   Roaring Rolls has terrific food and the service staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I believe one of the service was the owner and she provided great recommendations for dietary concerns and for top dishes. Second time coming, and we'll be back again!

   Our favourite dish was the Dal makhani bowl, which we had with roti. The Amritsar fish appetizer was good, too, but would be even better with less salt in the fish batter. We did not prefer the butter chicken bowl as it was very sweet. Service, as usual, was very attentive. The wine list commendably focused on inexpensive bottles. However they need to add one or two more wines to the list. Ambience was cozy and charming.

   Wish you had more than one fish/seafood option on the menu. The only one I saw was breaded. Would love fish or prawns in a nice masala sauce, a tomato based sauce, no breading, no crème. Would be a nice addition for fish/seafood lovers. Otherwise, love your food, and your place:)

    Our experience at Roaring Rolls was disappointing. The prices, the food and service were all severely lacking. For the price and the Google ratings, we expected so much more. It was recommended to make a reservation but the restaurant was empty between 6:30 and 7:45. The service was very slow and inattentive - water glasses were empty for quite some time and there were many used dishes left on the table and not cleared away. The food was very over priced and every dish had too much sugar, including the naan. The roti was not cooked throughout - it was raw in the center. The traditional dishes were underwhelming and generally lacked flavor, other than overly sweet from added sugar. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

    This food was EXCELLENT. It was the best meal we had in Canmore. The variety of dishes and flavor was incredible and we loved everything we tried. The spice level was spicy without being too spicy. Cocktails were also great - including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Will definitely go back and also recommend to anyone heading to that area. We were also there on Valentine's Day which can always be a scary time to go to any restaurants. The team was attentive and the food was great- so the meal is even more impressive given the "holiday."

    This modern Indian restaurant has raised my standards of tastes, designs, and service when it comes to dine in food. Although this place is fairly young, the quality, professionalism, and design of the store are excellent throughout. It’s only been a month since I’ve first encountered this place but even so, I have already driven from Calgary to Canmore just for the Roaring Rolls restaurant a total of 4 times. This place is worth the drive and I can’t wait to have another TRR Mango Mule- seriously off the charts!

    We were a little early for our reservation, but there were empty tables. This was the first time ever that a restaurant asked us to leave and come back at the reserved time. It was strange, because when we came back 15 minutes later, we got the exact same table that we had seen empty earlier. Based on the time it took for our order, highly unlikely that someone could have had their dinner in 15 minutes. So didn’t see the point of asking us to leave. Anyway, the food wasn’t bad.

    Everything from the start to finish of our evening was absolutely amazing. We had the zero proof strawberry and blueberry cocktails they were so delicious! The food came out hot and perfectly cooked! Flavours were on point! And all of the staff was extremely friendly, kind, prompt and helpful! 100% will be back and will recommend!

    I would say best restaurant of Calgary. Food was amazing with great ambience. Quantity was balanced. I will highly recommend to try this restaurant if you are visiting Banff or Canmore.

    Wow, what a fantastic find. This was some of the best Indian food we have ever had, and our family eats it a lot. We started with the Bombay potatoes, which were incredible. Don't skip them. The mix of flavors and spices was exquisite. Next we had the Chicken tikka kabob, which, again, was so much better than the usual kabob at most places. Everything else was fantastic too. I can't recommend it highly enough. Also, we had drinks which were exceptionally good. I can't tell you to order them because they were a holiday special (Negroni sour), but I'm sure the rest of their drinks are probably equally good. This place is just way better than it needs to be and I wish we had anything even approaching it at home. Thanks!

    Roaring rolls is tucked in a mall in Canmore, easy to miss from the outside. We were super impressed with our experience on the inside! The atmosphere is warm, fun and perfect for cocktails and great food. The food was delicious and owners were so friendly and service oriented. Will be back again!

    Wonderful owner, very personable. Offers traditional Indian items, but also offers a wide range of selections that you would not find at other Indian restaurants. Haas Avocado Chaat was very flavorful. Malai Chicken Tikka melted in your mouth it was so tender and paired with a great salad. Paneer Makhanwala was excellent creamy fish with rice and the paneer was lovely. The Chai was homemade and the cardamom warmed you on a cold night. Will definitely return!
