The Rockfort Authentic Chettinadu & Indian Cuisine
REFUSED TO TAKE OPEN TABLE VOUCHER, should be removed from Open Table
Very good food and lots of variety, will definitely be back! The pepper crab is awesome!
The food at Rockfort was excellent as always, however for it being Valentine's Day when the restaurant was super busy - an extra couple or two servers would have been have been good - then the last naan we ordered would not have been forgotten/late and we would have been very happy....
Good food, good value, friendly service. However, between the décor and the bright lighting it felt more like a cafeteria than a restaurant. Good for very casual dining only.
Very surprising and creative menu. Great service and reasonable prices. We will be back.
The food was okay! Like the best south indian I have had is in Savoy but this one is close second! The jingarat beverage was amazing. We went at 9.30 and hence the servers were rushing on for us to finish! But overall good food!
Fresh ingredients make this a very good restaurant. It is in a south indian style but has a few north Indian dishes too. Not too busy yet. A little hard to see sign for restaurant so pay attention. It is in a corner and not on directional signs.
Family birthday celebration
The food was outstanding. Anything we ordered was delicious. I wish I could remember the names of the dishes. We would definitely go there again!
We really enjoyed the food and service. The menu covers a variety of options from India both the north and the south. The things we are more familiar with where from the north but it was really interesting to try some of the local cuisine from the south that we were less familiar with.
One of my absolute favourite places to eat. The service is lovely every single time and I am always wanting to go here but have the desire to try new places. Definitely worth it every time.
I can say this: We will definitely be back to the Rockford! Turns the chefs were originally from Raj Palace downtown and Country Hills locations. They recognized my family and I.
It's a very nice restaurant space with a wide window where you can watch the chefs in action. The restaurant also has an excellent air venting system. The air is fresh and all you can smell is your wonderful food at your table!!
We ordered Prawn Dosa, Paneer Dosa and Chicken Dosa. Beautiful, crisp, & light lentil crepes with sambar and 2 other dipping dosa sauces.
Also ordered the Chicken Biryani for takeaway. Comes with raita.
We loved the food and were impressed at the big portion sizes.
Amazing food amazing customer service . Definetly going back again
Staff truly are welcoming, polite, and attentive.
Food choices are plentiful and food is very good.
Perhaps one of the best Indian restaurants in Calgary.
