The entire experience was amazing from start to finish. What starts as an unassuming building at a winery with no sign turns into an unforgettable treat for your pallet! The food and wine pairings are the star of this off the beaten path gem!!
A hidden gem in Niagara wine country. Hesitant about revealing this treasure to others so as to keep this oasis in farm country our little secret. We loved the entire dining experience and look forward to our return visit.
The progression of the dishes was perfect. Each dish was materfully conceived and executed. Where most restaurants have a flaw or weakness, be it a dish out of place or the sweet course falling flat, the chef’s orchastrated a magnificent symphony of seamless courses. The choice of ingredients and imaginative techniques to hit all the right taste notes was perfect. The knowledgeable and extremely friendly staff made the whole experience exceptional. Congratulations on presenting one of the best meal experiences that we have had in many a year. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.
A bucket-list menu...beautifully presented, carefully created and so delicious. The chefs did a beautiful job for my vegetarian request, and my husband's meal (with meat) was fantastic. Be sure to go with the wine pairings, absolutely perfect!!!
No sir, please put away that 50 dollar bill!!!
Yes, it’s a 5 star winery tasting menu, and not cheap...where staff are on salary with full benefits. They don’t accept tips!!
So maybe NOT SO EXPENSIVE!
Very creative, excellent food.
The lack of signage, replaced by the red cardinal statue makes it feel like a secret speak easy...
Truly romantic and charming.
we had a truly culinary experience at the restaurant, food was very well thought , executed and presented. we had fin chatting with chiefs and cooks that were serving us. after dinner we had a tour of the kitchen . Overall it was a very special night
Delightful. Chefs created vegan offerings that were delicious, nutritious and fun to eat. Yum. A gem in Niagara Region. And the wines were fabulous! Well worth the trip to Jordan.
They are the epitome of amazing service !
Very knowledgeable, interesting and entertaining.
We eat out a lot and travel all over the world. I would say our experience at The Restaurant at Pearl Morissette, including food, atmosphere, service, wine and cost, was one of the best all around dinner experiences we have ever had. The place is simply spectacular.
Went here and really enjoyed the dining experience. We had an early seating and enjoyed the view out the window. The food and service was fantastic. A great restaurant that I would go back to and eat. The wine parings are a must and enhance the meal.
The staff at Pearl Morrissette are very pleasant and engaging. The kitchen staff often deliver the tasting items with a full explanation as to origin and how prepared.
A very different and enjoyable evening. Each course a different taste experience. We were there for 3 hours and did not feel at all rushed.
Tremendous. Excellent food, wine, and service in a beautiful space, on a beautiful property.
The hype is well justified - the perfect food experience! We spent 3 hours moving our way through the tasting menu and were blown away by each course. The ambiance of the space and the service that the staff provided were amazing. A very memorable meal!
Best meal I’ve ever had! The food is divine and the wine is out of this world fantastic. Don’t wait - just GO and try it!
The ambience and service make you feel like you’re on vacation somewhere luxurious!
One of the best meals we've ever had; the wine pairings were excellent as well.
A phenomenal meal filled with delicious seasonal produce, and every plate came with a story of their producer. A wonderful showcase of what Canada has to offer. Wine parings were on point, and recommendations from staff for our table were exactly what we were looking for. One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time.
The was an unexpected treasure. Everything was perfect: the room, the service, the wines, the food. Easily one of best meals this year ...and I get to dine the world's 50 best restaraunts....
It was a perfect experience, end to end. I already made reservations for next month.
Exceptional service and delicious food. Highly recommend to get their non-alcoholic pairing - very creative and well worth the $35!
One of the most memorable meals I have had. The staff was so professional and clearly passionate about what they were doing. The space itself was beautiful and the food was amazing. I can’t wait to return.
I learned about this restaurant from a co worker. Otherwise I never would have came across it. It was absolutely amazing. We enjoyed a delicious 10 course meal, three of which were dessert! It wasn't just a dinner but a total experience. I enjoyed how the chefs brought out each dish and explained how it was made. It's a great place to sit and chat and have some wine and slowly eat lots of gorgeous food.
