   Always enjoy eating at the shore room. The food is consistently good and reasonably priced. The ambience can't be beat with the best river front dining in Reno, especially in the warmer months when the patio is open. The only down sound is that the table service can be very slow.

   One of my favorite places to go for brunch. We can reserve online, the food is amazing, the bottomless mimosas are delicious and we the view is great!

   The staff at The Shore Room were incredible. Our server was very attentive and kind and made fantastic recommendations. The food was fantastic, even if I was too distracted to fully appreciate it. My mind was elsewhere as I had planned a proposal at the end of the meal. Even still, the staff were all so kind and supportive and were quick to offer their congratulations at the end of the night. They helped turn a special moment into an even more memorable one. I will always be grateful to the staff for last night, especially our server who took care of us down to every last detail. Fantastic night. Thank you again and again.

    Beautiful food presentation. Delicious cocktail. The decor, lighting and scenery of the Truckee River sets the perfect scene. Please bring back the option to sit at the counter and interact with the chef!

    Busy place. Service was great. Our server, Bailey was patient and helpful. Food was very good. Unfortunately, my date was more of a meat and potatoes woman as opposed to fine dining so she had difficulty with the menu choices.

    First time at The Shore Room. Took my husband out for his birthday and we were not disappointed! Excellent food, service and ambiance. We ordered a couple small plates, the mini lamb chops were out of this world, the citrus salad was delicious. We shared the special pork dish of the day and it was more than enough for the 2 of us and cooked superbly. Will definitely recommend and be back for sure!

    I wish we didn’t have to sit in the brightly lit side room. It felt like we were excluded from the rest of the restaurant. It felt very awkward and, while our server was very nice, it did kind of feel like we were an afterthought. Food was good and the drinks were great.

    Do not recommend for brunch if you want to be able to hear anyone seated at your table - very loud to the point of making conversation futile and very boozy. The bottomless mimosa offer meant all the surrounding tables were intoxicated, loud and unpleasant. Food was good and everything else was not. Do not recommend.

    This place had the most friendly and efficient staff! The food was outstanding! In the dining room you have the view of the river and you can also watch the chefs hard at work. I highly recommend it and we will definitely be coming back!

    Our server Joe, was phenomenal. He has been there for over 3 years and knew the restaurant inside and out. The food was great, the drinks were excellent and the ambiance was outstanding.

    We entertained guests from Northern Nevada. 6 of us for an early dinner. We had drinks, appetizers, small plates, salads and dinner entrees. Everyone was very happy with their selections. It was a very nice dinner!

    We were staying at the hotel and had brunch here twice. The food was solid, fairly priced, and very tasty. Service was kind of mixed. The person checking in people to be seated was very aloof and seemed unfriendly but both the bartender and the actual wait staff were very nice.

    This was the perfect place for our Christmas dinner. We could see the beautiful Truckee River below us and the lights of the city around us. The food was delicious, our waiter friendly and helpful.

    We had a party of 4 for Christmas Eve dinner, everyone had a different menu selection and no one was disappointed! Service was very good on a busy night. My only complaint was that we were seated at a table away from the windows, more in the middle of the room. I should have asked to move to a better table , I noticed as the night went on the upholstered booths were not occupied. My fault for not speaking up !

    We live two blocks from The Shore, and every meal we've had there has been great. However, none of the four of us enjoyed our food on Christmas Eve. What a shame.

    Poor slow service from our table waitress. COMPLETE Lack of options for a plant based vegan eaters - there’s only ever been one option the last 5 years, it’s not offered you have to BEG !!!! Come on guys. Get with it and offer some variety instead of making us feel awkward to even ask.

    The food was excellent. The restaurant was beautiful. Service was friendly, but very VERY slow. This included taking drink orders, delivering drinks, waiting for the check, table checks for refills, etc.

    Great dinner. Great food. Great Service. TIme with good friends. It was louder than usual as there were quite a few large parties. Usually quieter. Hard to carry on conversations at times. We will go back again.
