Brittney was great!! The ribeye was so flavorful, and my drinks were great too. The cab franc by the glass will be my new go to wine. Their pairing suggestion was spot on. This place never disappoints.

The Royal Scam was excellent last night. It was our 10 year anniversary and they went above and beyond to make it special for us. Our meals were delicious and we had a wonderful time!

We waited 30 minutes for our reservation but sat at the bar and had a wonderful Tuna Tartare appetizer. When we were seated, my friend ordered the crab cakes for dinner and I ordered the pan seared halibut with tricolor carrots and black garlic mashed potatoes with a jam that I think was blackberry and bacon. It was out of this world amazing! Definitely unique flavors but they all complemented each other nicely. That was a meal that I will not forget!!

I love eating at the Royal Scam when I visit Mobile. Our server tonight was fantastic! I wish I could remember her name, but she was PHENOMENAL. We had a terrible experience at Dumbwaiter’s with our server Haley the night before, so to have an amazing experience tonight at Royal Scam revived my love of eating locally. The food, of course, was delicious, and management was exceptional as well.

We had 5 pm reservations and we were seated promptly. We were the only ones in there until about 5:30 and then it picked up. I got gumbo and crab cakes. Both were delicious. My coworker got the shrimp appetizer. She really liked it. We planned on getting desserts but we were too full. I was excited to finally get to try it. I would love to come back again in the future and try the filet.

All of the food that we tried at The Royal Scam was phenomenal. Even the sweet tea was terrific! Filet and fish were both perfectly cooked. The cuscus with goat cheese was delicious! Would absolutely recommend.

We had an excellent dining experience at The Royal Scam. The service was friendly and excellent in every way. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and delicious. All the food was excellent. It's a very small restaurant so you may want to make a reservation just in case. I highly recommend this restaurant for fine dining.

We had a beautiful night in the courtyard with small plates (crab cakes and sugar cane pork belly), their signature gumbo, and bread pudding with a French press pit of coffee. The service was excellent (ask for Lydia) and every bite was delicious.

All four of us loved our dinner! Royal Scam is a very charming and comfortable setting with excellent food and service. Everything we ate was top-notch including the triple tail fish filet, redfish, and short rib. The crab cakes and Hanoi shrimp were also wonderful. We have been here many times and will definitely return again soon.

Delicious dinner at the Royal Scam. It definitely sets the bar high for fine dining in Mobile. Staff was attentive, but we didn’t feel rushed. Redfish & Cajun rice was outstanding local favorite!

My wife and had dinner on 25 July 23. Both of us had one of their daily specials. I had the red fish which came with brazed broccoli and cuz cuz. It was awesome. The fish was tender and came with a glaze (sorry, I can't remember the specific flavor). I also had a bowl of gumbo as my appetizer. The gumbo was very flavorful. My wife had the 14 oz ribeye and substituted the potatoes and green beans (I think) with a salad. Our only issue with the service was that the salad. It came with a bevvy of what I would consider flavorful additions (almonds, dried tomatoes, etc). My wife simply wanted the "greens" with the house balsamic dressing. The server said she couldn't take the additional items off. The other issue was the server brought the salad with the meal instead of prior to the meal. I get it, she had substituted the salad for the steak's side items. But you'd think she could bring the salad out when she brought my gumbo. The maître d' came over to ask "how's everything". She noticed my wife trying to remove items from the salad. She quickly took away the salad and brought her a new salad (minus the additional items). She was awesome. Overall this is an outstanding restaurant and we'd definitely eat there again.

My wife and I ate here years ago. We were coming to a concert and thought we’d try it again. There were a few critical remarks online about food quality and service so we thought the desert at least would be good. Much to our delight, the food and Trinity’s great service made for a wonderful experience. We both had the red grouper special. Not every restaurant and chef makes grouper well. Too many over cook or think frying is the only way. Hats off to the chef and the team in the kitchen. The lemon flavor was perfect and the light crust topped off with the light sauce was scrumptious. Thanks to the Chef and Trinity.