Very eclectic spot. Interesting food if you are a foodie. Wine matched well
Overall I would have to say I am disappointed. After having waited for 6 weeks for the reservation I had high expectation. I have been to a number of restaurants with tasting menus now and this was my least favourite. Odd flavour combinations and of the 9 courses I really only really enjoyed 2 of them, and 2 were ok. The value is what is to be expected for a tasting menu, with expensive wine pairings, which I did not get, overall I would recommend other niagara tasting menus over this one and I likely won’t be coming back here. The service and atmosphere were great, just too bad about the flavours.
Our second time at this restaurant. It is outstanding and worth the drive!!!
I have never been to a restaurant like Pearl Morissette. It was my first blind tasting menu experience and I was incredibly impressed. Each course was presented and described in detail by one of the chefs. The wine pairing option is excellent and full of very interesting wines that you will likely not be able to find elsewhere. Pearl Morissette is well worth a visit.
If not all locallly sources/grown, majority of dishes were! Brought newborn baby and staff happily seated us in the corner with sufficient space. Food tasted fresh and was thoroughly thought thru. Note it’s a blind tasting menu so be prepared. Also traffic is typically horrible during the weekend so buffer an extra 30 mins of drive on a Saturday . Will def give another try in the winter.
My partner and I had such an amazing time visiting the restaurant at Pearl Morissette. We arrived 30 minutes before our reservation and enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar (a lovely sparkling honey wine and a PM riesling). We were seated at a window seat of our choosing, on either side of the restaurant. We chose to look over the pond, which gave us views of some farm animals and a beautiful evening sky.
Our evening unfolded perfectly from there. We chose to go with wine pairings with our tasting menu.. one PM wine with 4 international wines that went SO well with the beautiful food. The staff (ALL staff) were attentive, friendly and super knowledgeable, inviting questions and having great answers (in a very unpretentious manner might I add).. Amazing teamwork is present in this restaurant. Chefs and cooks will run the food out, and everyone was sure to give wonderful descriptions of what we were about to enjoy along with our wine pairing.
I can't say enough how much we enjoyed the food. It was so unique, beautifully prepared and the flavours were outstanding. I kept saying to my partner that I never wanted the evening to end. We ended up buying a bottle of PM Napa Valley Cab Sauv and enjoyed a glass at the end of our meal on the couch in their lovely little lounge area before corking the bottle and taking the rest home with us.
When the bill arrived, we noticed a humble little blurb in the corner informing us that they do not accept gratuity. As a hospitality professional myself, it felt strange to pay without leaving a tip, but we were ensured that this is a conscious decision made to elicit a group effort to make every guest experience exceptional...
If this is the secret to this level of service and quality of product, then I say we all to do with gratuities everywhere and take after this exceptional example that the team at Pearl Morissette put forth. Thank you for a wonderful evening that went far beyond both of our expectations.
One of best restaurants we have been to in Canada. It is clearly a place run by people dedicated to the highest quality of food and service. An outstanding experience.
Best tasting / wine pairing ever!
Some interesting menu items, but there were some misses inthe unusual combinations. Why garnish with sedum and purslane for the novelty when there are so many other more conventional and tastier greens to use?
Wow!! That's really all I can say. My wife and I went for a date night here and it was simply superb! The blind menu was great. We requested no fish or seafood and they gladly obliged. The timing of each course was perfect, the food creativity was through the roof and the service was top notch! I really wish we could've tipped because they deserved a large one. The building itself is one of a kind, you'd never know a place like this was there or could even exist. We loved our experience here and highly recommend you come and experience it for yourself. Thank you to everyone who showed us a great evening there!
Excellent food and great wine pairing. Room was very warm with little too no air movement
The space is beautiful. The wine pairing was exquisite. Attentive service, and a nice tasting menu.
Now the sole reason to go to Niagara. Best wine, best ambiance, insanely imaginative and quality food.
Outstanding food and service. Very reasonable price for this level. Great wines and local beers. Almost all indredients grown on site or sourced nearby. Amazing restaurant well worth the drive.
Absolutely outstanding. If they were reviewed by the Michelin Guide, they would get at least one star, if not two.
