   Made reservations on line a few days ahead. Plans Changed and I needed a lot more seating (Son on leave/visiting From the Air Force. I called hours before and Piper took amazing care of us. Great food and awesome service.

   The staff were very nice. They were very busy the night we were there, but they worked hard to keep up with all the tables. The food was excellent. Also, I have a gluten intolerance and the waitress worked with the chef to help me choose an appropriate dish.

   Was in area for UK graduation. Perfect location for our group of 9 that wanted a semi-quiet place to have dinner away from the busyness of Lexington. Food was good and staff was very friendly! Beautiful drive out to the restaurant. A good ending to our graduation celebration!

   The drive to get to this restaurant was beautiful! The restaurant was fine, its a golf clubhouse type restaurant so it met my expectations, knowing it would be nothing fancy but good food. The hostess was nice and seated us in the dining room at a table for two next to a wall with no views. We were the only people in the restaurant at the time 6 PM {only five other diners came in while we were there} and I think it would have been nice if she had seated us at a bigger table with a view of the really nice course and beautiful area since they had no business. Our server... Luke? was very good and attentive. We loved the beer cheese and warm pretzel bites! My husband ordered a burger and requested ketchup, of which he received ketchup packets which I thought was really tacky for a restaurant with white tablecloths! I had the meatloaf which was good. Overall, the restaurant was good but not sure I would go back unless in that area looking for a place to eat. We drove there from Lexington.

   We went to the WOODFORD CLUB for the Easter buffet. The food was outstanding with many options for everyone including my vegetarian sister. The service was great and we would highly recommend this restaurant for a special night out or for a quick bite to eat in the Tavern!

   This was not what we expected. We had a reservation. The hostess asked which room we wanted. There was no one in the dining room and only a couple in the bar area. She asked if the bar area was okay. We said yes. 10 minutes into dinner a large group of golfers came to the bar. It was so noisy my husband and I couldn't hear each other talk. Thankfully they left after 30 minutes. The food was good. Service was slow and sometimes needed reminders. Might be a nice lunch place but not great for date night.

    The food was outstanding. Was expecting a bit more mature ambiance. If you sat in the large room with all the windows overlooking the golf course and had a large gathering of families with kids, you would think you were at a Gatti Land.

    We ate here with another couple for New Years Eve. The food was SO GOOD!! The waitress was incredibly sweet. The price was great. Even on a busy night, they were quick. We will definitely be eating there again.

    My husband and I were in the Lexington area today and had the most delicious food!! We posted photos of some of our food here,but not all of them. I loved my shrimp cocktail and juicy and flavorful burger. I especially loved their homemade pickles! My husband really enjoyed his chicken wings, the homemade hot sauce, and truffle/parmesan fries. We sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed our time visiting with the very friendly bartender/server (Jenay and Elizabeth) and chef (Tommy) who stopped by to visit. The service was perfect along with the food. I also loved my Sauvignon Blanc wine and bourbon with the delicious dessert. Everything is house made, made to order, and very good. We will definitely be going back for more delicious food very soon! Thank you!!!!!

    The Woodford Club is always a wonderful treat! The food is very high quality and is always so good. For this particular visit, we were with friends for our annual pre-Christmas outing. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and it was a relaxing and laid back environment to celebrate in. Drinks from the bar were perfectly made - not too weak, not too strong. Food was hot and fresh and was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The service was very friendly and attentive. Woodford Club is a hidden gem in our community - highly recommended!

    It was worth the drive from Danville. The food was exceptional-steaks cooked to perfection. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts were delicious. Our Server, Michael, was helpful, efficient and a joy to meet.

    Everything from start to finish was wonderful. Arwin was are serve she was helpful and very personable. Her mother (didn’t her name) but she was are bartender and was awesome as well. Would highly recommend, the food was amazing!!!

    Unfortunately this place did not make a good impression. The fact that you can make a reservation is misleading. The place was EMPTY during Saturday lunch. First impression was the old smell and look of the place and the fact that no one else was dining. We didn’t want to be rude so we ordered an appetizer that wasn’t anything special and a cocktail. There bourbon selection was lacking as well. Don’t waste your time.

    We sat at the bar to eat. Our bartender was terrific. He took the time to not only give us good information on our food choices but he also gave us a brief education on Kentucky bourbons. It really made our night.

    Comfortable outside dining. Not the posh club you may expect but nice. Dining room reminded me of a nursing home. Needs more warmth. The bar area was nice enough and our server, Arlen? Or something close to that. (I'm sorry I butchered your name) was outstanding! Personable and efficient. Loved the care she put into her position.

    I was greeted with a warm welcome by name. Beautiful setting. The appetizers of tater bombs and beer cheese pretzels were very tasty. Wait staff was attentive and manager very friendly. The chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries were good. It was a wonderful last night visiting family before we headed back to California.

    Server was attentive, but food and drink service was very slow. Appetizers of ham biscuits and fried oysters were great. Old fashion and mules were very well done. Catfish blackened / fried were both dry and over cooked, slaw was avg at best, fries were top notch. Steak Diane was incredible and so far the crowd pleaser. Banana pudding and peanut butter pie were both very good. Overall, not a bad dining experience but would say over priced.

    We arrived with a reservation for Mothers Day. We were seated in the bar at the only table in the entire place without a decorative white cloth while others sat in the decorative dining room or at a dressed table. The entire place wreaks of raw sewage from the second you step thru the door. We were not instructed or directed to buffet, I literally had to go ask the bartender what we were supposed to do. The selection of food was good and overall the food tasted good. The salmon was not warm at all and neither was the pork. There were only two options on buffet for dessert and one was small brownies that appeared they were taken out of a freezer and cut seconds before. So cold & hard it was nearly impossible to bite thru them. People working there were dressed as if they were at a soccer game or just came from one. Regret this is where we took my mother today. Don’t intend to return.

    After not being able to get into several of our favorite restaurants in Lexington on Derby day (and UK graduation day), I stumbled upon a listing for The Woodford Club and thought I'd give it a shot for a combined graduation/early Mother's Day dinner for four. I'm glad I did. Although the ambiance is a little plain as mentioned in other reviews, everything else was outstanding. The entrees (ribeye, sirloin, salmon and chicken) were seasoned well and cooked to order. The server was pleasant and attentive, but not intrusive. Although the restaurant was not crowded, I appreciate the fact that the tables are spread apart instead of stacked on top of each other like at so many other restaurants. This place is a hidden gem, and I'll definitely be back!

    We went after my daughter’s graduation that also happened to be during the Kentucky Derby. We were glad to have 2 large TVs to watch the race. The Kentucky Hot Brown was really good! Several in our party ordered steak it was good but not great. Overall a very good experience and we would eat here again if in the area.
