Since taking over the venue, we have been working hard to transform the building into a truly special pub, restaurant and coffee house.

Took ages to even be offered a drink…and restaurant wasn’t busy at all. Food arrived quickly though once it was ordered.

Everything was fine, but the beef (cheek?) was the most horrible thing I've seen on a plate in a very long time and I left most of it. I think it was reconstituted beef - it was uniform in shape (my husband ordered it too), and on close inspection, looked like long pile carpet, with fibres of beef all stacked up against each other. It was covered in a thick sweet sauce. The waiter said the chef used a lot of redcurrant jelly in the gravy. Please rethink this dish - the vegetables and indeed everything else we had at lunch as a table of 4 was very good, and the usual standard we expect at this venue. I'll continue to recommend it to friends but will suggest they avoid this dish

We had a very nice Roast Sunday Lunch. Service was good and cheery. It was a cold day and the temp in the restaurant could have higher, otherwise it was good,

Pizza was great. The prawn and squid linguine had too many sun dried tomatoes in for my taste - it dominated the more delicate taste of the shellfish/squid. Cake was great, as was coffee and wine, thanks.

Great roast Sunday lunch. Roast potatoes were flavourful, and all other veg were excellent, lovely gravy. Lots of beef but a little tough. Great yorkshires. Nice pudding and excellent coffee. Very friendly and attentive staff

First visit to Dunblane having previously dined at Stirling & Doune linked restaurants. Really friendly, helpful staff. Went with Mains and Desserts. All excellent and good value.

We had a really enjoyable meal here on a Saturday evening. The scallops with black pudding were excellent and the chicken with haggis was also very tasty. I loved the Mediterranean salad and was delighted to find plenty of vegetables included as part of all the dishes we ordered, which in my experience is unusual in Scotland. The beer was also very good and the service was also excellent. If we are in Dunblane again we will definitely visit this restaurant again.

Always a joy to visit for food and coffee. The veggie breakfast was delicious and nice and hot. Certainly a favourite place to visit when we are in the area. Highly recommended.

Good location and ambiance. Staff very friendly. We had an early booking so didn't have to wait long for food. My only gripe would be the value. I felt the dishes were priced slightly on the higher side but in particular the salad. It read well on the menu but the small size and being mostly leafy greens made it seem very expensive.
