Such a cute, fab place with a beautiful rooftop patio. Food was delicious and the service was great. Our server was great as well.
Terrible Service, very rude staff.
It was fun! Food was really good.
Very pleasant had a lot of fun! Good food! Yummy dessert!
Made a booking for 2.15 to celebrate my friend who was visiting Toronto’s birthday. Travelled an hour to get there arrived 15 mins early and door is locked. Called multiple times no answer, left an Instagram message but ignored and waited around but eventually left, super disappointed
Overall an ok experience. The wait staff need more training, ours couldn’t even pour a bottle of wine and spilt it. Food good to very good, a few misses, the intention and ideas are good but the execution needs a little work.
Extremely disappointed with how the night played out. Food was great. So was the atmosphere. Service was great up until I reviewed my bill.
Upon arrival the waiter convinced my friend into taking a shot with him for her birthday. For drinks my friend ordered the wild & free cocktail which was $18. She asked to make it a double.
Seeing that it was my friends birthday. I offered to pay for her shot and drink. Upon reviewing my bill the waiter charged me for both shots (including his) which I never asked him to take and charged an additional $18 (same cost as the drink) to make her drink a double. I ended up paying an additional $62 on my tab for alcohol, bringing my total to $172 for 5 split appetizers, 2 cocktails, and 1 shot.
Will not be dining here again.
Absolutely the best spot in the city!
The food and service was great! Definitely will come back, however we noticed there were a lot of bees throughout our stay. Otherwise it was a great experience.
Loved it! Blown away by the food! We had the breakfast burger and avocado toast. The patio is also the prettiest! I would suggest not to order mimosas since there are a lot of bees and we couldn’t even drink them. The bees fell inside the drinks many times. Aside from that , great experience, friendly staff! Amazing.
I can’t get enough of this place. The food is exceptional and so is the view. They also know how to make a proper cocktail. Which is rare these days
I dined at skyflower recently and I can say that it was a truly unique experience. Their atmosphere fits perfectly with the Toronto lifestyle and setting of the city and more. The menu options were outstanding and it sets itself apart from any other restaurant experience I’ve had. I look forward to coming back in the future and I will definetly recommend to anyone who wants a memorable restaurant experience in Toronto.
Amazing overall experience. Servers were attentive, food was worth every penny, and the ambience was a 10/10!
Food was outstanding and the service was extremely friendly and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend!
The food was spectacular! Our server zak was absolutely phenomenal making the overall service a 10! The halibut is to die for :).
Such a great little hideaway! Awesome vibe, great view and cute decor. Our waiter suggested the “experience” so we got to try most things on the menu and chose a few add ons. Such a fantastic option! The lettuce wraps and halibut were AMAZING! Cocktails were fun, delicious and on theme. All in all a fantastic date night! Highly recommend :)
Amazing food with an outstanding view
Great food. AMAZING view. OUTSTANDING service. Ask for the skyflower experience to try the best things on the menu.. Basically everything. Big parties are taken care of very well! Best place to do your birthday before it gets cold but they do have heaters and lattes!
The food was great and we didn't have to wait too long for it which was nice, the patio was very nicely set up and had very nice views of the city and cn tower.
Have to check out this beautiful flower coveredl patio! My friends and I loved it for a girls night out. We tried the duck tacos and they were really delicious! Bonus points for the ceiling heaters since it's getting a little chillier!
amazing food, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and gorgeous views of the skyline! will definitely be back soon, 10/10 recommend!!!
I had an amazing server named Zar who was very attentive and very witty. She made me laugh and made the experience so pleaSant. It’s been hard to find an establishment that can actually make proper cocktails these days and skyflower really hit the nail on the head with this one. I was able to get a proper martini, one of the best I’ve had in a while. The food was delicious, I had the halibut for my main course and it was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. I will definitely be coming back and will make this a Regualr spot.
The bees were a major problem. It was clearly their first brunch setting, so I'm sure things will improve. Additionally, the chicken and waffles had rock-hard dry waffles, with only a small container of butter to take the edge off. Then when we asked for syrup, it was not sweet and was very runny. The chicken was incredible. The waffles need work. The burger was good.
Went for the first weekend that their brunch was available- just some things we noticed:
1. Was so difficult to find out who our server was. Our original server didnt come so another server started filling in for him. Just appeared very disorganized and unprofessional
2. Bees everywhere..one fell into our mimosa. Thankfully got another one. If youre allergic to bees, beeware.
3. Food- the egg waffle for the chicken & waffle dish was too hard, wish it was softer but chicken was tender and delicious.
