   We enjoyed a lovely Birthday Brunch with all the attention of friendly greeters and staff in the Dining Room. The Brunch was very tasty even the request of a special dish was given. Thank you

   It was amazing all Our plates were incredibly tasteful, we meet the owner who’s a gem. Nothing but smiles around the table. A must for everyone visiting PEC.

   Hip, minimalist atmosphere. Feels like a boutique hotel in a big city but with out the pretentious attitude. Very relaxed atmosphere & welcoming staff. Professional but friendly service. Excellent food. Highly recommend.

    Cocktails, food, service and ambiance were fabulous. We had a great evening at The Royal. Atmosphere was upscale yet cozy, design elements are city-chic. Not too big, not too small and staff were attentive, knowledgeable and charming. Will definitely be back to try the other offerings, perhaps stay a night!

    Loved the restaurant and the service. The food was great, my only complaint was that my fries were so salty I could not eat too many of them. And I generally love salt. But every other thing we ordered was perfect.

    This was a Birthday Dinner for my Wife. We found the place very nice, The service was Excellent, we were served by Ivan, very Friendly and Polite. The food was very Good and just the right portion. I would recommend it to our Friends.

    What a gorgeous renovation of the old Royal! Wonderful kitchen is a part of the experience; everyone is on view. Brunch menu had a few creative touches… polenta, nice gravlax. The staff is very well trained, not in your face, obliging and seemingly happy. It was a real treat for us and we will return for dinner soon

    Lovely restaurant, great food, a little on the pricey side, but worth it. Would certainly recommend for a special occasion. Ours was a birthday and I loved that they brought a glass of champagne instead cake or singing. Was perfect.

    Beautiful restoration of the Royal, lovely staff, pizzas looked delicious - will definitely try them next time. The food we had was good but not exceptional. We shared the oxtail pasta, trout, gratin potatoes, roasted carrots. The trout was the best of the bunch.

    Everything was wonderful but the sable fish has room for improvement. It had a slight fishy smell when coming the table, although tasted good. Portion was a smaller and we couldn’t help laugh at the 1/4 carrot on the plate. For a pricier item on the menu, it felt like the value wasn’t there. Maybe cut the carrot differently so it isn’t so obvious if the resources aren’t there? Or drop the price. Still a fabulous experience.

    Excellent staff. Ivan our server was amazing as were all staff…place is nicely decorated and has a great atmosphere. The steak was absolutely amazing and the oysters were to die for. Great experience…we look forward to bringing many more friends here.

    Dining out with another couple and we order 2 pizzas the Royal hamburger and Tagliatelle. Let me start by saying our 1st time here was amazing in all aspects hence the reason we brought our friends. Unfortunately this time it was not the case and we typically don't complain but both pizzas were not completely cooked and soggy in the middle. The hamburger was raw in the middle when asked to cook medium -medium well and the Tagliatelle was so tasty but extremely salty. Not sure if it was just being rushed due to the restaurant being packed or just an off night, but it definitely was't the spectacular meal we enjoyed the 1st time. This said our server was fantastic and didn't charge for the pizzas and provided complimentary dessert for each of us. She was truly the saving grace for a dismal meal.

    Staff were professional and pleasant. We were very pleased with the service. Only negative is the piped in music - too loud and inappropriate for fine dining. Overall we enjoyed our dinner.
