    The food was great value for the Sunday roasts. However two strips of meat wasn't enough in my eyes where the veg was the main part of the plate. The food was not hot but warm and soon went cold so its definitely something they need to improve on. Overall it was nice that could have had a few tweaks to make it great.

    Nice food, however we had a table booked for 8:00pm was not seated until 8:25pm and had to wait 40mins for food.

    Not a huge choice for vegetarians - I had the veggie burger. The actual burger was a bit watery but the rest of the flavours were good. My friends had pizzas and said they were great

    Had a amazing evening with lovely food,, think it would be nice to have some local ales on offer to advertise local micro brewerys, but that's just me... highly recommended..

    Another great night at the rolling mill with the girls, as always food and service was on point! I had the mushroom soup, and the beef cheek stew both were absolutely divine, Thank you to our server Dan who was very attentive, looked after us very well.

    Good food in a nice atmosphere with good mix of of diners of all ages. Been here twice now, once on my own then as a couple. Always service with a smile. So many places seem to have a problem with lone diners here certainly didn't. I came back a second time so they must be doing something right.

    Enjoyed our experience I was with two other family members and we were all impressed with the general atmosphere. We were greeted by a friendly helpful host and didn’t have to wait too long for our food. Food was beautifully presented but one roast dinner had vegetable item missing, small matter, but it was my husband’s and he always notice and feel deprived if he feels left out. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Wider range of desserts would have helped with the options. An overall good experience and I will definitely come again.

    Sunday roast was absolutely wonderful. Ambience excellent. Service friendly but had to double ask for a drinks and the bill because maybe slightly understaffed. Outside of that though, a lovely meal. Will be visiting again for sure.

    We had a great time at Rolling Mill. Service was outstanding and very attentive, food was great - understand it was the new menu and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. a great range of drinks for us to choose from. We really enjoyed our experience - thanks to everyone who looked after us!

    We had a lovely evening at The Rolling Mill with my partner on a busy early Saturday evening. We both agreed that the atmosphere was really nice, the staff members were professionals and organised; the service was pretty good. For starters we shared The soft shell taco’s with beef short rib, which was the highlight of the dinner, it was absolutely delicious. For mains we had the Buttermilk fried chicken burger with fries and the TRM beef and bacon burger and upgraded to triple cooked chips. The chicken burger was tasty, the fries were good. The Triple-cooked chips was disappointingly greasy. Unfortunately, we had to send back the burger to the kitchen as it wasn’t thoroughly cooked. After cutting it in half we noticed that one of the beef patties was pink inside. Our waitress was very professional, took it back to the kitchen and they cooked a fresh burger. To finish we had a scoop of Movempick Caramelita ice cream, which was very tasty as expected; and the Croissants bread & butter pudding was good too but the custard on the side was a bit thin. Overall it was a good experience, again the atmosphere was very enjoyable. Maybe the air freshener in the restaurant should be adjusted to lower levels, it was a bit strong for a food environment. We would happily return to try the other meals from the menu.

    The venue is great. Brilliant atmosphere. Service was good and so was the food. However, I was slightly disappointed by the quality and quantity of the leg of lamb I had from the Sunday. I had it medium but it was very fatty and the portion was small. I complained and was told she would let the kitchen know. There was no attempt to replace or refund any money off the bill which I found odd.

    Had a lovely pre gig meal on Saturday early evening. We were on the mezzanine level and had some delicious food and excellent service from the lovely Becky, she was really polite, helpful, efficient and fun. It enhanced our experience and I would love to go there again if we are ever in Birmingham again. I recommend the loaded fries with added beef, simply moreish!

    Menu was varied and the only option that I liked the idea of but wasn't available was the minted lamb burger. Instead I tried the lamb koftas and didn't regret it. It was lovely and a good portion size. For dessert I fancied a treacle sponge but only a ginger sponge was on the menu. I tried it and was blown away. It wasn't cheap but the portion size and the quality of the sponge meant I was very happy. That will be my go to the next time I done there!!!

    The food was excellent but unfortunately the waitstaff were very unfriendly and made you feel inconvenient. It was also quite loud which made conversation difficult. The food was excellent in quality but the starters were very small in size.

    Saturday lunch, had reserved a table and were shown to it immediately. Drinks order taken with sufficient time given to us to make our meal choices. Good selection of dishes with fixed price 2 and 3 course menu options available. Excellent food, 2 pizza’s, lamb kofta and chicken schnitzel well presented and good portion size. Overall good value, great service and the venue amazing.

    Went on a Sunday especially to have a roast dinner as had heard they were excellent, table @ 5.30 to be told no Sunday lunches left, very disappointed! If you’re going to offer Sunday lunch the least you can do is get enough stock in to feed anyone who wants it. The food we had was good but wouldn’t go again.

    We didnt get the high top seating that we booked but happy to sit on the lower level. I found it very quiet for the time of day. Food was lovely!, party of 10 and we all enjoyed our food so well done to chef!. We found the drinks to be a bit pricey but not enough for us not to return. Following the food we all became very warm and asked to be seated by the door which allowed in some fresh air.. Staff were very accomodating.

    Service was terrible. Lack of awareness of customers. Server carried drinks over by hand (contrary) and subsequently spilt most of them along the way. Had to ask for Ice and a slice in gin and tonic. Starter was cold. Finished plates left on table for over 30 mins. Wasn’t even busy. Will not be in a hurry to return.
