Wonderful experience! Food was delicious…these folks know how to prepare fish! Our party of 4 was very happy! I had the Halibut and it was absolutely delicious!! My husband had fettuccine and he loved it! The special cocktails menu is interesting and really good. I had the French 75. Perfectly mixed. We have been to the bar previously but never eaten in the beautiful dining room. Highly recommend!

Prime steakhouse prices at incredibly lackluster service. We arrived early and were seated at a table over 15 minutes late. When our server arrived we said we would like to see a desert menu as well. We ended up asking another server an hour later. I specifically asked if the potatoes had scallions. I was assured they did not. The potatoes were covered in scallions. The food runner dropped off our meal without a word. Our server finally arrived after we were halfway done to "check" on is which was laughable. We had one drink each due to failure of service staff to actually ask if we needed anything. We finally got desert which was "carrot cake". The carrot cake was the size of a small brownie and tasted of pumpkin and coconut. One would be far better served to go to Bobs or Bourbon Steak for the price and service.

The Riverhouse was phenomenal! I can’t say how much we enjoyed the ambiance, the food, and the service. Fabulous menu and really cool vibe. The bar is a total ‘20s vibe. Do yourself a favor and go now! Jia was our server and she was amazing! We will certainly be back!

Had the pleasure to dine at The River House for Thanksgiving this year. They had a wonderful prefix meal option with all the traditional favorites very classically prepared Southern style. It was comfort food at its best without the pretentious or extravagance of many finer restaurants at the holidays. Service was attentive, staff was kind and courteous; and cocktails were excellent. Will definitely be back. Over this place.

Loved the valet parking! So easy. It was so nice to eat in a restaurant where you can actually have a conversation and not have to shout over the music or the noise. My waygu burger was excellent, as were the popovers. Highly recommend! I'll go back.

Loved this dining experience! The cocktails and food were a 10! Simple and elevated - literally everything was amazing. The table-side caesar salad for 2 is a must. Cool bar. The staff was professional and the setting/decor is city-cool! First time - but definitely recommend it!

This was announced standing dinner. My husband had the beef Wellington, and it was cooked to perfection. I had the Parmesan haddock so GOOD!!! Brussels sprouts and sweet potato casserole completed the meal. Forgot we got popovers that melted in your mouth. Server was Kyle who was the best and attentive. Valet parking makes it so easy.

Valet parking closed halfway through our meal and said if we didn’t claim the car then we would not be able to get it until the morning. That was at 10pm. Ridiculous. Service great but food very average. Would not go back.

Food was pretty good. The service was very slow. Other tables ordered after us and were finished eating before we received our food. Server never checked on us unless we flagged her down. Other servers were constantly checking on their tables. Just bad server night.

This is our second time dining here in the last month. Beautiful restaurant with fabulous service both times. This visit was for a birthday and they definitely went out of their way to recognize that and make us feel special. Food is always delish!

Best ribeye I’ve had in sometime! The lobster bisque, corn soufflé, and whipped potatoes were all amazing! My MIL loved her parm crusted halibut (saying it was the best she’s ever had)! Food was definitely 5 stars! The service was underwhelming, and they seemed understaffed for a busy Saturday night. We will definitely return!

It was our Anniversary and our first time at the River House. We have been to multiple fine dining restaurants in Nashville and this has to be our top 3. Austin was our service and though he was obviously busy, he kept up with our table. I had lamb chops which were cooked a little to medium rare for me, but they were seasoned so perfectly. My girlfriend also enjoyed her crab cake. I cannot forget our calamari we had to start; it’ s definitely a 9/10. It’s good quality, but I think it’s still A bit overpriced. We would recommend going though.
