The Sportsbar LIVE! At Rogers Arena
Bringing the sports bar experience to another level this venue offers an exciting, high-energy space to get in on the action. Immersed in the electric atmosphere of Rogers Arena, fans watch the game surrounded by heart-pounding audio-visuals. Executive Chef Robert Bartley’s menu – sports bar favourites re-imagined using fresh, local ingredients – is perfect for sharing and is complimented by signature cocktails, craft beers, wines, and spirits.
Most of value deals that were offered for Warriors game have been taken away except $5 cans of bud. They should offer some deals as draw is so much less than Canucks..I am disappointed but not at all surprised.
Everything was good, but I just thought it was a little expensive. I don’t get out much so was a little surprised that for me, my wife and 14 year old son the bill (including tip and tax) was $160.
I don’t know why it has to be so loud in there?!?! It’s so loud that I can’t even hear the servers.
MY WIFE & MYSELF ENJOYED THE MOST EXCELLENT PRIME RIB. IT WAS NICE THAT ROBERT BARTLEY CAME TO OUR TABLE SO I COULD INTRODUCE MY WIFE TO HIM. THANK YOU ROBERT! We had a very excellent time, super service. We gave it a 4 star rating, the loud noise was a star looser!
Always enjoy going, my brothers first time. A friend had a child with a disability and they looked after them.
you can see the hockey game... There was an even in BC Place (Rugby 7's) and this place was totally empty for lunch! weird. food was good, service was good as well.
Great service. So fast
The service was great however the Tenderloin was great but cold..
Might be a bit loud. Awesome servers, great food, great overall atmosphere.
Great place to meet before the game.......turn down the sound a bit!!!!
Too hot and too loud. Aside from that it was great.
Great service! Perfectly timed meal before the gane
It's convenient. Atmosphere is good although too loud as I couldn't hear my dinner partner from across a table for two. Server was pleasant, helpful and open. The issue is the cost of the food and beverages; poor value. $16 for 9-oz of Mission Hill plonk is much, much too expensive. Additionally, on this last occasion the wine was off - smelled like vinegar from across the table. The bar manager insisted it was fine b/c she had "tasted" it. Wasn't worth having that argument with her. For the prices that are charged my expectation was that another bottle would have been opened. Instead, a different wine which was even more expensive was offered. The food was good but also too expensive - I ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke salad. I doubt I`ll be back. For the kind-of money that the Sportsbar charges there are better restaurants in the vicinity.
Head chef here has created a great re-imagining pub style food, good variety. We were right on time for our reservation- which the manager commended us for as lots of people show up late at a venue like this - and we were seated right away. Our server was fantastic! She was attentive & had everything we ordered correct considering how crazy loud it was in there. That’s my only complaint- just way, way too loud in there. I’m all for music & fun in a vibrant atmosphere but when you have to yell at your table mates over your food, it’s just plain ridiculous. Other than that, the bar is run like a fine tuned machine!
You need to make it known that there is an elevator that can be taken. I am mobility challenged and thought I had no other option so forced myself to take the massive amount of stairs and I am still suffering 2 days later for doing so. I am coming to another event with my sister who has muscular dystrophy and in a wheelchair and had I not asked about an elevator as I knew I couldn't do those stairs again to get down, I would never have known and I would not have thought I could go with my sister to your restaurant. It should be well displayed that there is an elevator option as I looked for one before I started the stairs, but didnt see anything. The music was a bit too loud for dining, but the service was fast and the server was great.
We had a fantastic evening at The Sports bar Live! It was our first time there, and we were not disappointed! I enjoyed the Buffalo Cobb Salad, and Megan had the rib dinner. Its a great high energy environment, and no shortage of TVs. It was so convenient to enter the arena from the bar. We are excited to visit again.
Great food - excellent service
I don’t normally do this but my wife and I were so pleased with the arena staff that we had to recognize their outstanding service and teamwork a few days ago. My wife Jeri has mobility issues and we always use the 317 or 311wc sections of the arena. With the recent snowfall we were concerned about how we were going to make out at the concert. We had heard from friends that there was a restaurant at the arena but had never been to it before. So we called in a few days ahead of the concert and reserved a spot at the restaurant and a parking spot underneath the arena to avoid any snow issues. When we arrived, Brad from the parking division team escorted us to a great parking spot that was easy for my wife to navigate to the elevator to the restaurant. When he found out we had never been there before Brad kindly escorted us right into the restaurant through the freight elevator to accommodate my wife’s walker. He took us right to the central server station before leaving to help other guests. We had a fantastic non rushed meal with a very attentive server before heading to our seats at 317 wc. Unfortunately JT’s sound crew had taken over much of that section which made the wc concert patrons crammed in like sardines and we all were understandably very upset. The section hostess called in Guest Experience Supervisor Steven who moved several of us over to section 311wc to much more spacious seating. Then he checked in on all of us periodically throughout the concert to make sure we were all happy. ( we were ) After the concert a great young lady hostess ( who's name escapes me, possibly Gabrielle? ) escorted us back to the elevator to get to our car easily. From our arrival at the parking, our great meal and the awesome concert we felt we were the “Rock Stars”! Thanks again for a great guest experience, we have tickets for Buble and Cher and now that we know about the parking and restaurant we will be including that into our concert evenings as well.

