   Went in for a mid-afternoon meal. Restaurant was so loud (and hardly no one there) we couldn't hardly talk across the table. The food was good; service was fair.

    Came here for a pre- Mother’s Day dinner with my mother. It was her first time visiting The Rutledge and she thoroughly enjoyed her experience! Music was a vibe! Service was superb and our order came out quick for it to be a busy holiday weekend! Will be returning (again) sooner than later!

    Main dishes were tasty but borderline over priced for meal. $10 “side dish” of broccoli literally had 2 small pieces of broccoli. “Happy hour” wine pour$12 for a 4-5 oz pour. The whole issue here is value for cost, in our opinion one can find better values elsewhere.

    Very please with the place, the food was great, though the asparagus side was a little skimpy, the steak was perfect and as ordered, the drinks were great, staff was great, I think the drinks took a little longer than they should have, but were good. We didn't feel rushed, the person attending to us was friendly. We were there for our anniversary, the staff took the time to make a card and they all signed it to us. Nice place. Very comfortable and the layout was cool.

    We had Gabriel as our server. He started out super nice however as the night went on it went downhill. We ordered starters and drinks they came out very quickly. Gabriel came back to take our order, we asked him about a few items he gave us his opinion and we placed our order. about an hour and 15 minutes goes by and no food. We flagged down another server asked if she could find our server because we have been waiting a very long time. The server sent the manager, when she spoke with Gabriel he said he did not have an order for us, we were shocked! He never returned to our table to apologize. The manager was amazing comped our food and desserts. So needless to say, if you have Gabriel as a server you may be there awhile. Huge props to the manager for apologizing and making things right! To Gabriel, do better and atleast apologize for the mistake you made!

    I always ask the waitress what they recommend or what people order the most. Every dish our waitress recommended was the most expensive in each category. Trying to up her tip?? My friend who ordered the Lobster Roll said it was overpriced and not as good as it had been in the past. $26.00 for Tuscan Shrimp Pasta and it came with 4 shrimps. There's so many other great independently owned restaurants in the Cool Springs area, not sure I'll be returning to Rutledge any time soon.

    Music was loud when we arrived, but they were happy to adjust the volume so we could hear one another. Food was great- we enjoyed everything we tried. Table favorites were the steak rolls and mahi mahi. Would go back.

    Great service - Cameron was on his game and helped steer us to some excellent choices. The lobster roll was iconic and the Grasshopper after dinner drink didn’t disappoint!

    A good option if you're tired of the usual Franklin restaurant fare. A simple, not overwhelming menu that hits the right marks. Everything is fresh and presented well. The skillet cornbread is so rich and decadent, it's practically a dessert. The house red wine tasted a lot like a merlot to me.

    Maybe it was the time we went, 630 PM on a work day - but this was like a restaurant attached to an extremely noisy bar. And catering to the after wok crowd food service was extremely rushed. A 45 minute dinner was no what we had in mind.

    Our server was very attentive and pleasant. Food wasn't bad, it just wasn't great. The presentation was upscale but the food flavor was just mediocre. We had the cesaer salad, lobster mac and cheese and the mahi mahi. Again, not terrible, but just very basic. Nothing that would justify the prices.

    My husband enjoyed his meal (meatball). The shrimp in the pesto pasta dish was very over cooked. The dish was topped with an inordinate amount of olive oil. I added salt and the fresh Parmesan I was provided and did find it improved.

    We love the Rutledge but were sorely disappointed. The server was great, so this is no reflection of him. We drove from out of town for a nice Easter lunch. They advertised the regular menu and a few specials, but no where does it state the regular menu on Sundays is a “limited” menu compared to every other day. In addition, it was practically empty and they sat us at a table, in the back right by the bathrooms and in the main walkway/access to the server station. The drinks were well made but EXTREMELY overpriced for a simple vodka martini and the amount of food we received. We closed out and went to another restaurant to have an actual meal off a regular menu.