The burger patty came out more on rare side.. apparently thats how they cook it..which was strange bc its not a steak, and typically burgers are enjoyed well done, but we asked if they can cook it again which they did and we were grateful.
4. No coffee at a brunch place lol. We heard lots of nearby tables wondering why this is the case..although they have lattes and cappuccinos…
Overall food was pretty tasty and we love lovveed the flower vibe and look; we were excited bc it’s Eric Chong’s resto but we wish the service was more coordinated to make the time more enjoyable. And definitely figure out the bee situation :)
The service here was an absolute joke. We did the tasting menu and the bus boy was literally setting the food down and leaving - server was nowhere to be found to tell us WHAT we were eating. They were incredibly slow and right after the appetizers, they told us we might need to give up our table for the next seating (yes, we had a reservation). Instead of spacing out the mains for tasting, they gave them all at once. The dessert was served WITH the bill (which we did not ask for). Terrible experience. Food was great though, can’t take that from them.
We were very excited to join the Skyflower for dinner but unfortunately very disappointed with the cleanliness of the washroom, the poor quality of the service and how we were push out the door for the other seating. The food overall was good except the halibut was not properly cooked. The ambiance was chill with good music.
Food is absolutely amazing and wish I could have tried all the dishes! Cocktails are equally as great. Excellent spot on a roof top close to the CN tower as well. The staff were the only let down this evening. Maybe they were under staffed but we felt rushed by our server which tainted the overall experience a little.
When I originally booked this new place, Open Table rated this as $$$$ for value/cost and described the patio and ambience (to me) as a high-end chef experience with unparalleled views and prepaid tasting menu. Sorry, this restaurant comes across as anything but! When we arrived, we found out the tasting experience is a. bunch of starters and the halibut main. So we passed. Overall Skyflower has a regular diner feel that should be rated as $$ value. Service was OK at first. Although our server was very nice, she started clearing our plates prematurely (before we were finished the food still on them!) and tried to bring us the bill before even offering us dessert! Granted I understand restaurants have time limits on tables these days, but the patio was not full and if you're going to rate yourself that high, then please make sure your staff are more experienced and adept at subtly wrapping up a table to keep everyone on time while still enjoying the experience. I wouldn't be returning anytime soon.
The service was great. The food was mixed. I was very disappointed with the halibut, it was salty and dry. Our server replaced it with an alternate dish that was fine. The problem was that everyone else in my party finished their dinner when my replacement dish came.
I saw them on Breakfast Television and booked the place. The food was amazing but couldn't enjoy it much, because of the scorching heat of the Sun. I wish they had some shade i.e. umbrellas/awning. Also, there were too many bees around constantly. We had to eat in a hurry and left.
Had a great time at Skyflower.
The food and service were great.
Fantastic view, beautiful space, superb service, and delicious food! I absolutely recommend having the “experience” menu as it was phenomenal. We can’t wait to return with more friends.
Our first stop of our weekend from Vancouver and it was amazing!
Annoying to be seated and then told that drinks:dinner would be cash only. We had been been notified before arriving and the tables adjacent to us had not been told either. Otherwise a fun sharing menu with a pretty skyline view of downtown.
Legitimately one of the worst restaurant experiences I've ever had. Terrible service - the waitress was oddly passive aggressive, also took them 10 mins to come to us once we sat down. We asked to be moved to a different table since the table against the wall was strange - the seat attached to the wall is about 5 inches higher than the detached seat, so you are not sitting anywhere close to eye level. After we requested this, our waitress was having a conversation about us with a manager right in front of us-- it was very awkward. Food was very bad - the halibut was overcooked and extremely salty. The burger bun was stale and the meat was overcooked. The cheese was hard. The fries were pretty good, but unfortunately we only got ends. The fact that the food was terrible is not surprising since the waitress who took us up to our table remarked that at Skyflower, it's all about the experience. It's obvious food is not the priority here.
0/10 would not recommend
Wow ! The food, service, drinks, ambiance, all amazing. I would go back in a heart beat. You can taste the quality of their ingredients and the time they’ve taken to prepare each dish. Master chef Eric Chong is incredible. Check it out, they won’t disappoint.
Great experience on an amazing patio. Recommend the fixed menu.
Incredible food, good atmosphere - a definite must try!
Everything was well executed and delicious! I highly recommand the Skyflower Experience.
