   The young lady serving us was the only server or hostess on site and she did an incredible job and provided excellent service considering the circumstances. All the food was amazing as always. Especially love the patatas bravas and the beef tacos!

   We had excellent food, but a bit pricey—a nice selection of wines at a wide range of price points. The restaurant had plenty of open tables, given that it was a Saturday evening.

   We had a lovely evening. This is the second time I have gone and the dishes are big hits or misses. The Halibut, the cheese and charcuterie, the patatas bravas - big hits, fresh and delicious, the guacamole was very mediocre (reminded me of stir bought pre packaged), the Caesar was not great. It is expensive, but I knew that going in. The cocktails are nice. I will go back, but learning the menu is important it seems.

   I have been going to Soca Kitchen since they first opened many years ago in Wellington West. The new location is beautifully decorated and the service is still just as good. The food is deliciously prepared and beautifully presented, the staff is friendly. Overall, one of my favourite places in the city still for tapas.

    Music too loud. Wine at $14.50 very pricey and ordinary. Servers okay but waited for bill. No blinds and west sun in one guests eye. Need more tables less banquettes. Will not go back. Poor.

    Very limited menu, limited bar. No attempt to innovate beyond the offerings (ask for a margarita, they only do a cucumber margarita, only one brand of vodka). Very limited wine list. The ceviche was not ceviche at all. It was a mound of cooked flaked fish. Overall just disappointing with junior servers who never came by to check on things. It’s a one and done for us.

    Great food and service. Got to try the smoked old fashioned. Loads of options for food and happily helped me with my allergies. Food was amazing. Highly recommend Soca and will be back when next back in Ottawa.

    Lunch at the Soca Kitchen was an enjoyable experience. Making a reservation through the website was pain free. There’s parking which is always great. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The menu isn’t too expansive but the food was amazing but a little pricey.

    Heard this place was a hidden gem for brunch and it did not disappoint, the food was delicious and we had an excellent waitress who explained everything to my parents. Will be back again to try to the dinner menu but definitely coming back fro brunch again!

    The menu was varied and the quality of the food was very good. However, the service was dismal. The restaurant wasn't that busy, but our server made several mistakes. Brought margaritas when we had ordered cava. Fixed that. Then brought the wine while we were still drinking the cava. We asked that they bring it back with the main course. We ordered two glasses of the same Spanish white, and got one Spanish white and a California chardonnay. We asked for bread with the main, but never got it. So disappointing for what otherwise could have been an enjoyable meal.

    Beautiful deco, clean, friendly, diverse menu, sourdough bread delicious! Chefs Charcuterie platter for 2 ppl was overpriced for what little we got but it was tasty. The tacos were delicious. Best mojito ever!

    While the service was excellent, particularly kind and efficient, we were very disappointed by the limited menu. So much that we decided not to go back. The sangria was so good it threw me right back to Las Ramblas in Barcelona!

    This was my first visit and it will definitely not be my last. It was the perfect Mother's Day brunch experience. The food was exquisite and the taste combinations were amazing. We all tried each other's dishes, and all of them were delicious. The cucumber margarita was perfect! Have raved about your dining experience at work today, and have recommended it as the place to go. I will be back for sure!

    Went for my birthday. Mentioned to the server that we were in no rush - wanted to take our time and have a few drinks. She said no problem give me your order and the kitchen will time it slow. Had just put the fork down for my appetizer and the entree is plunked on the table. The food was fine but when you make a point of saying I want a leisurely dinner and get rushed it is extremely off putting.

    It’s pretty, it’s comfortable and the food is delicious . Waiting staff were friendly and accommodating but they need a little tweaking. Food arrived all at once, too quickly …we hadn’t even received our first drink. Plates that were empty were left on the table until we asked for them to be removed. Table was not wiped down until we asked. I think they just need better training.
