OK.

We got to eat movie-theatre quality entrées while being ignored by our servers and involuntarily hosed by dubstep music. Never again and neither should you.

The place had a great vibe when we walked in. It’s an upscale arcade with plenty of screens to watch. However, the service was sooooo slow. We had one appetizer, a pizza and three drinks. It took over 2 hours. I ordered a beer to have with the pizza. I was done with the pizza before I received the beer. Another tell tale sign was that we were there about 2 hours before a Raptors playoff game that was 2 blocks away, and the place was half empty. It should have been really busy. I would go again because maybe we just had a really slow server. The food was perfect for the type of place. I hope it survives because it’s a great idea.

We got there for dinner and drinks with our collegues. After ordering two rounds of drink and 1 round of shooters we were told that we had reached our alcohol allowance limit. Although, we were not loud, not mumbling basically just sitting there laughing and talking. The server didn’t come to see us to explain the situation he just sent his management. Poorly handled especially that we were not disturbing. Not recommending this place to anyone!

Had a great time with out of town guests. Lovely view of trains being moved around outside at roundhouse. Server was in good spirits a d very attentive. Most had the club sandwich w fries which is excellent. Fantastic fries. Little one had pizza w caesar salad. Caesar salad was funny tasting (very lemony) and different from past times we’ve had it here. Food came quickly so lots of time to enjoy all the awesome games.

Server was great, food was good, the only problem was at check in, they wanted to give me the worst table in the place and I told them nicely that i did not want to sit there and they were quite ridged and advised there was no other tables, but I held my ground and within 3 minutes I had a nice table. Advice to staff, do your best to make customer happy first time around, there was absolutely no reason why they put up a fuss, all they had to do was clean the table and voila I was happy. It was annoying how they treated this mature lady! My server made up for it and btw I’m a very good tipper!

We came in March 25th for dinner before the Leafs game. Our server, Jason, waited until after we had decided our meals and began placing our orders to inform us that the grill was down and there were certain foods they could not actually make. Our meal came which was delicious despite some things having to be pan seared instead of grilled. I had to flag Jason down to ask him for some popcorn because none had been brought to our table which is the kids favourite part. I asked for sundaes with chocolate sauce for the kids and was brought sundaes with strawberry sauce and only when it was pointed out by us were we told you do not have chocolate sauce. The popcorn was brought shortly after which was approximately 20 minutes after it was originally requested. I understand he had a party to cater to but as far as I could tell we were still paying customers and no less important. The manager was amazing with our complaints though and made us feel that we were important too which will be one of the only reasons, other than the food being delicious, that will encourage me to recommend the Rec Room to others because it would not be for the overall service.

Great venue with lots of gaming options. However, I wouldn't recommend the calamari because it was mostly just tempura bits with no meat inside. Other than that everything else was great!

Food can be a little less salty and the noise level can be lowered in the back especially when a band is about to play. The levels can be every conflicting

Thanks

Was recommended by a friend to bring my teenage sons here when attending Raptors game. Food was fine but having the table for 1.5hrs is nothing when you spend 20min each time trying to find your server (for service or the bill...) The shooting hoops game was most popular and yet had 1/3 non-functional both days we attended. Would seriously hope for better if we returned... or would try the suggested “bigger one”/ Rec Room with more to offer, next time.

Arrived 20 min before reservation and even though the restaurant was only half full, they wouldn't seat us at our empty table. We had to come back at the time allotted. Waiter couldn't answer questions about the gaming area. Couldn't hear our waiter talk and he couldn't hear us.

The caesar salad had hardly any dressing on it at all.

Disappointed.
