One of the best eating experiences of my life, and of course the wine was amazing.
A beautiful setting and even better meal.
Excellant in all areas
Gorgeous space with an abundance of natural light. We opted for the 5 course Lunch (which as per most tasting menus translates to about 9 dishes!) and every bite was executed beautifully. Each plate was both visually stunning and made with delicious, high quality ingredients, making it clear that the Chefs take the same pride and attention to detail in their food as François Morissette does with his award winning wines.
As it was lunch, we opted against the wine pairing and instead relied upon our server to choose individual glasses to compliment the meal (and our tastes) and we were thrilled with his choices.
Our only criticism was that the pace could have been sped up ever so slightly. The overall experience was phenomenal, but at over 3hrs, we found that we glanced at our watches a few too many times.
Still, highly recommended and the best meal we’ve had in the Niagara area by a long shot.
Unbelievable experience. Unique, local plates. Amazing service.
Absolutely Exceptional. Rivals Michelin Starred restaurants of New York and Chicago, Even Europe. Cannot wait to return.
The best food I’ve eaten in the Niagara region in a very long time.
Creative, flavourful, completely “wowed “ me.
Everything was absolutely perfect! My husband and I went for my Birthday Dinner and were very impressed. The food and wine pairings were amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. You can tell they are passionate in what they do both in terms of food and wine. They even quietly came out with a candle to wish me Happy Birthday which I appreciated. We are looking forward to returning in the near future!
Lots of interesting ingredients and flavours. Presentation of food was wonderful and it was fun having the chef explain each course.
Exceeded our expectations. Everything was exquisite.
Our recent visit indicated that the PM team is constantly improving. The food was excellent. Overall, a bit expensive for an everyday outing but very reasonable for 'special occasions' given the quality and effort evident in the food preparation/presentation.
Our third visit at the restaurant. Like before, exceptional food, great service and very interesting wines with the wine-pairing option. A real gem.
It was my boyfriends birthday, we had a lovely table and got to see the ducks have their end of the day swim. It was a lovely view and a great experience.
Fabulous food and exceptional service
This was probably one of the best meals we have had in Canada. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and could not have picked a better place. We chose the 5 course tasting menu which is always a little bit of a risk but in this case was exceptional. Each course was very well put together in both flavour combination and appearance. On this particular day the journey began with a Seared Scallop and was followed by Grilled Beets with Yoghurt & Lamb Jus, an amuse bouche of an Oyster in Ham Broth, Potato with Arugula, Pickerel with Winter Spinach, Smoked Duck with Black Mushrooms, Kale & Berries, Rhubarb Sorbet and finished with a divine Apple Cake with Sour Cream & Rosehip.
Each course was delicious but the star of the show was the Apple Cake.
The menu changes constantly depending what is in season so we will absolutely return during a different season. We would definitely highly recommend this restaurant as one of the best in Southern Ontario.
A gem for the entire Golden Horseshoe and beyond. Worth a special trip!
Outstanding in every aspect. One of the best in Canada. This has replaced Norwood's on Vancouver Island as my favourite restaurant.
This is one of THE best restaurants I have been to in Canada. Not only was the food fantastic, but the wine pairings were sensational and the ambiance was terrific.
An outstanding dining experience in every way and truly not to be missed-fabulous and creative food, equally good wine pairings including many of the winery’s own, attentive and informed service in a beautiful setting. Loved that the co-chef’s presented many of the courses and talked about their inspiration and sourcing for each dish. It was a memorable 70th birthday dinner for my husband and all of us who joined him. Thanks again team Pearl Morrisette!
Our best dining experience ever. From the ambience to the service and the incredible food and wine it was superb. The dedication to the craft of excellent wine and food is inspiring. We cannot wait to return.
Fantastic experience, unique and a great addition to the area.
Absolutely incredible experience! This is probably the best dining experience I have ever had in my entire life. I have nothing but good things to say and I would highly, highly recommend it to ANYONE. Food, service, wine pairings, music, atmosphere etc. were all beyond five stars. We are lucky to have a place like this in Niagara. Definitely worth it!!!!
