The Sportsbar LIVE! At Rogers Arena
Bringing the sports bar experience to another level this venue offers an exciting, high-energy space to get in on the action. Immersed in the electric atmosphere of Rogers Arena, fans watch the game surrounded by heart-pounding audio-visuals. Executive Chef Robert Bartley’s menu – sports bar favourites re-imagined using fresh, local ingredients – is perfect for sharing and is complimented by signature cocktails, craft beers, wines, and spirits.
Servers were very attentive and able to move us to a table with a view of the ice. Food was great, good sized portions and came out quickly. We had my preteen boys and the next table had a couple of young kids too. Staff were excellent with both age groups. Certainly worth going to pre-game. Added to our game day experience.
The Sportsbar is cool and an awesome vibe being apart of Rogers Arena. I think it'd be cool to watch games there during Playoffs. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The prices... like everything else at Rogers Arena is expensive. So I'm hesitant to recommend it to people for that reason. But it's a cool place to go like once a year as a treat.
We had a great night. The service was amazing, very friendly, prompt..the food was tasty. And then we won tickets to the game!! Such a fun evening. We ended up back at the sportsbar after the game - would definitely recommend this venue for anyone who wants to watch the game - so many tv's and such a good vibe
Always great food, great service and great times!
We had the worst table in the place. The food was over priced for what we got and it was so loud we couldn’t even hear each other. I understand it’s a sports bar but the music was just so loud. And I didn’t get 100 open table points? Not sure why but that’s also annoying.
Made a reservation before the Canucks game last Friday night, as soon as we sat down we were told there was another reservation after us and we had to be out by 6pm. They sat us at a table closest to the bar where all the traffic walked by, table must have been banged into 30 times. Not a great experience and for the price, horrible!
We enjoyed ourselves, great place to go before the Canucks game.
Food way to expensive and should be a little cheaper
I was attending a lacrosse game and had dinner at sports bar before the game. They had food and drink specials and our dinner was great!
Birthday gathering for 6
I have quarter season Canucks tickets and reserve at the SportsBar almost every time.
Outstanding pub before or after any event at Rogers Arena, especially Canucks games!
We attended the World Juniors hockey tournament and used the Sports Bar on 3 separate occasions. This time the Reservation line was much more organized
and we experienced no trouble getting into the Restaurant! Our Server was fantastic!!
We had a reservation but unfortunately we were not able to get into the Sports Bar without having to wait in a line with others NOT having a reservation. After a period of time a employee came outside and we explained our situation and he was finally able to get us inside the Sports Bar. It seems like a separate line for people with reservations would be obvious. We were very disappointed with the situation.
Good experience overall.
Great atmosphere to watch the game. Great food & drinks but service was a little slow especially since the bar had emptied out. But would go back for sure
Excellent and fast service
This place was perfect for what our group was looking for between world junior games.! Great service, good food, lots of choices, and fun hockey atmosphere.Thsnks again to the staff for all your kind service on a very busy day.
3 o'clock reservation. They opened at 3.By the time we got through security then wait because the staff was doing a briefing. So 15 mins later we were served. Did I mention you are only allowed 90 mins per reservation. They wasted 15 mins of ours.
Our first table was very wabbly. Had to move. Food was sub par. Very dispointing. But the drinks were cold. Service was good.
First and last visit.
Will not recommend this place.
Great venue for pre and post Junior Hockey Tourney games - great Canadian hockey vibe! Nachos were fresh and delicious, ordered a half order and size was plenty for 4 people. Make sure to make a reso if going before a big game, very busy.
Great food and service but far too noisy!! Was impossible to carry in a conversation
Great place to go before the game. Greqt service but high mark up on wine.
Slow service on a busy night. New waitress who indicated she had a nice smile as she was apologizing for the confusion around the drinks. She was not familiar with the menu and was not able to answer questions about menu items. The food, once it did arrive was good. The atmosphere, especially with a group of good friends, was good but the service did suck badly.
Great spot to watch the game Staff very friendly and helpful.
Great place to go before the game . Good food. Good service.
We had a reservation, sat down and not one server attended our table for over 15-20 mins, so we left and grabbed our own drinks at one of the many consessions stations at the arena instead. Overall we were not impressed with the service.
pretty amazing view of rogers arena from on corner of bar. unfortunately some VIPs were in prime seating and security wouldn`t let us over there. Nice place but a little snooty, erspecially for a lacrosse team
Great place to watch a game. Food is excellent.
Food was excellent! We had prime rib and salmon. Disappointed that they were not on time and ready for our reservation, so we ended up being late for the game.
Great food and drinks, love to go there to watch NHL, good value and choice for happy hour.
Excellent service, both attentive and unobtrusive at the same time. The wings are a go to staple here, I also tried the goyso which had an amazing sauce. Full marks!
I was seated at a 2-person high top just near the VIP opened area overlooking the ice and I could see a bit of the jumbotron. My first time at the Sportsbar and found the whole atmosphere to be really cool! Plenty of screens everywhere and it tickled me to be able to feel the arena atmosphere without having a game ticket. It’s definitely a gotta kind of shout atmosphere, but makes it fun! It’s not rowdy or anything. Just a classy, cool place. Will be back for sure!
Great place to meet up with friends for a drink and a bite before a game
So many reviews have been written about the exceedingly high level of music, to the point where you cannot carry on a conversation with the person beside you without yelling. Obviously SportsBar doesn't read the reviews, or doesn't care. Play loud music if you have to but NOT so loud that it is overpowering, after all its supposed to be a dining experience not a nightclub.
We got there at 5;30 so we would have plenty of time to watch pregame skate. Waitress didn't put one of our orders in and we didn't get that until 6:10. And then she, or management, didn't even offer to make it right with any type of incentive.
Average food at a high price, poor service, and unable to carry on a conversation with friends or staff(maybe thats why they screw up orders????).
Do not recommend.
The only thing this place has going for it is it location and the good service.
$30 for a plate of nachos that we could barely eat is outrageous. We also could not eat the chicken wings as they were all batter. The food here is some of the worst we’ve had in Vancouver we will not be going back.
The reason we went here is the location at Rogers Arena, it is too bad that the food and ambiance is so poor we were hoping for a great evening and were extremely disappointed the only serving Grace was our waitress who is extremely professional and pleasant
Our chicken wings came out cold to the bone and raw. Our fries and gyoza came out cold too. Beers are $12. No manager came by to quality check even after the raw chicken wings. And to top it all off the have the servers first and last name on the bill. I’ve worked in the service industry for a long time and this establishment needs to shape up. Bathrooms were out of toilet paper and hand towels... funny because the only people in the washroom were 3 staff members using it. They could have stocked it and cleaned it while they were using the facilities.
It takes a lot to be a favourite place. This is a pregame place that we like to go.
It has energy and its all about the game. It has a tastey menu and its always prepared well.
Notably the Servers work very hard under extreme circumstances getting patrons in served and out before game time. They do a great job, be nice to them.
The location is very convenient and as far as pub food goes it has some interesting choices.
If you want a table book early.
*The restrooms are clean, safe and nice. Well done!
Online reservation was convenient, staff was very friendly and accommodating, service was fast and efficient, food quality was good.
Would definitely go back
The food was great and the service was timely. Music was too loud, people go there to have conversation, not to dance, it is not a night club. Turn down the music, all my guests complained about it.
