   The reviews about the service are true. We made our reservation with this in mind, expecting a relaxed family brunch that might take longer than usual - filling the time with great conversation and wine of course! Started with a brunch cocktail, the Gin Fizz! It showed up without egg white (though shown on the menu) and on the rocks. I can put gin and lemon on ice at home so kindly asked to swap for a glass of white wine instead. With the first round at the table we ordered some calamari for an app. Not long after the server returned with a "remake of the gin fizz", I couldn't say no to that even if it didn't go great with the white wine. We put our food in and the rest of the table had a couple more rounds. The server let us know our app was on it's way out, woohoo!! Few more glasses of wine and another server stopped in to check on us... let him know we're still waiting on the calamari that was on it's way out (now 45 minutes from ordering). Our main server informed us our app ticket was lost and was coming right now. Not before our main dishes though, so when those were brought we let them know there was no need for an app any longer and to please cancel. They still brought it out anyway and gave a snarky "not so under the breath" comment when we said no thanks because we were already eating. The food was tasty - though excessively overpriced even for Temecula Wine Country. Server made sure to mention the appetizer was removed from the bill which was good, because we didn't get an appetizer. They charged for the gin fizz, but not the white wine replacement. I suppose that's fair since we drank both, though it's not what was asked for. Very solid 2 Stars.

   Stephanie and Dillon are top notch! Food is always fabulous and the secret off menu burnt orange chocolate bread pudding dessert, with a beautiful glass sherry wraps up a perfect experience

   I went in with low expectations after reading the other reviews and so we were pleasantly surprised that we had a very nice evening. We were there on a Saturday night and that means it was busy on the estate with the restaurant, a band, and a prom going on. If you are looking for something lively but not bar hopping where you can enjoy live music, this is for you. If you are looking for a quiet spot and intimate conversation- this is not the spot. The food was good. I’d rate it as 4-star food. Very tasty but not gourmet. But very enjoyable. We would come back here.

   So happy and blessed Mont Palmar Winery has beautiful views of the vineyards, my family and I celebrated my 60th birthday it was the prefect location the weather was nice, and sunny. The appetizers and dinner were exquisite!! I would definitely go back again!❤️💯

    We were very excited to try the food at Mount Palomar. The menu had many great-sounding options. However, after waiting a pretty long time, when our food finally arrived we were very disappointed. My mother-in-law ordered the cheesesteak panini and it had barely any meat on it. It was also missing the tomato, onion, and arugula. The chilaquiles were pretty much tortilla chips with potatoes. There were barely any beans or avocado. The mushroom flatbread barely had any mushrooms. However, we enjoyed the Sangiovese rosé very much and our waiter was very nice and accommodating.

    Prices were high on the regular menu.$30 for a hamburger and fries! We ordered from happy hour menu. Food was cold and not well prepared. A toasted cheese sandwich, all bread and the cheese wasn't melted. Very small portion of tomatoes bisque, lukewarm at best. The tacos were miniature. Happy hour drinks $15 and no wine on happy hour prices.

    Excellent food, service, and ambiance. We were there for lunch (party of 6). Had several dishes...started with truffle fries, charcuterie, calamari, and mushroom soup. Moved on to the garden salad and mushroom flatbread. Some of us had the short ribs, the pasta (Bolognese). shrimp skewers, and salmon toast. We finished with the s'mores and of course, all through the meal we had some Riesling. All the food and drink was excellent...as always.

    Love this place so much. Great energy, live music every weekend, great food, great wine, great service, great people, beautiful property, and dog friendly place. We've been here several times and more visits will happen again in the future. Highly recommend.

    We made a reservation, showed up a few minutes early. Had a hard time finding where to go to check in with a hostess (our first time at this restaurant). Found the hostess, got seated. 30 minutes went by with no one seeing us, not even bringing us water. I had to go find a bartender, who called over a waitress, who called over the original hostess, who supposedly alerted a waiter. I gave them our order, which they messed up, and our food started showing up slowly. Our waiter was very apologetic about taking so long to help us, and apologized many times through the meal. The main courses were very good. The ambiance would have been nice if the live band there turned down their volume a bit; we had to shout at each other to have any kind of conversation over dinner. Waiter was good, food was good, but probably won't come back.

    We came here because years ago we were here for my birthday celebration and loved it. 14 of us came for dinner and were seated inside a tented area. It wasn't even the main dining room. It looked fairly deserted though it took over 45 minutes just to get drinks served to us which most of us left at the table because they were terrible drinks. The food was a whole different disaster. Not only was everything very slow and horrible, they actually had the nerve to send out one of the short ribs meals with the PLASTIC over it basically letting us know that nothing is fresh, everything is microwaved and we were mortified. The chef came out to apologize which was nice but it really was not enough. Then the server dropped and broke glass on the table and barely wiped up around us. They tried to pass our 35% discount cards to the table and we left them sitting right there. We will not be visiting this place again. I don't know what's happening but management really needs to something. Servers looked miserable. Chef looked stressed and EVERYTHING was terrible. Highly disappointed.