It was such a special discovery getting into the property and into dining room. The service and food experience was delicious and perfectly timed
Food, service and presentation were all excellent, will definitely visit again.
Great experience! Really enjoyed every aspect of the lunch my wife and I had at the restaurant. Food, wine and service were all top notch. Will recommend to friends and will definitely be back.
Probably one of the two best tasting menus we've ever had, beautifully marrying texture and taste. The wine pairings were also excellent and highlighted both local and international brands. Impeccable service as well.
Appetizers although imaginative lacked layers of flavoring. Fish dish, raw halibut with pickled asparagus looked good but also lacked balance/depth of flavors. The oysters course and pork neck were excellent. Service was good. Ambiance is great,. Room is modern, comfortable and inviting. A good start to a very new restaurant but definitely room for improvement. Its obvious the talent is there to evolve the place into a great restaurant.
The hospitality was outstanding and the ambience was lovely. The food was good, but the chefs could focus on developing bolder and more assertive flavours. These flavours would pair better with the wine selections and offer a better dining experience.
Very high end dining, with exquisite attention to detail. Stopped for the 3 course lunch, and added the optional cheese course. Make sure you add the wine pairing selection for a great experience. Easily able to adapt to my dietary restriction with advance notice.
The staff were attentive, the food was tasty and beautifully presented but portions were laughably tiny and pretentious. The food did not make up for the price of the meal. The wine was delicious but we were disappointed our server did not warn us it was not available for purchase. Part of reason for going was to taste the wine before placing an order. Too many good restaurants in Niagara area, would not return.
The service, food, and atmosphere were amazing! Very creative.
Simply put: astounding. World-class.
The space.
The service.
The wine.
THE FOOD.
Not a single thing out of place.
Will certainly return seasonally to see what magic they have in store.
Our visit was lunch with friends. As expected, we did not know what was being served until it was presented at the table. It was nice that each dish was presented by the chef who created it and could speak to it. Each course was very creative and delicious. It was a lovely lunch.
We asked for a wine pairing and were pleaesd with the selections.
It was also nice to be given a copy of the menu to take home so the 'foodie talk' could continue. I would suggest adding the names of the wines served with each course.
We will be recommending this restaurant to other 'friends and foodies'.
This is a lovely restaurant but the portions are mini. The first course was a dime sized scallop followed by halibut which was the size of two quarters. Thank God for the bread! The final course was pig neck (yikes) and was also very small. The wines were delicious but very skimpy. The bill for four people was well over $450. The dessert was a dollop of ice cream infused with oats. A little too precious for me. The wait staff was very friendly and our wine tasting afterwards was fantastic. Save your money and buy wine instead.
Outstanding end to end!
Finally got to the Restaurant at Pearl Morissette and WOW! The food was amazing. The flavours were exceptional and the wine pairings were perfect. The staff were friendly and accommodating and they took great care to describe the dishes and the wines. While the price tag was steep, it was well worth it and I am reminded that you get what you pay for. This restaurant is a great addition to the fine dining establishments that Jordan Station has to offer. Congratulations to the team and I look forward to seeing you again.
A fantastic restaurant and tasting menu. From the warm welcome to our departure it was probably the best dining experience we have had since attending Michelin starred restaurant in Europe. The tasting menu was exquisite. The flavours burst in your mouth. The accompanying wine with each course was a perfect accompaniment. One of our group had indicated an allergy to scallops and the restaurant made a special course for him. What a wonderful experience. We will be sure to return .
Stunning room, lovely service and very special food and wine. We were conflicted to only be able to make it for a Sunday lunch, but it was so nice to be able to see the property (which we would have missed if we were able to come in the evening). Unlike anything I’ve experienced in Niagara or PEC wine country. Cannot wait to come back for dinner when the days are longer ❤️
From the arrival until the very end of the meal, the level of professionalism of the whole team dazzled us. The tasting menu has its share of discovery of flavours and technique, it is all in honour of the chefs. All the dishes are presented by the chefs who, by placing the plates in front of us, take time to explain these particularities, but also to answer our questions. A wonderful evening and we cannot wait to return.
Superb service and excellent cuisine. Delightful. Idiosyncratic wine list but very interesting.