The staff were all amazing! We were going to a concert there and needed to get to will call, but it was pouring rain. I asked the server if there was a way to get there without going out into the rain again. She quickly went and had one of the security men to escort us down to will call. It was way faster then if we had to run outside to get there. The food was amazing! Such a great time for two moms that desperately needed a night out!
Great place with great food! Awesome to go to before an event at rogers arena. Tad loud, as you really have to speak loudly in order for those joining you to even hear you.
We had Valentine’s Day drinks and meal here. The food was good, drinks we good but expensive and service was decent. Our main issue was the DJ was so so loud I could not hear my boyfriend sat across the table. She was a great DJ but was just too loud when the restaurant was full and everyone was trying to talk over the noise of the DJ. But overal was a good choice prior to a concert.
Everything was fine but too loud. I am all for a fun atmosphere but just turn it down a notch. it is full on yelling to hear the person beside you.
The live feed of the game shown in the bar is terrible. It's not the same feed as you would watch on TV, it's the feed from the jumbo-tron. Most of the angles are from ice level, hardly any overheads and lots of closups of players that may not even have the puck at the time. It's very random and makes the game virtually unwatchable. Do yourself a favour and go watch the game somewhere else.
Pre game appies. Nice double caesars c/w pepperoni and celery sticks. Great natchos. Perfect size for two. Guacamole and sour cream dippings were were piled inside chips so you edible when empty. A bit noisy but that is to be expected prior to a hockey game. Lots of tvs everywhere.
I love it here. The service is great. The food is great. The beverages are great. The only thing I would change is the noise level. It's just so loud that you can barely have a conversation with the person beside you.
Waitress seemed unconcerned about our sons severe nut allergy,
Her comment was “it should be ok” when we explained it was a very serious allergy , not just a dislike for nuts.
Also I love loud music but the music in the restaurant was way too loud.
Don't order a 25.50 glass of wine. Guess I should have looked at the menu lol, it was a 22$ bottle Food was good. Service was ok. Ambiance was awesome pre concert. Definitely book a reservations on an event night.
I chose the restaurant because of an email relating to the event I went to that gave me a code for 15% off if I made a reservation ahead of time. The reservation link sent me to open table and I could not find anywhere to enter the code. So I sent a message through open table but didn’t receive a reply. The 15% discount was not applied to my bill. How can I go about getting reimbursed?
Also I checked in when I got there and the hosts mentioned they had my reservation and radioed the people upstairs that my party was coming up and we had a reservation. During our dinner, the restaurant called me to ask if I was coming to my reservation.
Great sports bar, LOTS of TV’s. Kid friendly. Our waitress Emilie, was great, very attentive.
Good food. Good times
My husband and I both health problems as far as walking. Apparently there is an elevator but not well none cause they don’t offer it. We access off the Georgia and couldn’t see an elevator.
My husband says he won’t go again cause of the stairs. Which is very sad for me cause I really enjoy the restaurant.
We found the drinks expensive and the food also. The shrimp.cocktail was average but the lettuce wraps were disappointing when we saw the meat was breaded. The poutine was small portion for ? $12? The footlong hotdog was fairly good. The noise level was very loud. Our server was excellent though - she was friends, professional and knew the menu.
our first round of staff was wonderful! It was my husbands birthday so we stopped in for drink before the concert we were treated very well upon entry. we sadly didn't realize though there was an outside door so we walked all through the concert venue had our food and then when my husband went to have an after meal smoke he was told by security he wasn't allowed out and the only way he could have one was if he rebought tickets to the concert . we came back during the intermission for another drink and it was like an entirely different place the staff was rude i went to the bathroom fixed my hair and make up went to the washroom came back out and despite the fact that my husband had been sitting at the bar the whole time the bartender ignored him completely when he smiled and said hi she said she was busy and she would get to him... finally once we got our drinks a rowdy bunch of people came in asking for tequila shots and she was beyond rude to them and kept glaring at us like we had brought them then proceeded to ask if we were all on the same bill... we clearly didnt even know these people nor did we come in with them.
Servers were very attentive and able to move us to a table with a view of the ice. Food was great, good sized portions and came out quickly. We had my preteen boys and the next table had a couple of young kids too. Staff were excellent with both age groups. Certainly worth going to pre-game. Added to our game day experience.
The Sportsbar is cool and an awesome vibe being apart of Rogers Arena. I think it'd be cool to watch games there during Playoffs. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The prices... like everything else at Rogers Arena is expensive. So I'm hesitant to recommend it to people for that reason. But it's a cool place to go like once a year as a treat.
We had a great night. The service was amazing, very friendly, prompt..the food was tasty. And then we won tickets to the game!! Such a fun evening. We ended up back at the sportsbar after the game - would definitely recommend this venue for anyone who wants to watch the game - so many tv's and such a good vibe
Always great food, great service and great times!
We had the worst table in the place. The food was over priced for what we got and it was so loud we couldn’t even hear each other. I understand it’s a sports bar but the music was just so loud. And I didn’t get 100 open table points? Not sure why but that’s also annoying.
Made a reservation before the Canucks game last Friday night, as soon as we sat down we were told there was another reservation after us and we had to be out by 6pm. They sat us at a table closest to the bar where all the traffic walked by, table must have been banged into 30 times. Not a great experience and for the price, horrible!