    Made reservations and waited to be seated asked to sit inside the tent but were told they weren’t seating anymore inside but plenty of tables were available. Music was loud, not enough help for customers with reservations but plenty of help for wine tours. Took 45 minutes just to order food, ordered an appetizer and asked for plates to eat on and by the time we received plates we were done with appetizer. Waited an hour from that point to receive our food order but food was nothing special. BLTA sandwiches looked like sandwiches we could have made at home. Ready to be done and go but again waited longer than necessary for our bill. Needless to say very disappointed because we had eaten here before with no issues. Unfortunately will not be back.

    The place is beautiful, but the service is horrendous. Super, super slow. And the food today was so lack luster. Literally $27 for a sub par salad!? And the truffle fries had zero truffle flavor, and they cost $5 extra. Place is such a rip off. I’ve had better and cheaper meals at higher end places in Vegas.

    Overall, our dining experience was pretty bizarre. I booked a reservation for my husband and my wedding anniversary and called the night before to request a seat inside as it was supposed to be pretty chilly the night of our dinner. When we arrived, our first impressions of the restaurant were confusion and underwhelm. The restaurant itself seems to be in an open dining hall sort of building with very odd decor. We were greeted by a host that seemed like he had better places to be. I told him that we had a reservation and his first question was “are you OK with sitting outside?” which was strange since no other diners were out there, there were plenty of open tables inside and it was 50 degrees outside. I told him that we’d prefer a table inside and he said it would be about 20 minutes, which defeated the entire point of the reservation. We took a seat at the bar and sat for about 10 mins and weren’t approached by any staff during that point. The host then came over and moved us to our table. We were pretty disappointed to find that the New York strip that they feature on the online menu was not available as this is the entire reason that we chose the restaurant, as our go-to steakhouse is closed for renovation. We both ordered something else that sounded appetizing and the food overall was good but pretty over priced in my opinion. There were some pick ups during service but the waiter was nice and courteous so we didn’t mind. They did have live music being played outside which was nice however it was EXTREMELY loud. I mean loud like we couldn’t hear each other talk. I ordered a piece of carrot cake to go and much to my disappointment (again) once I got home and took a bite it was stale and honestly tasted like onions. Pretty sure it had been sitting uncovered in the fridge for a week before I paid $16 for a slice. We will definitely not be returning, not would we ever recommend this establishment to others. For an almost $200 dinner it was extremely disappointing.

    We were very pleasantly surprised by the food quality! The chef special of the day was AMAZING! The menu is compact, not a lot of options but what they have is great! Missed a little kids menu, our son loved the flatbread but still missed having at least another option for him. The wine was also very good. Place looks nice, the view from the restaurant is not the prettiest, I think they are under construction in the back. The hills and the wine tasting area are very nice.

    The restaurant reported us to Open Table as a no-show despite that we were actually at the restaurant. The gratuity of what we were charged is more that the 18% as stated on their website for a party of 6. Both our foods and drinks took a very long time. It was not a busy time when we booked our reservation. Our food took more than an hour to arrive and it was cold. I had the vegetable bolognese and it was very hard and salty. My friend asked for a well-done burger and it was medium. The rest of the food were fine. I also order the burrata for appetizer, I was charged $24 when it was supposed to be $19. Overall experience is not good.

    The food was outstanding. We ordered the grilled octopus and soba noodle salad. The octopus was tender & loved the sauce/potatoes that were served with it. The ahi was seared perfectly on the soba noodle salad and the fresh mix of veggies in it were a nice balance

    The vibe of this winery is amazing! There was a live band which made the night exciting, yet difficult to have conversation if that's what you're looking for. The waiter was kind and the hostess was very accommodating when we needed to move our reservation due to traffic. The only issues I had were that when we ordered a bottle of wine it was delivered uncorked and he didn't pour or let us try first (I know...first world issues), and we weren't informed they were closing soon so we had to rush to finish the bottle. Also, they were out of a lot of wines and the shrimp scampi was a little bland, good truffle fries though.

    The staff was amazing! I had a party of 8 which ended up changing to 13 and they were so gracious and patient with accommodating us. It’s a beautiful spot and it doesn’t get too crazy busy with people. They make sure to ask if you are celebrating a special occasion to make you feel special with a complimentary tiramisu cake 😋.
