Seated for our reservation as soon as we arrived. Only 1 of the menu by-the-glass red wines was available. Beer and zero-proof drink selection was excellent. We ordered Elk Burger, Pulled Pork Sandwich, Fish & Chips, Tacos, Enchilada, and feature Taco Beef Soup; All were delicious. It was the waitress first night, but she was excellent.

$5 for a side of gravy, 3 of us ordered fish and most pieces were soggy. Waitress was unfriendly off the hop and seemed uninterested to be there. I can appreciate many places are understaffed but if I wanted to get less than pleasant service I’d take the family to McDonald’s and save $120. It’s too bad because the place was a family favourite prior to this experience. One of our members coconut curry was on point though!

This is a bit of a "under the radar" type of place. It looks like it's going to be a family pub/burger joint, but they have some really good and interesting items as well. We love the falafel, the Elk burger, the curry and the fish & chips. Great service from genuinely nice servers.,

The service was very slow. Part of the food order was wrong. Much of the food was overcooked and dry. No refills on coffee was offered. We had preordered a cake, which tasted wonderful but was frozen when served to us

Our server was so in tune with her tables. She circled around regularly to check on us and scoop up empties. She’s definitely the team player and knows how to efficiently work her trade. The food was delicious. Kids got their meals quick and scarfed it down. The cocktail drinks were top notch and properly made.

Basic pub food but not outstanding. Meals ordered were Santini Greek bowl with chicken option and red antler elk burger. The chicken that came with bowl was cut up cold chicken . On would have thought it would have been a hot chicken breast or similar cut. Also way to much pita compared to the amount of dip. Burger was mediocre and on the salty side.

Jay Jay was a terrific waitress! Exuberant, efficient and knowledgeable. Lots of vegan options for my friends who prefer this. Only wish they had a Pinot Grigio (not Gris) and a CabSav! A Sancerre would even be better!!

Ski Team dinner and birthday for one adult which I made a note to tell them but they did nothing. Our server seemed too busy to get more drinks we waited for about a hour for a drink. The food was great!!

The menu was different than the one listed here and had been changed from the last time we ate here. The change in the menu was a disappointment it was very different than our previous visits and returning for to the food we loved. The new menu is more of a bar style and much of the healthier items were no longer available.

This is one of my favorite sits at Silver Star. Whether it's on the couch for a hot tottie to warm up,... or a family dinner to celebrate a 19th birthday, it has all the feels and comforts of a cozy ski resort restaurant/pub.

Wing night is great at the red antler. We go up to silverstar in the afternoon for a snowshoe or ski then get beer and wings. Nice place and very good drinks

Despite a reservation booked a month in advance for our group of 8 ( I knew it would be busy as it was New Year’s Eve) we were sat at a tight table that was meant for 5. Looking around, other tables that could seat 8 easily and comfortably, were occupied by groups of 4 or 5. We did question this to staff but the reply was , this is what they have for us. Needless to say this experience greatly diminished my view of this once loved restaurant that we have been loyal to for quite a few years.
