Brought to you by Chris & Michele Redding, the owners of Cuckoo's Chicken House & Waterin' Hole and The Animas City Theatre, The Roost opened June 12, 2018, offering affordable, casual dining in a fun, downtown location. Our seasonal menu offers a wide variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and entrees, prepared by Chef Dave Cuntz, Colorado Restaurant Association's Chef of the Year 2021. Pair your meal with a glass of wine, craft beer or signature cocktail. Finish your meal with one of Nana Pat's Cookie Dough Brownies ala mode you'll be glad you saved room for dessert! Located in Downtown Durango, 1/2 a block for the historic Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge railroad. A great place to dine after your train ride.

What a pleasant surprise. This place has really great food, great service and a cool vibe. Passing through town and so glad I stopped in for dinner. Party of 5 and we all sent back cleaned plates! Props to the chef!

Absolutely the BEST Prime Rib dinner ! Perfectly cooked to order and great sides. Fries are thin and tasty, and the vegetables are fresh. Nice Bar area if you want to eat at the bar, and fairly quiet table area. Great service and staff. Reasonably priced and a great value for the dinner!!

The four of us enjoyed our entrees. I really liked my salmon burger. Great place to eat after riding the train - 2 blocks up the street.

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Roost. The service was outstanding. The menu had a nice variety of choices. The quality of the food was excellent. This was the best meal we had during our time in Durango. Highly recommend the Roost!

Great Customer Service!!!! Extremely friendly and made a last minute change to reservation time because of our delay! Nice specials and food was excellent and delivered hot, which was appreciated!

I had the salmon, which was cooked perfectly, beautifully presented, and delicious. My husband had the appetizer ( or small plate) meatballs, and was very happy. This is our “go to “ restaurant and we’ve never been disappointed.
