    We had the family platter; the onion rings were cold and the chicken was burnt. The brisket and ribs were good! Our server never came to check on us to see how our meal was or if we needed anything else to drink. They did take our drinks off the bill to compensate for this.

    Very quiet and peaceful. One waitress at first. Then people came, waitresses came. Ours was rarely seen . Food came fast. The Platter for 4, food great but not enough sudes forcl 4. Meat was delicious but no knives to cut meat with. She never came back to ask how we were doing. No spoons or fiyrks for serving or eating, had to ask for them. Thus, poor service, poor attention to customers, food good to a point but not a great first experience when it was a super quiet night end of season. Disappointed.

    What could be better than sitting outside watching the golfers come up the hill while enjoying a cold drink! Add a delicious meal and you’ve got yourself a winner! Service was excellent and prompt. Very friendly staff Beer selection was great, unfortunately the wine selection is horrible. All in all a great night! PS…the Tess, the beverage cart girl was great…many thanks for the ride “home”!!

    Food was very good. Service was lacking, however it was the soft opening for the restaurant, and it appeared as if it was the waitress' first day. Only real problem was the sound, the musical entertainment was top notch, but...with he volume and the acoustics of the building it was near impossible to carry on a conversation. The waitress was explaining stuff, and I was unable to hear a single word being said. Had to lean into the person sitting next to you to hear them. All in all...pleasant evening and dinner. Also...better advertising about the location of the restaurant would be helpful. Advertising gave the address of the hotel. Parked at the hotel and walked around looking for a few minutes. Finally asked and was told it he was at the golf course.

    Good outdoor dining at the Algonquin Resort golf club. The best thing is that they accepted reservations for outdoor patio (very rare in St. Andrews this summer). Nice view of golf course with water in the back. Service was excellent. We enjoyed wings for an appetizer. We both had the brisket platter for the main course.

    The service was amazing. The view spectacular. The brisket was recommended and very very good. I was told the fries were hand cut but they appeared frozen to me. The ribs were not what one would expect from a smoke house. They were dry and not juicy at all. I actually expected better from a golf course.

    Our last evening in Saint Andrews was spent dining outdoors with the family at The Algonquin’s Smokehouse BBQ at the golf course – with a splendid view of the Saint Croix River. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at The Algonquin and I would highly recommend it to anyone considering a visit to New Brunswick.

    The location is gorgeous overlooking both the golf course and the St. Andrew pier. Service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and bountiful. Servings were large. My husband and I shared a platter and it was so much food. The smoked meat was fall off the bone. Very well done.

    The food wasn’t that great given the price. The ribs were tough and the sides all tasted the same. Burger got rave reviews but for a “smokehouse”, the quality of the BBQ needs to be improved!

    The Smookhouse BBQ at Algonquinn was one of the best places To have a quiet dinner with an excellent view. We sat outside as the weather was excellent. Pur waitress was excellent and made us feel very welcome. The AFC or algonquinn fried chicken was very good. I Booked via opentable which gave us the wrong address for the restaurant but the people at Algonquinn were very friendly and helped us out.

    We were looking for an outdoor restaurant with a view and this was perfect! The view was spectacular, the food (especially the brisket) was delicious and the service was exemplary (I believe our server's name was Gwen). So glad we stumbled onto this place and can't wait to return!

    The brisket was good. The chicken was so dry I had to ask for some gravy. The ribs were over cooked I had to fight with it to get it off the bone. I took a glass of Sangria it was the worst they only put wine in it with lime and lemon. All the meat was under seasoned. The server was really nice but we were the only ones in tge smokehouse and we asked for a straw and more lime and never got it. It cost us 155$ for something totally not worth it. We went to Montana's wich was 100x better and only cost 80$ and eveeything was so good. Do not get caught in the smokehous tourist trap they should not be a smokehouse they do not know how to smoke food. I do not recomend this place.

    I wanted to like it and I know everyone is really short people and it’s beyond hard, especially in a resort town but the service was beyond bad. And she had no idea that it was bad. We sat at 5:50. Beer finally at the table by 5:32. Eating by 7:10. No self awareness and no sign of a manager anywhere. I’d never get back.
