    Lovely restuarant and overall a great place to dine, except for one major issue. There were flies on the table and landing on the food and sauces. Very poor experience because of that.

    Horrible service. We had to call the waiter a few Times before they could give us a Menu card. The food was served in a poor fashion, did not get any feel of eating at a fine dine.

    Limited menu. No bread with meal. Service was very slow due to critical shortage of staff and a few seeming very new at their jobs. It is all too bad as the hotel is nice and access to this restaurant is important given the location of the hotel being away from other action.

    Online menu was outdated. Item ordered from the menu didn’t match the description. Waiters and waitresses were nice but overwhelmed by the work. Food came quickly. Waited a long time for the bill.

    Overall very disappointed with the menu. There was only one fish selection of fish and chips which was completely overcooked. I had to scoop the fish flesh from the dried out overcooked batter. Breakfast was poor. No orange juice . Food not being replenished. No eggs or black and white pudding What was available was cold

    Utterly disgraceful. The restaurant refused to accommodate dietary requirements and then told us we cant discuss options with the chef because theres a party that's more important. They also denied this software was related to their reservation system and then said they don't receive any notes added. (Like dietary requirements) Never even got to order food they were so dismissive and arrogant.

    Lovely staff, beautiful restaurant but the food quality was not great. Very expensive for what I got. The goats cheese salad was really just a few green leaves and the cheese whipped goats cheese with the toast. Chips were nice though.

    Waiters very slow was just myself and husband and another couple in the bar, waiter gave incorrect dish. Atmosphere not great for such a place that have a lovely interior design.

    Dreadful food. Four of us had two different types of pasta. It all arrived in the same sauce which was the consistency of milk.

    The salad was nice, however we couldn’t tell if the pulled pork was ok to eat as it smelled off and tasted slightly off too. The chicken burger was ok but way over priced for just a burger and a few chips no garnish nothing. The breakfast was dreadful as ALL the food was stone cold and inedible.

    Second time eating at Samuel. Positive experience. One of the lunches didnt arrive with others but lady explained and they had it ASAP shortly after, great service. Portions could be slightly bigger.

    We enjoyed a lovely & tasty meal in the Samuel before going to the Michael Buble concert on Sunday 14th May. We have dined many times and have never been disappointed. Very helpful & friendly staff. We would recommend the Samuel restaurant & bar.

    Beef burger and chicken burger lovely chips not very hot and would have been nicer home made nothing special. Staff very nice and gave us table even though we were half hour early overall nice experience handy for 3 arena

    Waitress was inattentive, waited 10 minutes to give my order even though restaurant was quiet. Eventually the manager took it. Pasta dish was nice. Green Beans were advertised with crispy onions Just got a plain serving of beans

    Nice restaurant and staff but not up to the level I would expect. Thin paper napkins, no wet wipes or offer of bowls for chicken wings. Thai red curry had nothing Thai about it - it was an Indian curry. No one bothered to asked how the food was. A bit of a mess to be honest.
