   We made a reservation, showed up a few minutes early. Had a hard time finding where to go to check in with a hostess (our first time at this restaurant). Found the hostess, got seated. 30 minutes went by with no one seeing us, not even bringing us water. I had to go find a bartender, who called over a waitress, who called over the original hostess, who supposedly alerted a waiter. I gave them our order, which they messed up, and our food started showing up slowly. Our waiter was very apologetic about taking so long to help us, and apologized many times through the meal. The main courses were very good. The ambiance would have been nice if the live band there turned down their volume a bit; we had to shout at each other to have any kind of conversation over dinner. Waiter was good, food was good, but probably won't come back.

   We came here because years ago we were here for my birthday celebration and loved it. 14 of us came for dinner and were seated inside a tented area. It wasn't even the main dining room. It looked fairly deserted though it took over 45 minutes just to get drinks served to us which most of us left at the table because they were terrible drinks. The food was a whole different disaster. Not only was everything very slow and horrible, they actually had the nerve to send out one of the short ribs meals with the PLASTIC over it basically letting us know that nothing is fresh, everything is microwaved and we were mortified. The chef came out to apologize which was nice but it really was not enough. Then the server dropped and broke glass on the table and barely wiped up around us. They tried to pass our 35% discount cards to the table and we left them sitting right there. We will not be visiting this place again. I don't know what's happening but management really needs to something. Servers looked miserable. Chef looked stressed and EVERYTHING was terrible. Highly disappointed.

   Made reservations and waited to be seated asked to sit inside the tent but were told they weren’t seating anymore inside but plenty of tables were available. Music was loud, not enough help for customers with reservations but plenty of help for wine tours. Took 45 minutes just to order food, ordered an appetizer and asked for plates to eat on and by the time we received plates we were done with appetizer. Waited an hour from that point to receive our food order but food was nothing special. BLTA sandwiches looked like sandwiches we could have made at home. Ready to be done and go but again waited longer than necessary for our bill. Needless to say very disappointed because we had eaten here before with no issues. Unfortunately will not be back.

   We had a wonderful lunch on the patio. The music was enjoyable and the waitstaff attentive. We never felt rushed or ignored. Will be back.

   The place is beautiful, but the service is horrendous. Super, super slow. And the food today was so lack luster. Literally $27 for a sub par salad!? And the truffle fries had zero truffle flavor, and they cost $5 extra. Place is such a rip off. I’ve had better and cheaper meals at higher end places in Vegas.

   Overall, our dining experience was pretty bizarre. I booked a reservation for my husband and my wedding anniversary and called the night before to request a seat inside as it was supposed to be pretty chilly the night of our dinner. When we arrived, our first impressions of the restaurant were confusion and underwhelm. The restaurant itself seems to be in an open dining hall sort of building with very odd decor. We were greeted by a host that seemed like he had better places to be. I told him that we had a reservation and his first question was “are you OK with sitting outside?” which was strange since no other diners were out there, there were plenty of open tables inside and it was 50 degrees outside. I told him that we’d prefer a table inside and he said it would be about 20 minutes, which defeated the entire point of the reservation. We took a seat at the bar and sat for about 10 mins and weren’t approached by any staff during that point. The host then came over and moved us to our table. We were pretty disappointed to find that the New York strip that they feature on the online menu was not available as this is the entire reason that we chose the restaurant, as our go-to steakhouse is closed for renovation. We both ordered something else that sounded appetizing and the food overall was good but pretty over priced in my opinion. There were some pick ups during service but the waiter was nice and courteous so we didn’t mind. They did have live music being played outside which was nice however it was EXTREMELY loud. I mean loud like we couldn’t hear each other talk. I ordered a piece of carrot cake to go and much to my disappointment (again) once I got home and took a bite it was stale and honestly tasted like onions. Pretty sure it had been sitting uncovered in the fridge for a week before I paid $16 for a slice. We will definitely not be returning, not would we ever recommend this establishment to others. For an almost $200 dinner it was extremely disappointing.

   We were very pleasantly surprised by the food quality! The chef special of the day was AMAZING! The menu is compact, not a lot of options but what they have is great! Missed a little kids menu, our son loved the flatbread but still missed having at least another option for him. The wine was also very good. Place looks nice, the view from the restaurant is not the prettiest, I think they are under construction in the back. The hills and the wine tasting area are very nice.

    Took very long to receive our food and drinks each time. The mixed drinks were not very good. My husband and I payed almost $60 for a steak that tasted like Carne Asada that I grilled at my house

    If you visit it during the week it’s a perfect place for a date, with delicious drinks and food. And during the weekend it is perfect for spending time with friends.

    The restaurant reported us to Open Table as a no-show despite that we were actually at the restaurant. The gratuity of what we were charged is more that the 18% as stated on their website for a party of 6. Both our foods and drinks took a very long time. It was not a busy time when we booked our reservation. Our food took more than an hour to arrive and it was cold. I had the vegetable bolognese and it was very hard and salty. My friend asked for a well-done burger and it was medium. The rest of the food were fine. I also order the burrata for appetizer, I was charged $24 when it was supposed to be $19. Overall experience is not good.

    Can not recommend. I even stated it was our 40TH wedding anniversary and they didn’t even recognize it. May I suggest other wineries in Temecula.

    The food was outstanding. We ordered the grilled octopus and soba noodle salad. The octopus was tender & loved the sauce/potatoes that were served with it. The ahi was seared perfectly on the soba noodle salad and the fresh mix of veggies in it were a nice balance

    The vibe of this winery is amazing! There was a live band which made the night exciting, yet difficult to have conversation if that's what you're looking for. The waiter was kind and the hostess was very accommodating when we needed to move our reservation due to traffic. The only issues I had were that when we ordered a bottle of wine it was delivered uncorked and he didn't pour or let us try first (I know...first world issues), and we weren't informed they were closing soon so we had to rush to finish the bottle. Also, they were out of a lot of wines and the shrimp scampi was a little bland, good truffle fries though.

    The staff was amazing! I had a party of 8 which ended up changing to 13 and they were so gracious and patient with accommodating us. It’s a beautiful spot and it doesn’t get too crazy busy with people. They make sure to ask if you are celebrating a special occasion to make you feel special with a complimentary tiramisu cake 😋.

    I chose The Restaurant at Mount Palomar due to the numerous reviews stating they served the best food of all the wineries. Now that I've experienced it firsthand, I do believe it is true!! There were 5 of us and we ordered the octopus, shrimp pasta, mussels, charcuterie board, chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, green salad with salmon and we ended our meal with the tiramisu. Everything was delicious!! There was a wonderful sax player that played not only jazz, but R&B, soul, yacht rock, etc. He totally elevated the already fun and energetic ambiance! We even danced! We had the BEST time and can't wait to return! Highly recommend!

    We had an event at the winery and thought it would be great to eat there prior. We made reservations for 3:45 three weeks in advance. The day before the reservation, they called to say last seating is at 3:30. I said we will get there as soon as we can but may be a few minutes late. We arrived at 3:37 and were told they couldn’t seat us. I calmly explained how I spoke to sometime the day before and said we will order as soon as we are seated. Bad planning and bad communication on their part. If they gave me more notice, I would have made reservations somewhere else where we were more welcomed.

    Our family of 4 adults had a great lunch on a Sunday that reached 95 degrees. We all shared the charcuterie--great-tasting selection, beautifully presented. The mussels, burger were outstanding. Service by Angie and team were gracious and knowledgable. We loved the rieslings and purchased a wine membership and got 10% off our meal!

    Beautiful winery and the food is excellent! One of the few places that offers food in Temecula Wine Country and the food is very good compared to some of the other restaurants in local wineries.

    Although the outdoor temperature was near 100 degree, sitting outdoor under the umbrella with misters on was quite comfortable. Food are good. Wait staff are very friendly. A good place to go for lunch or dinner.

    Food took over an hour and 15 to come out. Excuse was that it’s because they cook everything “fresh”. Not sure that explains the 45 minute delay on fruit bowls and a child’s grilled cheese. My issue was less the delay in service and more the attitude that that was “normal”. Just apologize and move on.
